Good toddler transition from bottles ????
First off, thank you SO much for shipping this earlier than the initial expected date. Under promise, over deliver - good motto. Truly appreciate that Amazon had this in stock and shout out to our local awesome Prime drivers ???? Even during these cautious careful times, life still goes on. Our toddler nephew was transitioning from bottles to trainer cups. Many cups were tested but he finally seemed to stick with this design. But they only bought one before the mandatory “stay at home” plea. Thank goodness Amazon sells them since this specific design were sold out locally. It resembles a bottle and it’s easier to hold/grip. The top is very easy to clean plus it’s soft and familiar for my nephew. So far there’s no issue of spillage when he’s using it while in bed - still feels comforting with no mess (knock on wood) ???? Now he only drinks cold milk or water so maybe that’s why there’s no spilling. Not sure what will happen with warmed liquids though ???? We’ll send them more when needed. Consider this simple design while searching for a transition cup from bottles.

Some leakage but we use it a lot
These are ok. I’ve bought a lot of starter cups and these are the most used. That said there is an issue with leakage but let me explain. The cup itself does not leak as long as you have it all put together right (I learned that fast). The issue is while my son is drinking. Because the spout requires him to suck, it hold some liquid at the top of the spout that doesn’t go back into the cup. So if he’s drinking and pulls the cup out, the liquid left in the spout does come out. Depending on how focused he is on what he’s doing, sometimes it’s a lot and sometimes a little. The spout is large so that also affects how much liquid can sit at top. Still as far as these things go, we still use it. It does not spill if it falls or in a bag. My son is now 14 months old (but 11 months adjusted) and has been using these for several months. He took to them easily. They are easy for him to hold. They wash easily by hand or in the dishwasher.

Totally not “spill” proof
These soft tops were the only kind my son would drink out of when we first switched him off the bottle. They drip when held upside down after just a few uses. I was extremely happy when I finally got him to drink out of hard tops and threw all of these away, right away. No more drips and spills now!

Leaks
These cups are very easy for a baby under a year to learn how to drink out of a cup. Even now, my two-year-old loves them. The problem is, once they have teeth, they start biting the spout. The spout is not durable enough to hold up to chewing. Once they start doing it, it leaks really bad. I have bought numerous replacements for these in the same thing keeps happening. The only way to get liquid out is too firmly compress it either between teeth or gums. By doing that, I think it teaches them to bite. It's a very comfortable cup for my toddler and my 8 month baby. Unfortunately, I seem to keep replacing these every couple of weeks in order to keep my carpets clean. The concept is great, the cup works well, I just wish that the spout was constructed a little bit differently so that it doesn't leak when they bite. I continue to buy them, so it can't be that much of a problem. Out of all of the other sippy cups that I have bought, I do like he's the best. They do sell replaceable spokes, so you don't have to replace the whole cup when this happens. It just starts to get expensive when you're replacing spot every couple weeks.

Somehow managed to leak out

Great cups
My daughter loves these cups. We have some that have the circle-shaped rubber piece in the lid & these are so much better. They’re sturdier, they don’t collapse while she’s drinking, & they have way less leakage. Only reason I took a star off is because the package came damaged and the cups were scratched up and dirty.

Baby likes them
Some sippy cups are very difficult to get any liquid out of them when a toddler is learning to use them. These are very easy for him and he likes them and the spout is soft and not hard which he prefers. They don't spill however, I'm noticing they are dripping down the side or onto him when he's drinking out of them more and more and it's not like there is a valve you can adjust. Usually readjusting the lid and screwing it back on helps some but not always so just be aware they can leak.

Doesn't leak when upside-down... As long as teething toddler doesn't chew the spouts to death.
My 18 month can hold this easily. Took him a second to figure out the spout because he was used to munchkin sippys. He doesn't have any problem with it now. I give him this one in the car since they don't leak if they get turned up side down. The nipple pops out for easy cleaning. Sometimes it's hard to get them out and back in but I have found the seal on them are better when they are that snug. Update: my son is now 2 and has a mouth full of teeth. The nipples finally wore out from him chewing on them so I bought more nipples. He had them leaking too within a month or 2 since his 2 year molars are coming through. Got him the hard spout cups now. Still love these cups even if he does chew them up.

Useless company/customer service
Bought these for my 18 month old and have regretted it. Replacement spouts cannot be bought anywhere in Canada. If the spouts wear out, you either need to toss the entire bottle and buy another one or contact Nuby's customer service. Even then, you can't order one. They have to be 'gracious' enough to ship you a replacement. Unfortunately, the replacements I got did not fit the spout and I ended up tossing the entire setup and buying Nuk branded bottles. The spout has lasted WAY longer than the Nuby brand AND it's easy to get replacements. Additionally, the spouts are overly convoluted and contoured. Same with the bottles. That means they're very very difficult to keep clean. Even with scrubbing them twice daily, I missed spots on the bottle and the spout and found bacterial growth. Just stay away from these things.

Do not buy
So I bought a bunch of these for my little guy and they are HORRIBLE . The nipples are hard to clean lots of little ridges and tiny spots that are hard to get into he drinks only water and occasionally milk in them . THEY LEAK like really really bad and if you don’t line up the nipple 100% correctly which is difficult to do they leak even more . The nipple holes stretch out very quickly. Extremely disappointed in the quality and I wish I knew before buying . Hope this helps other people!

Just ok, they aren't leak proof.
Not the great. They don't pour out like bottles but still make a mess if left on its side or pressure is put on the nipple. After a few days one of the nipples holes got torn so big that it leaked so much I threw it out. The plus side is they are a good shape to transition my 18 month old off a bottle but I probably wouldn't buy it again.

Buen producto
