Orange is a very uncommon dial color for E6B/slide-rule watches. This one is pretty decent. It is slightly underwhelming at this price point. Pros: - Decent slide rule! Many off-brand watches have unusable slide rule bezels; either they are difficult to rotate, they're marked imprecisely, impossible to read, etc. This one is marked clearly and accurately. UNUSUALLY, this watch has both an adjustable outer bezel and a moving inner ring. The markings for the two scales are separated by a small blank space, but it's still easy enough to read. - Usable chronograph. Like all chronos of this size, hand positions can be hard to read, but it does work. - Looks decent. The case is machined nicely and has a nice brushed steel look (except for the buttons and bezel, which are high shine). The orange really stands out. Silk-screen print is crisp and readable. Cons: - Heavy case. Much heavier than comparable Seiko, Citizen, Casio models. I recommend swapping the link band for a lighter-weight strap. The band lug is 22 mm. - Inner logarithmic scale ring has some roughness in its movement. Still practical to use, but it could be better. Feels like it might eventually break. - Slight rattling sound when moved; probably the mechanism for the slide rule knob. - For the feature set and quality point, could be cheaper. Quartz, chrono, slide rule. Compare the Casio Edifice and it seems like this watch should sell around $200.
