works well - not intuitive
Watch arrived. It is slimmer and smaller than I expected. This is nice - I don't care for a large watching sticking out from my wrist. Easy to read. Very good strap. The keeper for the tip of the strap has a notch that catches an extra slot on the strap tip. This holds the strap tip very securely - the tip will not get caught on anything and it makes it very secure. Very nice detail I appreciate. The user manual is poor. First the watch comes with a very large sheet of paper telling you to look up the manual on the web and says to seach by the product number on the package upc symbol - but it doesn't tell you which number by the UPC symbol to use. You have to try them all until you find one that works. The instructions give two names to each buttons (5 buttons). So you have to think twice when reading the instruction and double check which button is referenced. It would be easier and less confusing if they just gave each button a single name. In addition the instructions are not clear whether to hold a button down until option changes or whether you push the button multiple times. Sometimes it is hold, sometimes it is push mujltiple times to get preferred option. Once you figure it out though it works. The chime for count down timer is not very loud, easy to not hear it if there is a lot going on nearby.

Amazing Watch!!
Love the watch’s design as well as the strap. The loop on the band not only keeps the end in place but also has an added lock feature which is so much better than any watch I’ve had. Highly recommend! It really keeps the strap in place! The light feature is also great, watch is comfortable, and I wear it in the shower (no issues with water whatsoever).

Everything I care about for an everyday casual watch
I was pleased to be able to replace my years-old Timex Ironman Classic 30 watch with a comparable model. I have a small wrist (6 inches). Both the band and the body of the watch were well-proportioned for me. I like to have a night light, and ways to change the settings that aren't overly complicated. If the battery lasts as long as my the one on my old watch, I will be a happy camper. One thing was a problem on my previous watch: the keeper for the excess length on the watchband eventually broke. I could not find a replacement for it, but used a small rubber O-ring to do the job. No problems with the new one yet.

Reliable
easy to read, easy to use indiglo, day and date on display, three alarms and timer function, tolerates water and chlorhexidine exposure everyday, not too big and clunky on my wrist. As a nurse, these are the things I must have in a watch. They are lasting me about 3 years before either the band breaks or the indiglo goes out, or they just get so scratched and beat up I want a new one. I have tried casio and armitron, and a some generic brands for work, but I always come back to timex, and the ironman watches have become intuitive for me to operate. And those three alarms! My wake up alarm, clock in and clock out alarms, and the timer to keep me on track all day. My favorite watches. I have them in all the colors to match my scrubs! I have never had one of my ironman watches get water intrusion, even with daily water exposure, swimming at the pool after work, or snorkeling in the ocean.

Simple interface, what I wanted
This is "unisex" in some listings and a women's in others. It has the thin wrist band of a women's watch. Whatever, I wasn't interested in a dinner plate sized stop watch. I like that I can hide certain functions I'm not going to use. Very simple interface that is easy to learn. Nice big start/lap button and easy to read screen + lighting. The laps don't carry forward once you reset your overall time, which is both good and bad, depending, but makes it simpler overall.

Easy to set up
Buttons are easy its easy to read, alarm sound is loud plus it flashes. I really like this watch. Its a little small. I would go for the full size instead for my 6.5 inch wrist.

This watch is very comfortable to wear. I had the same model before for several years, and liked it so much I bought this one. I love the fact you have the day and date on show all the time. You also have the option to change which way round you want the month and date. My last model didn't have this option so read month first then day. The stop watch is easy to use. The light is very effective. It has many other features that I don't use. I don't wear this in the water, but it has certainly not shown any problem to splashs. Would highly recommend.

Great watch
Love this watch. Worn for swimming (timing/counting laps - but have not pressed buttons underwater as this is not advised in the instructions), in shower, gardening and general everyday. Would recommend. Arrived quickly and well packaged.
