Does what it says on the label at a very good price

I'm not an EMT/Nurse, just a lawyer who found himself in need of a nice looking, easy to read chronograph two days before a trial (STAT! pun tastefully omitted). One a little classier than opposing counsel's plastic digital sports watch. I ordered this and got it the next day, so the manufacturer has things sorted out with Amazon Prime. As for the watch, one day in it's exactly what I wanted. It looks nicer than the photograph here, and although you can tell the leather is inexpensive it doesn't feel chintzy enough that I think the strap will break any moment (or chintzy enough that I think this isn't leather at all). The buckle and case both feel solid, the face is easy to read, and the contrasting second hand allows me to check the time at a split-second glance without waiting to make sure I haven't mixed it up with the minute hand. Nor has the watch lost any time. The Prestige Medical logo is written out instead of what is shown in the photo, but for twenty-odd bucks I can't imagine why anyone would seriously complain about this. Despite being warned, though, I have to take off one star for the length of the wrist band. I'm not a big guy (5'7'' and while not as svelt as I would like, I don't carry my weight on my wrists), but the band just barely fits me. I'm not going to wear this in bed or in the shower, so I'll be taking it on and off, and with a band this short it's a bit more a project to just put this thing on than I would prefer. I can't stand elastic bands and it's not enough of a bother to convince me to buy a longer leather band, but if you don't mind elastic or you don't want to spend a minute or so each morning fiddling around just to put on your watch, I recommend you replace the band. tl;dr: Inexpensive, simple chronograph, easy to read, keeps accurate time, albeit with a rather small band for a men's watch. 11/12/2015 IFG

Rating Overall Attributes!

I start started using this watch here are some pros and cons. Band: Pro: Looks like leather, washes like plastic. Comfortable, doesn't pull hair. Cons: On the smaller side, if you have extra large wrists, this will not fit. I have a little larger than normal wrist and I have one more notch to go. Weight: Pros: Very Light, Will not fatigue hand and wrist while working. Cons: Makes that watch feel cheap, but I am used to very heavy watches. Face: Pros: Small, doesn't get in the way of hand, does not rub.. Easy to read, white back ground with red/black indicators. Military Time Included in small font under standard clock numbers. (Helpful if you are new to the profession) Cons: I prefer a larger faced watch. I feel like they could of made the face slightly larger. Sound: Pros: You know that it's working Cons: Can audibly hear the watch tick. It may drive you nuts, doesn't bother me much. It's not loud, but you can hear it in a quiet room. Setting Time: Pros: Extremely straight forward. Normal watch operation. Hold time well so far. Look: Pros: Black, Silver, White, Red Second Hand. About the best combination of colors for operation and professional look. Cons: Doesn't look like a large manly watch like I prefer, but that's not exactly watch the watch is intend for. Price: Pros: Not Overpriced. Cons: Not really a steal.

Good quality for the price

I gave this watch 5 stars because it works as well as advertised. -The watch has a very low profile(its thin), so you don't have to worry about it getting in the way of your job. - The band is leather and strong. It has yet to develop that crease that happens when you wear it over time. -The face is easy to read, and has military time -Doesn't have a loud "tick" If your looking for a good watch to use as a nurse, i think this is a good buy.

An Older Version?

The watch that I received wasn't the same as the one in the picture. After talking to Prestige Medical, they believe that I could've gotten an older watch face. The symmetry of the face on this watch wasn't perfect either, as I found it to be off by a few degrees. Nevertheless, it works for the job that I purchased it for. It also fits my wrist really well.

This was purchased at the request, and for, another individual. The instrument itself works well, and is an "easy reader" as advertised, however the provision of a non cleanable and non-sanitizable watch band for a hospital of EMT environment is not practical or advisable.

I like the watch but the band is kind of cheap looking and starts to smell after wearing only once. I imagine it is from the constant hand washing. with a different band this would be great.

Nice watch. Lacks indiglo.

This would be the best watch my LPN wife has ever owned if it had indiglo. I did not take off a star for it's late delivery. It took a month to get here.
