Expected better
The Nubi sippy cups are very nice to look at. However, on our first, second and even third try they kept leaking. We assembled them correctly but the leaks were still there.

Nice cups, but feels odd that you don't choose which color you would like.
If you've ever had kids, you know the basic straw style baby cup. Not a whole lot of variation across brands, after all, if it ain't broke, why fix it. These are basically exactly what you'd expect, a spill proof cup with a straw and a closable lid to lock the straw under when not in use. It works as it should and lives up to the leak proof claims quite convincingly. My 1 year old has no issues with using it. I did find myself having to knock off a star for the fact that they don't let you choose a color cup. Since my order, another store added to this product page allowing you to choose a color with the same cups for $2 more, but realistically, it doesn't make sense to me that choosing your color would cost more when they are the exact same cups. That said, they're still worthwhile cups. Happy to recommend these, just be warned on the cup colors being random and not a guarantee unless you pay extra.

Not the best
It seems to be made well. But my child has a problem with the straw. Can't seem to get the biting and sucking motion mastered. So it's frustrating to him and he winds up throwing it across the room. That's something we need to work on but I can understand where he's coming from. We had another Nuby sippy very similar to this and my son was more interested in taking it apart. He unscrewed the lid from the cup while it had water inside and removed the straw and seal... did I mention he's only 13 months old? So, it just didn't work for us. And this one didn't either. Even though it said it was for ages 12 months and up, I know each child masters skills differently than another but this is a challenge even for myself to test out. I don't recommend it, honestly.

Good cup with a couple of small concerns
I got this for my one year old that prefers straw sippy cups over traditional spouts. The cup is mostly very well made with quality materials and is fairly easy to clean. The cover for the straw is a little stiff to open and close, but that just tells me that I won’t have to worry about it opening accidentally while in my diaper bag, this leaking. My two concerns: 1) the rubber gasket around the lid falls out too easily and is tricky to get back into place, which can lead to leaks. 2) the straw is difficult to use and requires quite a bit of suction to get any liquid out right out of the package. I tested the straw myself and found it difficult for even myself, but apparently there is a “sweet spot” to use the straw that my child figured out and is able to use with mostly no issues (sometimes still have difficulties, but placement adjustments fixes this). For the most part my child likes this cup, and I think with continued use the straw will become less of a hassle and require less suction to get a drink as the valve loosens up a bit.

Adorable
I really like the rainbow pattern ( I have a girl and I was happy I did in fact receive the pink cup!) Easy to wash and not break. BPA free!

Problematic
I’m not sure what the issue is with this Nuby but my granddaughter was acting as if she wasn’t getting anything out of the straw. I took the cup and sure enough, I couldn’t either. We took the cup apart and tested each section but as soon as it was put back together, it required intense suction to get anything through the straw. As we checked the hole in the straw, I just happen to push down on the hard ridge right under the nipple hole and a good stream of water came out. So, everything was reassembled. I tried the cup again and I could get a good flow if I actually pushed down or put pressure on the nipple. I filled it with milk and gave it back to my granddaughter. At times, I think she may have been getting milk, but she kept looking at the nipple, then she would suck a few more times but it seems something just wasn’t right. I am going to buy another Nuby tomorrow.

Great for toddlers, but..
I didn’t realize with this listing that it was only one bottle, not two and you don’t know which color you will get. I was looking forward to having one blue and one red for my son and daughter as that’s what it showed. I ended up getting the pink one and my daughter does like it. The handles make it easy for her to grab.

Nice cup but definitely need a color specific listing
This is a sturdy, well made cup. I love that straw is completely concealed and stays clean when not in use and the double handles are perfect for little hands. I like the weighted straw cups for really little ones like my 11 month old but this is great for kids who are used to drinking mostly sitting up. The straw is bite reinforced and great for teething kids who bite through things. The design is adorable, if I had a girl. Because you can’t choose colors, I ordered and crossed my finger but ended up with a fuchsia pink cup. Luckily our regular play date is a girl so it’s perfect for her.
