The bezel is so strong i can’t rotate it
Nice watch

Can't go wrong
Good watch for under a hundred. The band is no better or worst than Seiko, and worst comes to worst I can get another band. For what I paid it would be petty to complain about it, they cut cost one place to spend money on the important parts. The case is solid and you can feel it in the weight. I measured it and its pretty dam close to the submariner (taking into consideration that this one has the Seamaster bezel, which I kinda like since its a Frankenstein mix of a submariner and a seamaster giving it it's own look, not just another knock off if you see what I'm saying, it kinda is its own man in this field). any how, its close. half a millimetre hear and there. The lugs are a little out, and a little sharp right at the ends. But this is some thing that I only noticed because I OCD the watch, you don‘t feel this wile its on. The Seiko nh35a automatic movement has been keeping great time for a Japan automatic. I’m losing 8 seconds a day, and that’s not bad even by Swiss standards. That and I haven’t tuned it yet (don’t try that unless you are sure, where you tune is beside the balance wheel, bad things can happen it you mess with it). I still have space to play I could get this down to about -4 sec a day to +6. The Seiko nh35a automatic movement has been getting great reviews, that and it’s a Seiko they are the Timex of automatic. That’s the other thing for the same price you could be sporting a Timex or some other low brand watch. One other thing about the Seiko nh35a automatic movement, the other watches this has been showing up in are $300.00us and up, some as high as $600.00us. So this watch is a steal. I has a watch on for months worth 350.00 no one asked a thing, first day I wore it some one asked where to get one.

Screw down crown
Very nice looking watch for the price. Heavy feel and an automatic (self winding) movement. Have not had a chance to test it in the water. FYI- the band links have split pins should you need to remove links for sizing

QC Doubts: Limited stem functionality
The looks and feel of the watch are as expected - clean design and heft to the whole watch. Disappointment ensued when it was found the crown does not fully extend in its loosened position - only allowing time adjustment and limited date change capabilities. The effective stem length does not allow the crown to extend enough beyond the threaded barrel to allow consistent date adjustment, not to mention the ability to hand wind the watch! [See update below] The movement (NH35A) is equivalent to the Seiko 4R35 - so, should have the same capabilities with the expected Seiko quality and endurance. Once energized from cycling the watch (like a non-hand winding automatic watch), the movement is well within specifications at between -4 and +1 seconds/day. There is no play in the weight of the automatic mechanism (usually due to loose tolerances on the ball race). Next question: will it still prevent water ingress? Jan. 14, 2017: Update Rectified the problem with the crown. The spring-loaded crown was seized in its 'inner' position - possibly from initial assembly when crown was tightened too much. The main part of the stem cannot retract into the watch, so the crown pushes further until stuck! Gently cycling the crown in its outer position, it slowly loosened to its regular functionality. Still an issue for the final assembly and QC department at Invicta. 3 stars remain for that reason.

Great value with a quality finish
My first automatic... Surprisingly, it survived 18 hours sitting idle after which it was still running, so my biggest fear of having to set the time every time i wear a different watch was handled. It was a struggle to get the links out for adjustment (compared to any Seiko or Casio), had to get a watch repair person to do it for me. In my opinion, the luminous hands were easy to see, better than a Casio but not as good as a Seiko. the watch band is high quality and doesn’t move around much (making an annoying sound which my SKA605 makes). For any first-timer like me, you have to un-screw the crown and it will pop-out a little after which you can pull it to step 1 and step 2... Invicta should really mention this in the manual too. clasp has a safety lock which is very hard, but hopefully it will loosen up after a few months.

Great watch for the price!
I really like this watch. It looks a lot more expensive than it really is. It looks just like a Rolex Submariner, the size is perfect for my wrist. No too big or too small. The links were hard to get out for adjustment. Once I finally got it adjusted by my local jeweler for an extra $12 it now is in my daily wear category. I like the automatic winding function. I have a Citizen Eco-Drive also, so I was used to not winding my watch daily. All in all it is well worth the price. It comes in a very nice heavy yellow box that looks expensive to make as well. They should have made a cheaper box and put more into the band, IMHO.

Impressive for this price point
First time for me to try this brand, didnt really know what to expect, but i am impressed when i got the piece. Its very affordable, yes, but its got proper quality for a proper mechanical watch. The automatic movement is the one that really won me over, very smooth run. The case and band links are also solid, unlike others that are "hollow" to the feel. Good weight on it, and feels good to the wrist. The unidirectional bezel is also tight and accurately aligned to the minute markers. Nice display window at the back, and secure double clasps. Its got the basics of a good mechanical, without having to break the bank. Looks good too, with clean clear dial and with that shinny stainless steel. Good daily use alternative, instead of exposing the swiss pieces too often.

If you want a cheap watch with automatic movement then this is the watch to buy.
Hi, I was very reluctant about buying this watch after reading a lot of bad things about it but it turned out good so far. I bought one 9094OB to myself and a 17039 to my brother. The watch looks really good and the movement works fine so far. The luminous is not so bright and the is not of the best quality but what do you expect from a product of this price. The only reason I bought this was because of it's movement. All in all a good buy so far! We'll see. I'll update this if there is something wrong with this or the watch i bought to my brother.Invicta Men's 17039 Pro Diver Analog Display Automatic Silver Watch

a sun dial
A sun dial would be more accurate than this watch, 5 months after buying, and it's losing 1 min a day. My life is just flying by.

Great watch
This is the third Invicta that i have purchased. This one was brought as an Xmas gift so all i can say is that my son in law loved it. My Pepsi dial version is very good and is pretty accurate for an automatic. I also got a Grand Diver from Santa....All i can say is its a chunk of watch. For the cost, these watches are value for money. Recommended.

Quality, quality, quality!!
Came across the Invicta range of watches by accident! I immediately liked the style but reviews of the earlier year models ran down the wrist band quality. This is the 2018 model and the band quality issue has been sorted! The bezel was initially very stiff to turn, but after a dunk in soapy water (while doing the washing up!) it now turns freely without too much effort. I've got big hands and wrists but still needed to have one link removed. A final adjustment on the pin holes and it fits perfectly. I left the watch off last weekend and was pleased to see the watch was still running on Monday morning. No need to set the time and do a manual wind! I actually prefer wearing this to my Omega Seamaster. It has a slightly bigger dial, 40mm compared to the Omega 37mm. I've had none of the problems with the screw down crown thats been mentioned in other reviews.
