I wear these daily! But a back coming off is possible...
I work with headphones sometimes, and my hair has the ability to snatch most earrings out of their holes. There are days that I've either realized one of my earrings was lost, or rescued it from my hair. I've worn these daily, and they have stayed secured. I only had one instance of one popping out, and I know I'd used a rotary facial scrubber that morning, and had included around my earrings. Well, apparently the rotary action of the scrubber unscrewed my diamond stud on one side. Thankfully I found both the stud and backing, but....whew! So! If you are looking for replacement backs, the diameter of the post is .7 mm. The length of the post is 9mm, which is a little too long. I do wish the post was a little shorter as sometimes I can feel them poking.

Side by side with the Houston district studs
I wanted to get my wife a decent set of studs. I've purchased some very high quality stones in the past, but for these i wanted to find the middle road where quality and value met. That way it wouldn't be the end of the world if she lost a set. I couldn't decided between the amazon 3/4cttw 4-prong and the Houston Diamond District 3/4cttw 3-prongs... So i bought both. The both advertise the identical specs. color: H-K carat: 3/4 clarity: I1 on the houstons, I1-i2 on the amazons Cut: "ideal" on the houstons, "good" on the amazons Certification: In-house from Houston, AGS for the amazons My observations. Basically, the pictures show much of the detail...so check em out! -The amazon ones are much more more yellow. Maybe K-L -The Houston ones seem closer to G IMO -The Cut is hard to tell. In the light, neither one has a spectacular "fire" to it, compared to my wife wedding band or her anniversary 5-stone trellis from Whiteflash -Carat. All i could do here was simply measured the diameter. Since both claimed good or ideal cuts, they should have a good depth ratio. The Houston ones measured 4.44 to 4.45mm and the Amazons were much larger at 4.58 to 4.65mm. Thats actually a significant difference. If you cut those measurements with a lose diamond website, 4.44 is consistent with a .29ct-.34ct diamond and a 4.65 is consistent with a .38ct-.41ct diamond -Fit. The Houston studs are much more flush with the ear lobe, while the amazon ones stick out A LOT. My wife definitely preferred the fit of the houston ones. -Clarity. Houston claimed I1 but thats a stretch, they Iffy on "eye clean" and look pretty dirty under camera zoom. amazon claimed I1-I2 and they are on the included side. -certification. Houston's are "in house" certified and they send a cheesy printed piece of paper thats good for starting a fire. Amazon's is NOT any better IMO, its a card from AGS stating a range of specs that is NOT specific you your stones. Its a generic card, everyone get the same card. When I've bough other stones in the past, the certification was for the exact stone you bought. so who won? I am going to give a slight edge to the Houston studs. The color, and fit were far superior. but they are losing big points as far as size making them just barely better then the amazon ones. I will be contacting Houston diamonds about that issue and may send them back. he amazon ones are being returned for sure.

Pros: Good fire/sparkle, not the best, but certainly good No blackspots Inclusions were eye visible, but the jeweler did attempt to have the prongs cover them Cons: Ever so slight yellow color There was an inclusion that could not be hidden Amazon has a way to go to make the shopping experience better (others let you pick diamonds out that go into the earrings, that's pretty cool) BUT Amazon was 25% cheaper, if they were not the value leader I would not have taken the risk With the above said, I returned this set Amazon ran a promo on the 1 cttw, I-J Color, I1-I2 Clarity earrings. Even if they did not run the promo, I was satisfied with the set and planned on giving to my wife as gift. I was happy with was how well the description matched. What I was really stuck on: I1-I2 vs VS1-VS2, and after looking around I say: save your money and take a risk on 11-I2 clarity for earrings, holding the diamonds about 2-3 feet away, I was hard pressed to spot the inclusions. Since I'm not a jeweler and neither is my wife, I think well be in good shape :) The color I was able to tell, but it was EVER so slight, overall solid value.

Buyer Beware
Under the product specifications the certificate type is listed as AGS. Next to GIA (one of the largest and most trusted gemological laboratory is the world) AGS is the next best option for trusted, consistent and accurate grading. It was for this reason I chose this purchase. When I received the diamonds, they were accompanied by a grading certificate from "Independent Laboratories" not AGS. I have not heard of them and when I did a google search for "reputable diamond grading laboratories", they never came up. They do have a web site. And I was able to pull the report from their web site using the report # on the certificate that came with the diamonds. Botton line...I bought this item because the seller indicated they used AGS to certify the diamonds but instead I got diamonds graded by a Labatory I could find very little information on and was NOT AGS as advertised.

Very happy with this purchase. Glad I didn’t let negative reviews sway me.
The reviews on these earrings made me nervous. I even tried to cancel after the fact, but since it was an Amazon Day deal, it was already being prepared to ship. I figured if the inclusions were too obvious, or the stones were too yellow, I’d return them. How pleasantly surprised I was when I received them. Gorgeous! I used a loop on them as soon as I pulled them out of the box. The inclusions are small and only seen under magnification. The color is very slight. All in all, I’m very happy!

Lovely diamonds presented well.
Got these for a significant other and she totally loves them. I am pleased. The backing clamp is white gold too and the screw gives you peace of mind. Additionally, you get a certificate on a card telling what you actually own. Which is a good touch. We road tripped all of california. She wore them a lot and they stood up to the rigours. Overall, we are very happy to discover this product, is a lovely pair. I have asked my girl to get them out for the lads. She got them out for the lads. Everyone was commenting on how nice they are. Great set. So pleased I went with amazon.

Grabbed these beauties for a steal
Bought these on a whim when they were priced under £50. Thought they were too good to be true. But they are perfect. In fact I have worn these everyday since they arrived. Absolutely love them.

Good, if Amazon sends you new earrings.
No tags, no certificate. Studs had cut off small pieces of paper on them. Looked at the magnifying glass at the studs and noticed some tiny dark hair stuck on it - gross. The biggest diamond surface looked dirty on both until I wiped it. Never bought jewelery in such condition before.... Update: Got a replacement from Amazon. It had tags, certificate. The stone weight was a bit smaller - original earrings had 0.85 ct and new set had only 0.72 ct. However clarity is much better,so I'm quite happy.

No certificate of authenticity
The diamond earrings were purchased from Amazon Collection in NYC. The diamond earrings were received in a cheap cardboard box and they were loose and not even mounted on the front part of the box. Most importantly, there was NO certificate of authenticity. In 2018 I purchased similar earrings from MLG Jewelry on Amazon and they came in a nice box complete with certificate of authenticity.
