How this arrived. This arrived as seen in the listing. The top half of the bottle is encased in a plastic blister cap and extends above the bottle with cardboard packaging to allow this to hang from a display shelf. Measurements and such The measurements of this bottle are about 7” at its tallest point and 3” in diameter at its widest point, which is at the top. The bottle then tapers downward to a diameter of about 2.25”. The bottle is stable, even though it narrows at the bottle. Not to feat about this falling over, as it is made of BPA free plastic and this is very durable, what it may lack in perfect stability. The bottle weighs in at 4.5 ounces. It holds This holds 9 ounces of water. The beauty of this bottle is that our toddler can turn this upside down and the water does “not” leak out. No promises thought about our little one filling their mouth only to allow the water to dribble out all over their clothes and the floor. So, we are doing more clothing changes. Our little one thinks it hilarious of course. Can all babies understand how to use Not all babies (sorry, toddler, but to me, they will always be my baby), so, not all babies immediately grasp how to drink from this. We have multiple. The one gender knows exactly what to do, the other, not so much. But they will catch up, we noticed a week or two delay, it’s fascinating. My thoughts & the biggest selling point I really like this sippy bottle. The big selling point is the double insulation. We have glasses like this, but they constantly break. Doubtful this will happen here because the bottle is plastic. The double insulation really works, keeping the drinks cooler longer and not allowing the exterior of the bottle sweat from humidity. [We do not give the babies cold drinks, but we will if they are slightly cool.] Soft rim spout. Can they handle this? Babies can handle with no problem without the bottle slipping and hitting them in the face. Closing thoughts Again, this is durable, I suspect because it’s so thick. As measured at the mouth, with a caliper, about 7.5mm thick, which is about 0.3”. The cute colorful star and circle designs sprinkled over this bottle are nice. This makes a great gift. There is a silicone ring on the inside of the bottle. There is a screw-on/off cap, did not leak, and is perfectly made and operates flawlessly. Where made This was made in China. Washing & Value We only handwash. The price, I think, is reasonable, considering it is double insulated. A Warning The manufacturer warns against no adult supervision and avoiding juices to prevent tooth decay. From a more senior co-worker, I received a suggestion to avoid juices, if possible, to prevent tooth decay. We did this for our first and had great success. No cavities and no cravings for sweets, nor sweet drinks. Design The mouthpiece has a unique design that makes this near leak free. Bottom-line I cannot find fault with this, it’s five (5) stars and there were no negative surprises. Of course, we could always just buy a bottle of spring water that’s made of glass and save money, but those bottles have their name brand plastered on them and do not have a stainless-steel cap and a fancy ribbon handle. I hope my thoughts were informative.
