The first unit that I received was only a 2-nozzle unit. I decided to see if it would still work to the level I bought it for, and one nozzle merely dribbled immediately, the second one shortly after. Was one nozzle defective and the other clogged by a tiny particle? The description also says "comes with 2 interchangeable misting heads. Neither of the units that I received came with a second misting nozzle head. Perhaps the 3 nozzle head units were the ones missing. It's another inaccurate product description Who knows? There is no tiny wire cleaning brush included to clean any nozzle that gets clogged, and there is no mesh particulate screen anywhere upstream from the nozzles. These nozzle ports are so small (.012 based on their nozzles sold separately, which appear to be a universal size) this is just asking for clogging, and they must know this. This is why the sell separate filters (presently $13.99) to install downstream in the hose to prevent calcium and other particles from clogging the tiny ports of the nozzles. These will clog over time and esp with mineralized or "hard" water. STILL, there should be a small, gasket mounted mesh filter included. I bought some hose screens separately. By removing the provided gasket (the mesh screen insert has its own built-in gasket). It does not fit near the head of the nozzle housing, but did down where it connects to the garden hose This took just enough room up that it would not screw onto the hose without a dribble at the connection. So I bought some plumbers PTFE thread seal tape and this solved that problem. There are no instructions to make sure a hose that has been sitting awhile be flushed out. This is obvious in hindsight, like so many other things, but homeowners but most first time users probably are not going to think about this. This is asking for a lower durability rating than its potential, which should be 5 stars by all appearances. Also, this unit was made for areas of a lot of sun. Is it UV resistant? Shockingly, nothing is said about this obvious and very relevant point-of-sale. Another oversight is they they don't tell anyone the nozzle or thread pattern size nor bother to tell people the flow rate, of which one has to scrounge for this information. This apparently uses roughly 1/2 gallon of water per hour, but this is an educated guess. Presumably rate this is for their 3 nozzle unit, and a 2 nozzle unit would logically use a tad less. They need to list such information. SO the above unit failed from an apparently defective, the apparently clogged nozzle (the seller would not just sent a replacement nozzle) and was sent back. I thought surely that was a fluke and the next one would be a 3-nozzle unit. Nope. They sent ANOTHER 2-nozzle unit with no extra misting head as advertised. I asked the seller (Bargaincenter NOLA) if they had a link to an actual 3 nozzle Flex Cobra, because that is what I wanted to buy- they didn't. I give them 5 stars on customer service for making this right with a full refund and keeping both of the units, but leaving up a misleading product description is a bait-and-switch scheme by omission. I went to a drop off location and sent the defective one back anyway, another inconvenience. Why can't this page be updated and accurate? A lot of people would be satisfied with a 2 nozzle unit. So misrepresentation-sending a different unit than described and being aware of if has to be a 1 star. The product was NOT what I ordered-TWICE-and knowingly so. They told me that they have no link to an actual 3 misting head unit. I just hit the 'buy' button and did not go into any alternate sellers, so presume that Bargaincenter NOLA is the default distributor. This unit seems to be inherently sturdy, durable and easy to use, However, the lack of an included mesh filter, cleaning brush or care instructions makes the inherent durability poor, it is a failure that is waiting to happen, unless one buys and remembers to replace a separate 'Calcium Inhibitor' filter at the appropriate intervals and conditions, of which such information is probably NOT provided if this unit is any indication. Other customers claim that these filters remove rust and sandy particles and calcium deposits and the nozzles can be cleaned with a brush and some vinegar. But again, there are no instructions about such maintenance techniques, and no information on the expected life span range of these filters, of which the manufacturer MUST at least have some working knowledge about but choose not to share. Most any other filter that I have ever purchase gave some sort of indication on some sort of metric based on time, gallons, mileage etc. and many of these are just basic filters.
