Awesome Casio watch!
I have a small wrists and this watch is a nice great size. I really dislike watches with loud ticking so I love the ticking on this one is soft, I can’t hear it unless I place it on my ear.

Great simple watch, worth the price.
Pros: • The lume on the hands & hour makers actually isn’t as bad as some other inexpensive Casios & Timexes. • Very very lightweight. You forget you’re wearing a watch. • Nice contrast between the markers/hands & dial color. Makes viewing time easy. • 10-yr battery. • Absolutely no quartz ticking sound, even when close to ear (Contrast with the Timex Weekender, which you can literally hear across the room). • Date can be changed rapidly (by turning toward you / counterclockwise) when the stem is clicked out to the first position. Cons: • Plastic crystal. Will scratch. • Band is stiff. Not as flexible as the material on Casio’s digital watches. And because of the way it attaches to the case, I can’t imagine how you’d replace it with another type of band. General Comments: • The blue on the face is very subtle. Often looks black. But with the right light it’s a cool shade of blue. • People have commented on the size of the face/case. Yes, it is small, but unless you have a huge wrist, it looks okay.

Bands too short?
Band clasp sits on the side of my wrist. Not directly underneath, so watch face keeps rotating to the left?? Uncomfortable..

Very affordable watch that tells time and promises 10 year battery
This watch arrived in the typical Casio packaging. The outer package was very easy to open with hands, no nails, no cutters, no hardware needed. The user manual is hiding at the bottom of the plastic watch tree. The user manual and the packaging too cover a lot of different Casio watches. You can find the model number at the bottom of the packaging, where the box is cut off. To cross reference the user manual, this watch is number 2719. To change the date, pull the crown slowly and carefully to the first position and roll the crown towards you. It changes days one by one. The mechanical date change assumes a 31-day month, so for the five months of the year that have less than 31 days, you have to manually fix the date. You can do it with the above technique, or just roll the time forward twice around the clock per day that you want to roll forward. I held off the review to verify this: the March 31 to April 1st transition happened automatically but the April 30 to May 1st transition did not happen automatically. In other words, the watch said "31" instead of "01". So the date must be changed manually for the five months that have less than 31 days. This may be a deal killer if you must have the date and do not want to manually fix it 5x per year. To change the time, pull the crown to the second (most outer) position and roll the crown backwards or forward to adjust. I had twoCasio Men's MQ24-7B2 Analog Black Resin Strap Watch watches which I love for their simplicity, size and price. But within 2.5 years, both their straps broke and one of the batteries died. I was using them sequentially, not in parallel. As much as I love them, getting a new one or new parts every year seemed wasteful. Not necessarily the cost ($5 to $10) but wasting resources. So what drew me to this model is the promise of a 10 year battery. The MQ24s come with a standard 3 year battery promise. The strap on this one feels sturdier and is thicker than the MQ24 but only time will tell how long the strap and battery will last. I will try to update this after a couple of years. This is the MW600F which is available in multiple colors. There are also slightly different designs that are part of the MW600 series. Given that the date does not change automatically, this may turn off some people from getting the design with the date. Some of the other MW600 designs don't have a date. Just the time and nothing more! This watch has a crown and nothing else. No other buttons. So despite the date not being automatic, I am giving it five stars because of its price, simplicity, back to basics style, sturdier strap versus the MW24, and the promise of a ten year battery. Most of the MW600 series of watches are in the $15 to $20 range as of the review date.

Bought as a gift for my Dad-in-Law... won't need a battery until he's 105 years old!
We got this watch for my 95 yr old father-in-law that lives with us. He had an old Timex that wouldn't keep ticking without a new battery. Well, so many places either A) Don't want to replace batteries with purchase because they don't have the staffing with the shortages (Walmart) . -OR - B) Jewelry stores charge as much or close to it, just to replace a battery than I paid for this one; for just a year or so battery life! I don't have the time to hassle with that. That's why I got this watch. A clean, simple, analog design adjustable, comfortable, and a good big dial with a bright high-contrast face and radiant glow at night makes it easier for him to see and read with his poor eyesight. I joked with him when I ordered it that the battery is supposed to last 10 years, so we wouldn't have to change it, or just buy a new watch, until he's 105.... and I won't mind buying another to replace this one for this tough old WWII, and Korean war Navy vet.... if I am still kicking, lol.

Good basic watch
I chose this model as an everyday timepiece. I was tired of picking up cheap watches 2-3 times a year (or whenever they failed). I have had a Casio in the past and liked it very much; it lasted several years and when it finally died I was given a cheap watch as a gift which started the routine of frequent replacement. I was surprised to find this one available for little more than what I was spending on "disposable" watches and liked its simple basic features. I had worn digitals for many years, since they first appeared, and when I saw this watch I liked its appearance very much. It is listed as a men's watch but is very acceptable for either gender and even most kids as the size is very moderate. The analog markings and hands contrast well with the dark blue face and the sweep second hand movement is well defined. I saw the same model with a red face which was also very attractive in another store. The date window is a bit tough to read at first. The luminosity is good but doesn't last long and there is no backlight for nighttime viewing. The most negative thing to me is the strap. Being resin it is stiff and nonbreathable. It fits well enough but removing the watch is somewhat annoying as the buckle tongue doesn't fall out of the way but tends to behave rather like a large zip tie. However, the strap can be replaced and certainly is not a problem for the price I paid. The water resistance should suffice for routine exposure like hand washing and I will be ready for a new watch by the time the 10 year battery gives up.This is a very good basic everyday watch, well worth the reasonable price.

Good straight robust daily.
Firsty, bought this for 90 year old dad. He loves it , he can easily wear it all the time as it's very comfortable, so he tells me. Wear and forget it's on. He still likes to be " trendy " so Is happy with the style as it's a younger persons looking watch. No complaints from him.

Casio 10 year watch with luminous hands
Nice looking watch although an unusual sized battery. Hard to see hands in bright light but does the job overall

Excelente Producto.

Great little watch!
I bought this watch as a working watch, So if it gets messed up I am not going to get too worried. So far it has outlived any other watch I have ever owned!! And its still going great! The strap is not comfortable and definitely needs improvement, its too hard and causes the watch to place itself where you cannot read it!
