Stunning and Beautiful ! I love this Grand Divers Watch with its incredibly accurate AUTOMATIC Seiko NH35A Movement
I absolutely LOVE this Invicta Grand Diver Watch Model Number 3047. I am new to the Invicta Enthusiast Movement. This past Christmas I received my first Invicta Big Faced Watch from my son. It was a Stainless Steel Watch with Blue and Black face and bezel (Model Number 20478). I LOVED having a Big Faced Watch at that point and within the past 2 months, I have purchased 3 more Invicta Big Faced Watches and love each one. I now have a total of 4 Invicta watches and I will most likely be buying more. They are just such beautiful machines that I love wearing. This Stainless Steel Automatic Grand Diver Model 3047 with its Green Bezel and Black face is so stunning. The contrasting colors make reading the time on this watch a breeze. It is not cluttered with intrusive designs or dials and it is not too big at 47mm. With that being said, it is much larger than any Timex or Casio or Seiko that I have ever owned yet I have 2 more Invicta's that are actually larger at 50mm. This Model 3047 has a 47mm case. So it is a little bit smaller than my others. The magnifier on on the dial window is an addition that is much appreciated as you get older. The dial window is made of a durable Mineral Crystal. The hands and time indicator marks have a luminescence that actually does glow in the dark. Unlike many other watches that I've owned. The band bracelet was very easily sized with very inexpensive tools that you can obtain over the internet sites. I re-sized my watch band myself and I am not a jeweler or watch repair person. It came out perfect with no struggle at all. The Green color is not loud, vivid or trendy. It is quite classy and adds just a splash of color to subdue any boringness that become the norm with the run-of-the-mill ordinary silver add black watch that everyone has. The Stainless Steel watch case is has a partial satin finish and a partial polished mirror finish. The case has the really cool Divers Helmet molded into the stainless steel case at both the top and bottom. This signifies that it really is a genuine divers watch and is capable of withstanding dive depths of approximately 1000 feet. Although most of us will never dive to those depths and the rest of us will never dive at all, the dive depth rating signifies the durability of this watch. And we “all” want a product that is as durable and tough as possible. This watches bracelet is another work of art. The center links have a mirror polished finish and the outer links have a satin finish. Very Classy and contrasty. I Love It ! The Green Bezel actually does rotate in one direction only. This is to monitor air supply for the real divers that use this watch for its actual intended purpose. There are videos and instructions all over the internet that explain how to use a watch bezel. Very easy. My VERY Favorite feature of this watch is that it incorporates the VERY RELIABLE and very accurate Japanese made Automatic Seiko Movement – The Seiko Movement Model Number is: NH35A – Yes this watch has the beautiful styling of Invicta and it also has the reliable Seiko Movement.....In case you didn't know, an Automatic Movement never needs a battery replacement because it does not operate on battery power. The motion and movement of your wrist is what winds this accurate watch up. You can also wind the watch by hand by turning the crown. So I guess you can consider it a hybrid ? I'm not sure, but that makes sense to me. Speaking of the incredible Seiko Automatic Movement, the watch manufacturer did not want to hide this special feature from you or your admirers, so engineered into the back of the watch is an Exhibition Back which actually has a window on the back of the case to view the decorated yellow pendulum swinging back and forth to wind your watch. Again, no boringness here. Lots to look at and admire about your new watch. Another very nice feature of this beautiful watch is that it has a screw down crown. This is one of the reasons it is rated to dive so deep. Because screwing down the crown stem actually seals things up more effectively than pressing it in. With this watch, you can actually stop the second hand so that you can adjust the time to the exact second. This Grand Divers watch with its black face and green bezel is not heavy at all. In fact, it wears so much more comfortably than any of my lightweight and small Timex watches. Yes it is much larger and much heavier than your normal sized watch, but the way the case and high quality bracelet was engineered makes for a very comfortable fit and the weight and size is actually un-noticable. I am NOT a large man. My wrist diameter is 7 inches to 7 and a half inches. So I have attached pictures of this watch and what it looks like on my 7 to 7.5 inch wrist. In my opinion, it fits and looks perfectly. The style these days is the Big Faced Watch. So this size is very attractive. Wear this Beautiful Watch with a pair of jeans or wear it with a Black Suit to a business Meeting or a Wedding. This is a stunning piece of jewelry. Hopefully I have addressed all of your concerns or questions that you may have had. In case I may have missed something, I have added a few pictures to my review so that you can see exactly what the product I have received is like without viewing some modified, or professionally photo-shopped images that make the product appear like more than what you will receive. These attached pictures are raw out of my point-and-shoot camera with no editing at all. So enjoy ! Can you please do me a favor ? If you have simply enjoyed reading my review or If my attached pictures and description has helped you in any way, could you PLEASE mark my review as "Helpful" please. I would REALLY Appreciate that and it helps encourage me to keep writing reviews of my purchases… Thanks :-) . . .

Great and functional watch at awesome price
I think some of these reviews are for the pro diver or a different model even. Im reviewing the Grand Diver 47mm Model #3044. First off this watch has a screw down crown and compared to other more expensive diver watches I have this crown is positive, smooth and secure. Although it wouldn't be my top choice it's definitely dive worthy! I oiled the bezel and it moves much smoother yet stays in place. Not something all dive watches do. I took it on a 140ft fresh water dive without any issues at all. It did its job and was easily visible at this depth. I then took it on a 60ft ocean dive which I was more skeptical due to material it's made of but again I had no problem. It's definitely a work horse and I'm impressed. So is it a real dive watch? Yes it is! It's sealed very well. Would I wear and rely on it for continuous use? Probably not but I'll let ya know ????

Looks like the expensive brand
Have had this watch for several months. No problems and keeps time. Band is easy to use a the watch is not too big on the wrist so it looks just like those expensive watches your friends, or kids, wear. No one will know unless the get a close up view. Be snobby at an affordable price!

low price, heavy, statement piece. mid quality, not a diver watch. I dont dive.
easy band to adjust. heavy (I like that) large diameter, I like that too. the bezel band barely moves with force, terrible for diving, but good for people like me who like the look of a diver watch - real divers are too easy to move, and it moving bothers me, as its not lined up. the date bubble is strong - I have bad eyes, so thats good. only had it a week, so its obviously still accurate. good value for a chinese watch with a japanese movement. great price - under 150 american. not worth more, really. again, not a real divers watch, but a real diver would know that.

MUCH better looking than the photos!!
This one of the lowest priced Invictas and arguably the best value for a watch on all of Amazon. The photos in the Amazon description are not very accurate. The watch is far better looking in person. The bezel color is a deep lustrous cobalt blue. The watch face while not as pearlescent as a real Rolex is also a deep indigo or cobalt blue depending on which way the light reflects off it. The closest photo to real was taken by a reviewer named Santi and can be found at the top of the reviews under "Reviews with images". One of the earlier photos show that the bezel color used to have green in it. No longer. The current shade is that perfect cobalt blue, contrasted by gold (painted) numbers. I have a medium large wrist. Just slightly above average. I took two links out and came in one pin on the bracelet adjustment. Do NOT buy a plastic resizer. I bought one and threw it out so you don't have to. I did also buy this resizer tool which worked perfectly, first time. No bent pins. https://www.amazon.com/Selizo-Watch-Remover-Removal-Sizing/dp/B07H5F43N3/ref=pd_sbs_7/132-91 I add a drop of BLUE or Purple Loctite to the end of ANY pin I remove and then put back in place. The movement is NOT Seiko or Japanese. Those movements alone cost over $100. The movement in the watch is a CLONE of a Japanese movement with 100% made in China parts assembled in Malaysia in open rooms full of outside dust. How much dirt you have in your movement depends on the weather that day. How well it keeps time is a crap shoot. My first Invicta, a SS 40mm Submariner clone had a filthy movement and could only be adjusted to be a minute slow each DAY. The cost to clean and correct that is more than the cost of the watch. I didn't like the watch anyways. Too small. I got lucky with this Grand Diver. It seems about only 15 or 20 seconds slow per day. Much better. You don't have the movements cleaned after several years. You use the watch until it fails, and then purchase a brand new one. Tips to keep your watch looking nice. A Rolex can withstand massive abuse and neglect and be polished out like new (for a price $$$). Once the gold plating it worn off or scratched on these INVICTAS, time to purchase a new one. BUT, if you don't wear it in your sleep or shower with it, or wear it while working on your car, it can last. WASH your watch. Human sweat and oils can be quite caustic to Invictas. ESPECIALLY plated versions like this. I WASH my watch in running hot(ish) water every couple of days. Every surface. Use diluted dish detergent. No need for a brush if washed regularly. I just use my fingers. rinse well and BLOT dry with a good paper towel like VIVA. Do NOT rub dry and polish with microfiber. That action will only scratch and wear the finish faster. Blot with a high quality paper towel. The hot water helps dry the entire watch also. SPIN the bezel when washing occasionally or it will collect dirt and debris and freeze up. Trust me. I have been doing this to inexpensive, plated watches successfully for many years.

It's a bit pinchy round the clasp
Invicta is the BMW new mini of the watch world. Some people look at them as a bodged remake of a psychopaths dream come true. Lots of watch monsters hate the gaudy way the name Invicta finds itself written... No no... Emblazoned indelibly all over it in a sweetly shameless fiet of legacy accurate narcissism. I personally prefer to use the word knavishness... Whatever that means. It arrived in THE BOX. (Invicta's calling card) Not canary yellow this time however (which I was hoping for) this one was a really lovely slightly yellow tinged tasteful grey with an oyster topped, grey sunburst lid. With Invicta naturally written no... Graffitied on an embossed sign on the side, in Canary yellow, instead. The watch is adorable. Okay so the lugs look like they were fine detailed (grained) by a 2 year old with a brick, but really that is all I have against the time piece. I love the second hand (nearly accurate) I love it's look and I love it's style. I also love the no messing 200 meter water resistance. This is one of Invictas grown up diver Pro's. So it'll be useful in the bath and the pool. Not the ocean though. This is a fresh water diver. Now we come to the bracelet (you may have noticed I changed the strap) the bracelet is only really suitable for people who enjoy cutting chunks out of their own flesh. It was quite thoughtfully tramp stamped in places only sand might think of hiding again with the word Invicta, in a jingly jangly blood ridden trip to the psych ward... Well... if people care enough to phone the doctor... But we know the truth however, these days there are few that really care. Once you have changed the strap to something NATO and threatening it's just plane better. you will find that you have an almost perfect daily watch as the little scratches you pick up won't be noticeable (because of the brick wielding 2 year olds.) The truth is. I have completely fallen in love with this time piece and at the price point it's probably the best deal on Amazon. Had to take a star away for the clasps, scars and the strange looks you get on the bus as you find yourself on the way to the Emergency Room. But I wear this nearly every day and I've become very fond of it. Oh and the lume has a great sense of humour. It would like to glow in the dark, but it's kinda lazy, not wanting to keep itself or me awake. I honestly I don't care. I love this watch.

Brilliant value for money!
Bought with some Christmas money to replace a Citizen Eco-Drive solar powered watch that I've had for about 15 years, but had finally given up the ghost (who knew that these actually have a capacitor in them which eventually wears out. Defeats the Eco object really!) In view of this I determined I really wanted a fully mechanical Automatic watch. Looked at loads of reviews of watches both on Amazon and lots of other websites. Seiko kept coming up as highly recommend and this Invictor Grand Diver uses one of their best movements. I like Diver style watches and this has the classic Rolex look but without the price tag! If you are a 'watch snob' then you probably won't be interested but you'll be missing out, the quality and accuracy for a watch of this price is outstanding! It gains no more than about 3.5 minutes a month when worn every day, better (according to some 'watch buff' reviews), than a Rolex. I have an desk job so not much movement during the day, but I do walk a fair bit and am quite active outside of 'office hours' and it's never varied in the 5 months I've had it. I particularly like the 'Cyclops' date magnifier as I've always had problems making out the dates on watches even with my glasses on, particularly when you just glance at them. This is not a problem any longer and I can easily tell the date with just a quick look. I also like the fact that it has a 'hacking' movement, which means the second-hand can be stopped to aid synchronisation when setting the time. Many automatic watches do not seem to offer this feature, even some costing many times more than this one. The glass seems to have shrugged of scratches up till now and I wear it all the time, even when spannering on my motorcycles. Ok, now the potential 'downsides', they aren't for me but these are things that the potential buyer ought to be aware of. As other reviews have said, it's a BIG HEAVY watch. I have 7.25 inch wrists, so not huge by any means, and it still sits well and doesn't look stupidly big, which was something I was a little concerned about. The edges of the case curve nicely to 'wrap' around the wrist, which helps to minimise the scale overall. The watch face itself is exactly what I was hoping for, I wanted a simple, clear design and a size which allowed you to see the time clearly at a glance without tiny minute marks and clutter from useless small dials, perfect. More of a surprise was the weight, it is HEAVY, you wouldn't want to drop this on your bare foot! Now I personally got used to this fairly quickly and after a couple of weeks didn't really pay much attention to it during normal use. I am still reminded of it's weight when I first pick it up each morning though, but I kinda like the sense of wearing something that feels like it could shrug off a nuclear blast! However, if that's not you, then you may struggle with this aspect more than anything. The depth of the case is probably the other thing I was surprised about and is something I notice more than the overall size. It is thick and stands quite a way off the wrist as a result and can catch in things if you're trying to work in confined spaces like on a car or motorcycle. Personally, I just take it off if I know that's going to be the case, but again something to bear in mind. In conclusion, if you are not a 'watch snob', like the style and thought of a big, chunky, extremely well made and accurate timepiece, then do not hesitate and just buy it. It looks even better 'in the flesh' than it does in the pictures and you are very unlikely to be disappointed.

Show me a better watch for £44??!
I have been collecting watches for many years now and have a range costing from £50 all the way up to £3500. Invicta have interested me a a while but their watches always seemed to be around the £100 mark and for that price you can get a much better branded watch - Seiko, Citizen, etc... When I saw this for £44 I pulled the trigger and I have to say I am really impressed. Comes with 2 year warranty and and extra year if you register. Cannot fault it one bit. Maybe in a few months I maybe saying otherwise, but for now its going to be my daily wear.

CHEAP NASTY WATCH NOT WORTH BUYING.
Likes: The watch arrived on time in full original packaging. It looks OK, although the dial is a bit smaller than I anticipated. It seems accurate and I have not really tested its waterproofness. Dislikes: The position on the crown to change the date is a bit hit or miss, not a nice positive "click". The luminosity of the hands and face are very disappointing and would be useless to a diver in dark waters. Second Review: I bought this watch in September 2019 and you can see from the above review that I was disappointed with the quality when it came out of the box, although it looked OK. Now in March 2020, only six months later the winding crown fell off making the watch useless. I cannot recommend this watch to anyone, it is a cheap immitation of something or other and overpriced at that. DO NOT BUY ONE,
