Takes Time to Assemble/Beware of Cheap Zippers

This storage unit was very time consuming to assemble. The cardboard pieces did not want to fit into the tight compartments. Had to wrestle with them. The zippers are cheap and one broke immediately. The concept is a good one but wish it was of better quality.

Well designed, semi rigid, water repellent tent fabric gift wrap storage will hold HUGE amounts of rolls and bows and tags!

If I could give this 4.5 stars I would, but I cannot, so I must give 5. I'll explain..... I have looked far and wide for a wrapping paper container that will store the long and short rolls (up to 40") and it is almost impossible to find any that hold a sufficient amount, unless you fork over an arm and a leg. Now, I'll be up front and say I would really love this even more if it were made out of hard plastic (and held the same amount), but then it would be ridiculously expensive and shipping would be almost impossible. As it is, this rolling storage bag is made out of a poly-fiber material akin to camping tent fabric and does repel water. Why my water issue? Well, I keep my Christmas supplies in the basement and a few years ago I had some pipes burst and I lost all my decorations, not to mention much more valuable things. Anyway, that personal issue aside, this rolling storage bag is BIG! I mean BIG! You have two separate sides to put wrapping materials in. One half holds your wrapping paper (and it has straps so you can secure them in place, just like a piece of luggage). I don't know what the maximum amount of rolls is, but I can tell you I have gotten roughly 20 rolls into that one side. Then there is the other side which has velcro on it. Why? Well, because there are two really nice sized - and deep - zippered with see-through mesh on top - containers that you can put your bows or ribbon in - thus avoiding getting them smashed. Additionally, there is a mesh pocket on this side that will hold quite a few gift bags (up to a decent medium/large bag) AND there is an additional "flap bag" (my name) that can hold your labels, tags, and other flat things, etc. One of the great things about this bag is that it DOES have wheels on one side, so you can move it around easily. Now I'm a big guy, but trying to move a bag/box of wrapping paper horizontally poses a disastrous challenge regardless. With the straps, etc. you can move this semi rigid bag around with relative ease. Also it's much easier to store upright than lying down. Now here is the one rub - it's minor in the grand scheme of things: I'm sure it's to hold down manufacturing/consumer costs as well as shipping costs...but putting the semi-rigid bag together is a bit of a pain. It's not difficult, it's just a bit time consuming - it took me about thirty minutes because the bag wanted to move about as I installed the cardboard and plastic inserts (which are all very ingeniously separated in their own zippered pockets). Because this semi rigid and you don't HAVE to put together the bow boxes, you could simply fill this thing up with all your wrapping paper and I suspect it will hold over 50 rolls. (We have an odd tradition in the family and that is that we hit the Hallmark Store the day after Christmas and buy as much wrapping paper as possible - so we need something like this!)

Holds a lot, difficult to carry

I purchased two of these, as we have a *lot* of gift wrap that was poorly organized - probably how we ended up with so much in wrapping supplies. I ended up dividing my wrap into holiday/non holiday, and painting the word "holiday" on one of them to differentiate, as there's no way to label the bag on the outside. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase, as all of my wrapping supplies are organized together and easy to find. Pros: I love that it can hold long rolls of wrapping paper - I have quite a few, so this was useful. It swallows a lot of bags/boxes/ribbon/tissue on the side opposite the rolls, and separates them well so that they don't spill out when opening the bag. Cons: The assembly for the box was somewhat tedious, and the cardboard needed to be curved/bent to fit into the panels. There is only one handle at the top (to enable rolling) - this means that it's best if it's stored on the same level of the house as you're going to be using it. I'm currently storing wrapping supplies in my basement, and the lack of a handle on either the sides or the bottom means that I had to struggle to carry it down the stairs. One of the zippers was sewn poorly for one of the inner boxes, meaning that the zipper can't go all the way around. Luckily it has two zipper heads, so I can still zip it closed. Poor sewing seems to be a common complaint - I'm glad I didn't have one that was so poor that I had to return it.

Definitely a winner and worth the price!

I was in desperate need of finding a good quality storage unit to house all of my wrapping supplies as I have been using the plastic totes and gift wrap containers for years -which make it a chore to dig out every time it comes to wrapping gifts- (not to mention the storage space they take up.) After looking at multiple units on line, I ran across this one and it sounded like it would fit my needs for the amount of supplies I have. At first, I was a little hesitant based on the price, but by reading the reviews, I figured I would give it a try- being able to return it if it did not work out. Let me tell you-I am SO GLAD this was the one I decided to go with! I was able to fill this with the contents of one of those hard plastic gift containers (approx 25 rolls) and two medium size plastic totes full of gift boxes, bows, gift bags, labels and all the other needed essentials for gift wrapping plus with room to spare- and the best part is, with the handle and wheels, it is easy to transport from room to room. Now when it comes time for gift wrapping, all of my supplies are contained in one organized place- no more hunting for the tape or gift wrap cutter. I WISH I HAD FOUND THIS YEARS AGO- NO MORE STORAGE TOTES! The unit came requiring assemble and at first, it took me a second to figure out that step #1 of the instructions had already been performed prior to shipping, but after that, the assembly was pretty painless going together in just a few minutes. The cardboard inserts give it structure and keep it light weight- would have been a little nicer with plastic inserts, but that doesn't really take away from the quality- still an A+ item in my book!! I would definitely recommend this storage bag for anyone with a lot of gift wrapping supplies even it the price seems a little high- the quality and convenience of having all of your items organized together is worth it!

Good for organizing

Fits a lot of stuff but it isn’t all secure in place (on one side) so when you flip it over to zip and then stand it up, everything kind of goes flying around

ordered the product there was an issue with the zipper called into customer service and they stated to send back the damaged part and they would send me a new one - however product overall is excellent
