Tight. Very tight. For a middle aged man with love of IPA's...a bit too tight
I like the shirt. I like the look. I am 5'8' and probably 10 lbs over my age (50) appropriate weight. I struggled to put a medium on and then walked in front of my teen daughters. The polite one noted it was "not a good look". The younger one just laughed. My point being...the shirts are tight which is want you want if you like to swim and be active....but.... apparently I need to either increase my affinity for salad or order the large shirt.

Great for then beach or under wetsuit
Got two of these in Medium to replace my Amazon Basics UV shirt. Main difference is that these are skin tight/slim fit vs. the amazon basics is more like a loose sweater. I hate anything near my neck (think turtle neck) but these are super comfy and light. Upside is they are great under a wetsuit. Regarding sizing, they run small. I’m typically a slim small, but these in medium are pretty tight. So you may want to go up a size.

Good quality but Not true to size
The XL size is snug for a normally medium sized teen boy. It’s a great quality rash guard shirt but definitely need to size up x2 to make it work.

Great product. I suggest going a size up. I’m normally a medium and wow was this tight. I mean too tight. Had problems putting it on and taking off. It great sun protection.

Perfect base layer and sun protection.
This shirt is very comfortable and serves it's purpose in every way. It's somehow warm and cool at the same time. Makes a warm base layer under uniform in winter but cools quickly inside and dries of any sweat. It also washes easily. I was concerned about mine being white, but everything has come clean easily, even sweat and dried blood! I'll be purchasing more.

"Cooling" effect when wet is an added bonus
I'm a trim and fit 41 year old guy so I was not afraid to buy this more fitted version, but boy it is tight. I sized up one size and I could have easily gone two up. The most amazing thing is the cooling effect when it gets wet. I tend to be always hot, so I thought a swim top would make super over heated. Nope, it actually seems to cool when wet and take heat away from your body. It's great! I don't know why I waited so long to buy a swim shirt like this.

Extremely small - go up 1-2 sizes
I'm 5'6", 145 lbs, medium build, and wear a Small in just about everything I own. The small on this was laughably small - like a child's size. I was worried I'd break it. I sized up to a medium and even that is super skin tight - a Large would honestly be fine I think. My rating has nothing to do with the quality of the product, but the sizing is very confusing.

Exactly what I was looking for
Great quality, great fit, very functional, and looks great. Yes it does fit snugly but that's by design, and it's stretchy and still comfortable. I use it for outdoor swimming, also for biking and running as an extra layer of sun protection under my cycling/running jersey, and yet it doesn't feel too warm as it's lightweight, cool and breathable. I'm "a little" older but very active and after a lifetime of being outdoors it's extra important to protect myself from sun exposure and this top does just that while checking all the other boxes for high level performance wear. Great job O'Neill and thank you!
