Beautiful little fountain, but there are a few tips to make it even nicer.

I formerly had a fountain design biz, so can answer the questions the negative commentors made. No 1, all these little fountains need a couple small things to make them nicer. [1] First the pumps are loud as they have vibration. All you have to do is cut a square of rubber matting , like for drawer liners, and slip under te pump. if you still have too much noise, thenput a pad also under the fountain. [2] Leave the light ring where it is , how it came to you. I played around with it,hopeing to have light come up throug my added on clear glass pebbles. The light strength just isn't enough, and you definately want to see the spinning ball light up....right! The cords on this one are a bit obtrusive, so you need to face that side back to your display area, or 'just live with it'. [3] later on, I may add a double finger light , so that my glass pebbles will light up...because I love all the glitz I can get. But it's actually fine without it. My first plan was to set this whole fountain inside a larger , but just didn't need to in this application. As you can see I'm decorting 50's/coca cola/rockn roll. I may make a accent bowl out of a 33lp to dress it up further. have fun kids, with your awesome fountain! [ Oh almost forgot...I was very pleased that this one came with a pump/light ring comb that can be replaced easily. My last fountain had the light ring epoxied into the spinning ball part. This way is so much better! ]

Great fountain, but it would be better if I didn't have to fiddle with it.

This fountain looks great, but I had to do so much just to get it to a place I was happy with. Obviously the pump has to be completely submerged in water to avoid the loud humming, which I did. Despite the water level, it was still extremely noisy, and I couldn't figure out why... After disassembling it completely and just having the pump plugged in by itself, I discovered that the source of the noise was coming from the pump vibrating against the base of the reservoir. Since there was no possible way to adjust the way the pump was positioned in the water, I had to resort to a very weird solution.... I grabbed some pipe cleaners, shaped them into a circular fashion, and stuck them at the bottom of the fountain to make a make-shift bed to rest the pump on while it was submerged in the water, and it surprisingly worked like a charm. No more noise. Also the "rocks" that this fount comes with are absolutely pathetic. I happened to have a bag of black stones that I use for another fountain in my house that worked will for this one too.

Peaceful

The media could not be loaded. I saw all the bad reviews of it be too loud. Lmao! Thats because there's not enough water. The pump needs to be COMPLETELY submerged under water. Once you do that its complete bliss. If you hear a loud humming just add more water. Water evaporates.

So zen

Perfect after they sent me 1 that wasn't all broke to pieces. It's gorgeous, I put pink transparent flat marbles around the edges and the lights and water reflects off of them. So zen.

Not worth your time

It worked fine the first few days. Then the motor started making this high pitched whining sound and I found the water level had dissipated extremely fast. So now I can only leave it on for a few hours before the motor starts whining again. I liked the colors and spinning ball but now I wish I had kept the box to return it. Also an on/off switch would be nice. 2 stars for the colors and the ball

Beautiful fountain

I gifted this fountain to my niece, she absolutely loved it. The color of the lighting is really nice and the sound of the water streaming is soothing. Esthetically pleasing to the eyes!

Absolutely Gorgeous!

I swapped out the bowl it came with and used one from a previous fountain that broke and so glad I kept the bowl, it gives the fountain a much more elegant look
