Lightweight Sunglasses from a Reputable Brand

Timberland is mostly well known for its Boots and Boat-Style shoes, as well as slew of other leisurely apparels from shirts, jackets to socks, etc. I never knew that they also make sunglasses like this one, and I was pleasantly surprised. This pair is extremely lightweight, and the style resembles a trimmer version of safety goggle. The lenses do a decent job of cutting out the harsh California sun, especially when driving DIRECTYLY into the sun, I often get blinded but not with this pair. Lightweight means comfort around my ears and nose bridge, and icing on the cake for this pair, it's a TIMBERLAND! A proven and trustworthy American brand the whole world loves, you will TOO!

Not rectangular, but great sunglasses!

Why are these Timberland Men "Rectangular" Sunglasses labeled... "rectangular"? There's no rectangular pattern to the lenses. Regardless, these polarized sunglasses are very light, allow for micro adjustments on the nose piece, and don't fall off when I shake my head violently from side to side. I got them for running and cycling in wet or humid weather, and I haven't yet had the opportunity to try them in that kind of weather. I'm hoping that the design and the side slots help with reducing fogging. One of the factors adding to the cost (I assume) is the use of "bio-based plastic" in the frame (30%). I'm not certain what this means...plastics made at least partly from biological matter, or biodegradable plastics, or both? I support both tracks, and I'm willing to pay for my convictions.

Timberland Men's Tba9274 Rectangular Sunglasses- These sunglasses are some of the most comfortable I’ve ever worn. I was very impressed by how these fit. I’m not a person that spends a lot on sunglasses though because I do lose them often. I really never expected timberland would have made sunglasses this well done. The most comfortable element of these glasses to me is the padding that sits on the nose area. It feels like rubber material. It also prevents the glass from sliding as I move my head. The sides are also on the slimmer side so they don’t bother my ears at all. The little foldable box they include is a bit cheap but it does the job of keeping them somewhat safe. They do stay clean in the box but if these were to take a big blow the case would likely break. I kind of just took the box as a little something they threw into the listing. I would definitely get another pair of these. I love the look they give because it’s not flashy. They are subtle but work incredibly well. I can notice a difference when I drive with these on versus the cheap pairs I have. I know this isn’t exactly top of the line for sunglasses but these are quality sunglasses without breaking the bank.

Fine but I like their TBA9272 design better

Pros - - nice quality glasses at a reasonable price - sporty look - work as expected Cons - - I don't love the design. they're sporty-ish but not as sporty as a comparable pair I have from underarmour for instance, and the little gap between the top of the frame and the lens on the side looks a little odd to me, but eye of the beholder Overall - I like their TBA9272 design better, but both are good functional sunglasses

My wife's favourite pair

These are my wife's new favourite sunglasses. I ordered four pairs from Timberland and asked her to take her pick, and it took about five seconds for her to choose. I'm really glad she chose this frame as the sporty look isn't my thing, so I got to keep the others :) I really like all of Timberland's glasses, because unusually for a fashion brand they've made an effort to use excellent lenses. The polarisation is great and the clarity is surprisingly good for a grey lens. I usually find that grey reduces contrast and washes everything out, but with Timberland's lenses everything is crystal clear. Personally I'm not a big fan of the small gap between the top of the lenses and the frames, and I don't love the sporty look in general, but I've been told to give these five stars, so five stars it is.

Great for running in!

I specifically got these sunglasses to run in. These glasses are really light weight and comfortable to wear while running. The nose piece is quite comfortable and even though I was sweating during my run, they didn't move and was still very comfortable to wear. The arms also were comfortable against my temples. Although they have light weight plastic lenses, they are very clear and easy to see through. Overall, this is exactly what I wanted to run in. The only complaint is that they aren't the most stylish glasses - probably a bit too wide for my face, but that is just personal preference.
