Wall Clock Gift
I would have given this product 5 stars had the "wood" been actual hard wood. It is beautiful in appearance . The hands and the face of the clock add to the beauty of it. It was a Christmas gift and the recepient was very pleased with it. This time piece keeps excellent time. Newsong77

A few complaints: - The color of the stain on the frame is quite a bit darker than pictured. Still pretty, but definitely a dark cherry finish. - The second hand ticks quite loudly. It's quiet enough where you won't notice it unless you consciously listen for it, but definitely still very audible. - The second hand is red. I didn't think this would bother me until I hung it in my baby blue room. That being said, this is a beautiful clock. It is a great size: relatively small, but still easy to read from across the room. The dark wood and brass bezel look very rich, while the cream background, fancy text, and ornate hands give the clock a very elegant and classic look. It's the kind of clock I would imagine being in a beautiful old library. To top it all off, it seems to keep time perfectly. This is about as nice as new, round, AA battery operated wall clocks get.

Great looking clock & an excellent value for your money.
This clock has style and class! The 'Cherry' frame goes beautifully with my antique cherry desk and side table. The gold ring and the filigreed hour & minute hands add a touch of elegance. I highly recommend this clock, the overall effect is lovely & the large, clear numbers are very easy to read eve from a from considerable distance. As to the comments about this clock being made in China and not the USA, my guess is that this clock was originally in the USA, but it is now manufactured in China. I imagine it is extremely difficult to keep up with all the changes to the thousands of products listed on Amazon.I f you want perfection, then it will a considerable amount more. I buy American whenever possible and, if reasonably affordable ( I will pay a little more), but there are few if any Americans, who will work for less than $1.00 an hour.

Howard Miller Brentwood Wall Clock
Am not really pleased with this clock due to its facial appearance. The numerals 5, 6, 7 are larger than the others which make it appear bottom heavy when viewed from below. This was not readily apparent when pictured here on Amazon. Unfortunately, it is too late for me to return the item. On the plus side: it appears to be a very well made clock, quality consistent with some of their other products I have owned. But it is an expensive clock at $56.00 and does not look as traditional in my traditional kitchen as I expected.

Simply Beautiful....
I absolutely love this clock. I have it in my Kitchen and the redwood frame matches my woodwork. It has a beautiful face with a red minute hand. It keeps perfect time. I would buy this clock again if I had another room to put it in. I love beautiful cooks. I have a grandfathers clock in the living room which I am most proud of, but this one stands out on my Kitchen wall and everyone notices it and comments how beautiful it is. Don't hesitate to purchase this beauty. You will love it too....

This clock fits in perfectly in my kitchen. It goes nicely with the pine-planked wall flanked by the copper. It's simple and traditional. Numbers are large. The ticking is very low so as not to be disturbing.

It's a wall clock. I could have gotten one that looked just like it for much less, but I appreciate the cherry-like finish and the style of the hands (I'm sure there's a name for them in clock terms).

Smaller than I thought...
... However, still a good size. It is well fitted for an apartment /condo, not giant like other clocks that you can only display in a house. Well crafted, beautiful colours, simple, yet elegant, I really like it. Arrived very fast.
