Very pretty but packaging scattered the crystals

For an expensive table lamp, it is certainly pretty even when not in use as it adorns the nightstand. I have had it for over a month now and seems to be going strong thus far. If you smartly place it on the nightstand, the on/off switch can actually be handy, but again I have a bigger nightstand than average size. My only irritation with this item was when it arrived. It is huge, even in terms of packaging hence, make sure you have plenty of room and time when you assemble it more so for the styrofoam mess it will cause. Individual parts were packaged well, however it caused crystals to fall off big time while unpacking. Also, the metal ring going through the big crystals is incredibly cheap and gets super challenging for assembling the crystals which by themselves appear to be of decent quality. Won't be surprised if the crystals fall out from the cheap rings soon! All in all, not bad but could be better.

not the same lamp pictured.

Well it's pretty enough, but the lamp I received and the lamp I ordered that is pictured here are not the same. There are six crystal pendants all hanging from a circular metal plate suspended at the same height around the central lamp post, which is definitely not what is pictured. Also, the lights posts themselves are not the same. There are three silver bars that form the letter J that stem toward the shade from the top of the center post and end in crystal cup bases that hold the candlelike bulbs (bulbs not provided btw). The base of the lamp itself is made up of a flat silver circle on top of another flat silver circle, both with hard edges, not beveled or graded into rolling hills. Hard edges. The upside is that although very obviously a completely different lamp, it is still pretty to look at, albeit a bit more industrial than I really wanted. Also, it has a switch on the cord to turn on/off, but after putting in the bulbs I discovered that this lamp is a touch lamp, and has 4 different light settings. So that's not bad. I just hope it won't look too incredibly bad next to the floor lamp I bought from another seller, which I've a feeling will be the pictured item - but who knows at this point.

Beautiful lamps

I bought 3 of these lamps -- one floor and two table tops. They are beautiful -- great value. They are a bit difficult to assemble but a little patience was well worth it. The crystals in particular are hard to follow in the instructions. Other reviews had said, in essence, to just use your imagination. I did and I as said, they are beautiful.

Made cheap

I do believe once it was put together it was pretty. The quality of it shocked me because of price. It has a light switch in the cord. Didnt know this and it makes it not ideal for me. I have decided to keep it. There are pieces not metal and are plastic. The shade came cracked. Im sure they can send another shade but its pretty just not what i expected for my money.

Looks even better in person

Love this lamp. It's always scary buying something online when you can't see it in person, but I was pleasantly surprised with this lamp. It looks even better in person. There's a lot of detail you can't see such as strings of crystals in the top under the shade. The shade is thin, but I think it adds to the amount of light it puts off in a room. It comes with bulbs already, but I didn't use them because I like lower watts. This does take some time to put together and the instructions are hard to understand but if you have common sense it's not too hard to figure out on your own. I will say I bought two of these and one came with a dent in it, but I contacted them and they are sending a replacement part and I will send the defected one back - a hassle but worth it when you see how beautiful these are and at such a great price compared to similar lamps out there.

WORTH EVERY PENNY!

These lamps are absolutely gorgeous! I was skeptical at first due to the reviews and I had also bought one used. They were very well packaged and nothing was broken or missing other than some of the glass crystals had fallen off (easily put back together). I couldn't tell which one was used and which was new that is how immaculate they were. They also got to me fairly quickly, given that I had them shipped to an APO address. These lamps do come with strings of beads (12 strings) and although it has instructions they were very unclear on where they went so I improvised and hung them were I thought they looked nice. You can hang them where ever you want though, I connected them to some of the hanging crystals to give it a more chandelier look. Overall, this was an excellent purchase and I would buy some more if I had enough money!!

Love this Lamp

I was nervous to buy this lamp online because it’s so hard to know what you’re going to get, but I am pleased with this lamp. The base is much more sturdy than I thought it would be, the lampshade is better quality than I expected, the crystals are glass (they are cheap glass, but at least they are not plastic). The only thing that I was disappointed in was the metal rings that hold the crystals, they are very thin and, if you’re not careful, they stretch out.

Packaging on second order done properly

Ordered two lamps on a previous order with this seller, both lamps have broken pieces on arrival. Contacted seller and asked to send pictures, after doing so seller would not refund or replace as order was over 30 days old. Why the need for pictures then? We were renovating bedroom, so didn't open lamps until renovations were complete. Should not have done so, our fault. So ordered another lamp (this order) and used other two with broken pieces to make one good lamp. This lamp arrives and packaging is completely different, done properly and everything intact. Frustrating seeing it after very little packaging on first order. Lamps are a lovely product, highly recommend. Rather expensive when you have to buy three to make a set of two though... Will not purchase from seller again.
