Great for curly hair

Read about this oil from a magazine. This is the second time I bought it Has gone up in price (allot) but I think its worth it as you dont have to use allot on your hair. I have curly hair and I put it on when my hair is wet. Seems to keep the curls tight and has a nice luster to it. Also can use on your skin and curticles.

High shine. Low grease. Mild, classy fragrance.

The Oribe gold lust is exactly what I was looking for in a hair oil. It’s heavy but not greasy, so it really shines and smooths your tresses without giving you bacne (back acne). Now I can wear my long hair down proudly without worrying that I’ll look like I just emerged from jungle warfare, or that I doused a can of grease over my head that flattens and clumps my hair. With Oribe, my hair can retain its body while also being silky enough I can run my fingers through it and see movement and life in it. It’s also got an alluring mild scent that doesn’t make my fragrance-allergic husband sneeze like other products do. Both of us love it.

soft not greasy!

this stuff is amazing! it doesnt make my hair greasy at all, my hair drinks this up and stays soft pretty much all day! great for flayaways and frizz! also doesnt leave my hands oily!

No scent

YouTuber Dr. Dray described this hair oil as basically perfume for your hair. I was intrigued mostly by that because I’ve heard about this brand of shampoos and conditioners since before the pandemic, but couldn’t justify the cost of any of those. Dr. Dray is a board licensed dermatologist and is usually a stickler about staying away from scented products. But she sang the praises of this hair oil for keeping her hair soft and worth the splurge, that I bought it. There is NO SCENT. I don’t know if this stuff goes bad sitting around, and the scent gets weaker. I just don’t know. I bought it primarily to find out what this gorgeous scent was everyone talks about with this brand and it was a bust. I even had my husband open the bottle as well as smell my dried hair after use. He said he smelled something. But it was very light. Not bad but not hair perfume at all. For all we knew, it could have been vegetable oil. I’m not saying it is, but yeah—talk about being bummed with this purchase. And I agree with someone else’s assessment of the pump on the bottle feeling fairly cheap for a product this bougie. The gold and black plastic bottle is “painted” beautifully, but that cheap plastic cap and pump ruin everything. I almost spilled precious oil trying to get that cap off. The actual product did leave my hair feeling the slightest bit soft and healthy. Not shiny or greasy. So that’s a bonus. Maybe quality control would be better ordering directly from Oribe. But even on their own website there are reviews from customers who’s first time experience with the brand left them baffled they couldn’t smell the oil OR longtime customers who swear the scent had become weaker with each subsequent purchase and maybe the formula has changed. Glad for all of the people who are loving this product. Because those of us who received “duds” really feel the bite of this purchase.

No more frizz & amazing shine!

I have shoulder-length blonde hair extensions that are dyed, in addition to a keratin treatment. Though my hair is finally on its way to being healthy, I suffered from severe damage and breakage for a long time after years of heat styling my hair and bleaching it light. I've tried every popular product you can think of, some in the hundreds of dollars. So believe me when I say that this oil is worth the money and should be purchased by anybody with damaged, frizz-prone, unruly hair that needs a pick-me-up! I use Oribe Gold Lust Shampoo & Conditioner in addition to the hair oil, but the hair oil is by far the most effective product in my routine. This stuff smells like a salon product and goes on lightweight. It doesn't have a greasy feel or weigh my hair down, which is nice because I have thin hair that picks up grease quite easily. I use it on my hair when it's wet and dry and it makes it so soft, manageable, and frizz-free whether I air-dry or heat-style. It also gives hair an incredible shine — they aren't kidding calling it "gold lust" because my blonde hair literally looks like shiny gold after styling it when I use this. This is a holy grail must-have product for anybody with hair struggles!

Excellent smoothing power!

Oribe products never disappoint. I have Long fine hair and with humidity in the air it frizzes a little. I use The super shine styling creme out of the shower and blow dry. Then, I style And take this oil mix it through my fingers and run it through my whispy ends and it is perfect!

I use it on my hair. It’s the best hair product . It doesn’t make the hair oily and the hair absorb the oil right away.

Decent product, horrendously cheap spray bottle

Product is actually pretty good, but for the price you’d expect the bottle it comes in to at least be usable. The doesn’t work most of the time, and the oil will just drip along the side of the bottle.

Holy Grail!

I'm speechless at how amazing this product works, with one single application it blew off my mind how soft and smooth is my hair now, every winter my hair gets pretty dry, and I have been trying other products with no results, but man this product is the best one Ive ever try, worth every penny! I would highly recommend it!

I use ORIBE all the time and I love it. I tried olaplex because it was cheaper. Big mistake. ORIBE is literally hair gold. Don't make my mistake. Buy it to start.
