Great lights!
The media could not be loaded. I’ve wanted holiday lights that can stay up year round without having to take them down. We added an outlet beneath our eves for holiday lights ten years ago and these lights serve the purpose! At 2000Lumens of light output with a 120 degree beam, these should work well as wall washes. Some people have had issues with connecting them and here’s the solution: 1. Download the “Smart Things” app. 2. Set up an account and verify with the emailed code. 3. Select “lighting” on the screen. 4. Select “panel light”. 5. Confirm your WiFi is not at 5ghz. 6. Enter your WiFi login credentials. 7. Plug in the light, unplug it in, plug it in, unplug it in, plug it in. Wait a few seconds and it should start to blink rapidly. 8. Confirm that it is blinking rapidly. 9. The app will recognize the light and begin the pairing process. 10. You can change the light name after it is paired. 11. You will be taken to the scene page where you may customize your lighting and color options. 12. Rename the scenes if you wish to make them easy to choose. 13. Press submit after you make changes to update said changes or you will have to start over with color and lighting options. 14. Set up a group by tapping the little pencil in the upper right corner once you have more than one light added to the app. You can select the different lights you’ve renamed and set up schedules to turn on it off. Make sure you have the individual lights on the correct scene before you walk away and make sure you stand there and confirm they are working/changing the way you want them to. We are trying these out this evening as wall washes in place of string lights. I plan on updating the review with an additional un-biased video. So far, I’m impressed yet the real test is outside although at 2000 Lumens per lamp, I don’t think this will be an issue. We currently have 16 low voltage lamps outside with a max of 380 lumens on each lamp to light up our house. Extensive research on my behalf has shown that color lights require higher light output (Lumens) to display better so this is a test run. *Pros 1. They are pretty solid. 2. Wide light beam angle for better coverage. 3. High Lumens (light output). 4. Easy to use with the app. 5. Great color customizer built into the app. 6. Can be used for any holiday to showcase designated colors. 7. Set up groups and scenes. 8. Good price for a pack of 2. 9. Lights can be dimmed. 10. Lights can be switched from Amber to Daylight. It’s your preference! Cons: 1. Direct three prong plug in which is normal for high light output in vivid colors. We thought about this and had the outlets installed with a switch at the foyer door. 2. They only come in black from what I saw but our home is 200 ft from the road so if they are installed beneath the Eaves, they won’t be noticed until the lights turn on. I’ve added a video to show them grouped and in working order. They are not off sequence. I purposely alternated the starting colors to keep them in a sequential display so that they would not show the same colors. I also adjusted the light sensitivity to show the colors without a washout.

Didn't last as long as I'd hoped
Another update - 10/16/2022 - had another one have the green LEDs go out again. Thinking I need to find a more reliable solution since the rest of the light works fine. UPDATE!! So, they've been installed for about 14 months now. They get used every night from sunset to midnight (got them setup to have Alexa turn them on at sunset which varies depending on time of year and then off at midnight). Had the green LEDs go out on one of them just yesterday. But the red and blue LEDs still work, so besides white, the only other colors I can make are mixes of blue and red. No yellow, orange, green, cyan, etc. just red, blue and purple. A little bummed about that so I reduced the stars. In hindsight, due to the initial cost, probably should have spent the few extra dollars and gotten the warranty so I'd have a chance at getting a replacement unit for a lot less money than new. 1 replacement unit would have covered the cost of the warranty. Time will tell how long the others last. I've also noticed a few other reviews that were posted after I bought mine, that others have had the same issue with the green LEDs. So if you get these, definitely buy the extended warranty. ORIGINAL REVIEW Bought a 2-pack to start, needed to figure out how I was going to mount and wire them on my house in place of the existing halogen flood lights. Turned out pretty easy. I was able to disassemble my existing lights and then drill a couple holes in the mounting bar that came with these lights to bolt it to my old light mount. Then cut off the end of the plug and wire this light into the existing box and re-attach it to the side of my house. Worked out well. Now I can change the color scheme outside to light up with holiday colors instead of just white light all the time. Time will tell about how long they last outside, and I was able to connect them to Alexa as a skill. So all good for now. Pretty happy with them.

Use the WiFi extender
The lights are bright. The glass is clear and completely transparent (other brands have fogged glass or deigns on it). Easy to install. Don’t forget to attach the WiFi extender. I didn’t and the WiFi would not work outside (still close to router). All of my smart lights are OhLux brand. No complaints yet.

Short Life - About 1 year
I like the features, color options & app features but the light was only in service for a year before it stopped working... I have more lights that are older and still working but this one failed ... I would like to replace this unit with a new one if possible ??

Love these lights
Used these lights to illuminate the house in red for Halloween and also use it to illuminate the tree in the backyard. Does an excellent job, very bright and the colors are really strong. The app works well too, I use these lights a lot and are in full wet locations and haven’t blinked with downpours and storms. Love them.

The lights are bright, I have them set to green. I’m in Florida and no problem with thunderstorms. I did have to reset it once when we had multiple power outages in the same day.

Muy buen producto, fácil de operar ya instalado. El único problema es buscar un tutorial en video para configurar las luces con tu red wifi local, ya que el instructivo es insuficiente.

las luces de colores no son tan potentes, el blanco si es muy potente, pero cuando s epone de solores, baja mucho la intensidad, son faciles d ecoinfigurar y funcionan bien,

Buen producto para video
Las pedí como una solución económica para iluminación ambiental para un video que debía realizar. Me gustó bastante, en espacios cerrados más que suficiente la potencia y me gustó que traen escenas predeterminadas que puedes modificar para crear varios escenarios en mi caso.
