Quality Belt and A Good Fit on an 'Vintage' Ariens Snow Blower
This is the correct Auger/Wheels drive belt on my vintage '67 Ariens Snow Blower. No adjustments to the belt tensioner were necessary to use this belt. This is my second order for this belt, the previous lasting over five seasons. Replacement of the previous belt was not due to a failure, but as a cheap insurance policy against a potential slip or break failure during the Winter season.

One of the few belts that accurately fits mid 70s vintage Ariens snowblowers
This belt is precisely the right length and shape that my 1973 Ariens snowblower needed when I recently had to replace the original belt on it. I's 35.5 inches long with a v shaped,"toothed' shape on one side and a flat surface on the other. The toothed side engages the main rotor and the teeth on it guarantee it will grip very well with no slippage. And the flat side perfectly engages the clutch when it is thrown. Putting this belt and a new friction disc on the Ariens brought it back to life , where in second gear it is now hurling snow a good forty feet.

Perfect Ariens Auger belt replacement for Ariens part number 34x104
Along with the other reviewers, I own a 1967 Ariens Snow-throw with a tecumseh H60 engine and was having a hard time finding the correct belt for the auger drive. Replacement belts recommended by other vendors were for 35 or 36 inch length belts but the true/correct size is actually 35 1/2". It would be a good bit of advice to advertise this belt for use on older < 1975 Ariens snow blowers.
