What's not to love about them
I mean made in the USA real leather tool bags. Couldn't be more impressed will last me quite awhile. Very happy!

Must buy, 100%, save your money up and get you a belt you can be proud of.
TLDR; Good buy, save your money up and experience this. (The product on the page is a size large, framing belt, no suspenders, I am guessing one of their cheaper models) I have been burned buying USA products before, this is not the case. This belt felt right. For me it was worth the price 100%. I used it as soon as I got it building a fence, and it saved me a whole bunch of time. I am a diyer, but I do a LOT of work, and have been needing a tool belt for a long time, finally splurged and yep, I needed this belt years ago. My ONLY gripe is that there isn't any really good options for hanging my impact, but I am sure this company sells add ons for this. Also I feel like suspenders are necessary these belts get heavy, you can buy suspenders though later. The belt is fine on it's own, just wish I had suspenders. I am not an expert, but the quality feels great, I saw no loose threads, or weird blemishes, everything feels supple and nice. I am size 36 levis, 34 wranglers, with some wide love handles (I don't get a potbelly), these fit on the 4th inner hole. So if I lose weight I have 3 more notches. If I got down to highschool weight of size 30 then I think I could still wear these. There are also 5 more notches for larger folk. It goes from about 35" on the smallest notch, to about 43" on the largest notch. (This was measured on a normal tape measure, not a clothing tape measure, my picture is bad, but these are just estimates anyways.) All of these components are seperate, so I reckon if someone was low on cash they could just buy the components seperate and add on as needed. It would probably be more expensive in the long run, but a lower upfront cost. I don't see any reason why this wont last. Products like this actually make me feel some pride. Some American products I buy are overpriced junk, inferior to their cheap Chinese counterparts. This belt feels well worth the price of admission.

best bags around imo.
really nice set. i had my eye on this for a while and now that im back in the trades had an excuse to buy it. here is my initial review (after a week of hvac use, will update after a longer period) Comfort - i feel this belt is ridged and supportive enough to be fine on its own but i bought the hip buddies which i feel are a good choice, they really distribute the weight to your hips like a good backpack. combine with suspenders its a very comfortsble package. durability - I do coustom leather work as a side job and id say the leather is good quality and apropreate weights for the purpose, and the craftsmanship is good / functional. the fit and finish isnt perfect but nothing to detract from the function. I believe it will be fairly durable. most seams are single stitched which isnt ideal, id have expected double everywhere and triple in some areas, but most seams are also riveted at the ends and i believe the single stitch is probably to optomize pouch space due to the design. two potential durabiliy issues i see is the slot for the speed square has it rubbing against two seams, and i believe will wear thrugh eventually, although its just the seam for the turned over portion of the puch mouths, and the small hammer loop being leather will probably wear out esp if you use your hammer alot. leather - the pouch leather is a chrome tanned top grain leather of two thicknesses possibly with a bit of oil although considering how thirsty it was when i oiled it i dont think it had any oil to begin with. i would have preffered a more heavily oiled leather for this use and would suggest treating it when you get it atleast. obenauffs heavy duty lp or their lighter oil is good. it has a dark russet surface finish, i would have preffered a drum dyed / through finish for this application. if you oil it from inside the pouches you can see it eventually come through under the surface finish, making it significantly darker. the finish prevents oil from penitrating from the outside. the belt leather is a firm probably veg tan and seems to be oiled a bit and also of two thicknesses. leather thickenss are as follows: 3" portion of the belt - 16oz, .25", 6.4mm 2" portion of belt, hammer loop and tape holder- 12-13oz, 5mm, .20" main pouches that connect to the belt, tool sleeves - 8-9oz, .12-.14", 3.3mm outermost pouches that attach to the main pouches and secondary pouches - 5-6oz, .08-.09". 2mm functionality - wow, this is where these bags really shine. very well thought out and i can only see a few changes you might make for different trades and preferances. every tool specific pouch is where it should be and erogonomic / efficiant, i love the tape measure pouch (yes it fits a fatmax 35') i am an hvac carpenter so i do a variety of stuff and need a variety of tools. the pouches stay out of the way enough for a fair amount of manouverability, but inevitibly with bags this big itll be hard to squeeze through some places. i find the most dificulty climbing through scuttle holes into attics. In the right main pouch i have my 16oz or 24oz hammer and often i hook my impact driver to the hammer loop as well when i need it on ladders, beater chisel, utility knife, pencil, marker, trim pry bar, 35' tape, screwdriver, snips and chanel lock. the outer two pouches get gloves, ear plugs, parts or fastners for what im working on, my block plane or drywall rasp. left pouch gets cats paw, speed square, combination square, chalk box, torpedo level, driver bits nail set, and a variety of the common fastners i use. in my case i could actualy use two or three smaller outer pouches instead of the one larger one, and definatly more driver bit holders. i use drywall screws, construction screws, sheetmetal screws, tapcon screws, framing and finish nails all on a regular bases. on the back i bought the high mount hammer loop for my framing hammer when i need it, and the drill holster for my 1/2" drill, which works great. I would also highly recomend the padded suspenders. the only modification ive made to the belt is to put a chicago screw through the hip buddy belt loop through the loop so the right pouch dosent slide off when i take the belt off.

My man lingerie!
Let me start by saying these bags make you feel sexy! I've been in the trade 18 years and have owned plenty of bags, all never lasting as hoped. I bought these two years ago and have not been disappointed. The pouch setup positioning is just right and I never have to scramble to find a tool. What can I say other than these are perfect. Well worth every penny. If you plan on spending some time in the trades, just do yourself a favor and get these!

I bought this product for my husband he loves having this and says that working with this makes everything so much easier. The product seems to be made very well and durable.

The best of the best, don't hesitate this is money very well spent.
I am not a professional framer, but I do a lot of home renovations and will be building a new house next year. I have had a cheap front pocket carpenters belt for a long time, but got tired of it slapping me in the legs all the time especially going up and down ladders etc. This Occidental framers belt is likely one of the best investments I have made in years. First, it is solid beyond belief. I ordered another popular "knock off" framers rig along with this one and the difference in leather quality and overall construction was night and day. Out of the box, the Occidental is too stiff, like a new pair of quality shoes, it needs a good bit of break in before it becomes comfortable to use. I have been wearing it for multiple hours each day during this hot and sweaty summer and it is now getting to where it hangs properly on my hips. I routinely carry one or two 18v Makita tools, and either hanging from a loop or just dumped into a pocket, they hardly load it down. Nothing bad to say about this belt, if you do this for a living or just want the best, this is the one to get.

Love these bags
The only thing is I had to reorder bc my first set was stolen. I simply clicked ‘order again’. So I got the exact same thing I did as before but my belt is a small instead of a medium. It even shows a ‘M’ stamp on it but is clearly a small.

Double check belt size it seems small for the size
I like how thick and comfortable the leather is and how wide the belt is. Everything on it is very good. They are pricey but you get a bag that will last you for a long time. The only thing is the belt should have been a larger size than they say.

Buy 1 size up
Son measured 44” where he likes to wear his tool belt, the large belt was on last hole. Sent it back with no issues and ordered XL. XL Fits well with 4 extra holes. Leather is of excellent quality, belt is well made. Remember to take in account winter clothing.

Great tool belt
I am a 32-33 size, in the summer I am at the first and smallest hole of the belt and winter I am mi belt. Small is the size for medium hips.

Perfect belt low weight just tight to move pouches so would suggest to move them before you put on if belt is full
