Stay comfortable and dry

Firstly, I can say that the pair I got is true to its size, and the wide shoe last is a perfect fit for my wide feet. I find them very comfortable to wear, and they provide good support for my feet. One of the main reasons I chose this particular pair was because of the waterproof technology that they use. While I haven't had the chance to test them out in the rain yet, I'm confident that they will keep my feet dry. The only concern that I have is with the durability of the bottom of the shoe. I do a lot of walking every day, so I worry that it may wear out quickly. However, I haven't had any issues with them so far, and I'm hoping that they will hold up over time.

Great footwear

They look good they’re comfortable. They hold up as a teacher. I’m on my feet all day worth the money.

Only shoe i've ever re-ordered

i just reordered another pair of these same shoes (size 9.5 nubuck). i will keep using my old ones (from 2019) for work around the house and walking the dog etc. and use the new ones to wear to office/dress casually. i love the rubber solid sole of this shoe. cannot beat the support and solid base you get. ive never had a better sole and the shoe fit is perfect.

This classic brand did not disappoint

Great fit and high quality matetials! Typically hard to find good-looking stylish shoes that don't break the bank when shopping for extra wide shoes. Can be worn casually or dressed up. My guy wore with a suit an they complimented it well.

They're slightly snug on my feet width-wise. Length wise they're a little long for a size 12 but nothing dramatic.

Great everyday allpupose shoe

This affordable well-made shoe seems to last forever. The shoe strings, last a few months! They are waterproof and good for daily use anywhere, and for hiking or outdoor activities. Mine last until I sink ankle deep in spring mud and even then they clean up well. You'll need replacement shoe laces which are hard to find in the right length and diameter. Keep some extras on hand, use them to play with your cat. Delivery for this most recent purchase was slower than usual for Amazon.

My third pair of Rockport shoes that won't be my last

The durability of these shoes outshines the vast majority of footwear available. I wear them for work, and as a teacher, I'm on my feet most of the day. I have walked many, many miles in them throughout my travels as well. After a few years, the rubber soles wear down (naturally), but the leather uppers have never failed me despite my rough handling of them at times.

Got them in good time-feel good BUT THERE SQUEEEEEEEEEKERS...ya wont be sneeeeeekin up on yer prey with these on... but they do feel good and so far have been able to smile thru the pain I give footwear !@!

Not the same as the old US made Rockports

Prices have come down since they moved the manufacturing from US to China, but the quality has plummeted. I would rather pay more and get the old Rockport quality I was used to. The first thing to go is the laces, and they go quick. They don't stay tied and they break fast. It's not a huge deal as cheap replacement laces are available, and weirdly, even the really cheap black laces are better than the Rockport oem laces. They will stay tied and will last much longer...most likely for the remaining life of the shoes. With normal use, the old Rockports would last me at least 5 years (and with the original laces) before wear was sufficient to require replacement. With these, you'll be lucky to get 2 years. They still look very good, especially when new, and seem to fit the same.

Comfortable but the heels wore out in 18 months

The shoes were fine until the heels wore down and become very slippery in the wet. I checked how long I had owned them - just 18 months, although I did wear them a lot. They cannot be resoled. I have demoted them to gardening shoes and replaced them with something different.

Lovely colour, light but very well made and very comfortable!

Despite it was shipped from USA, it was worth waiting for a few days only. I always chose Rockport for comfort and quality; always choosing half- ankle chukka boots for ankle support. I liked the sues colour and design on this pair so much that despite it was not my signature style chukka boots , It was love at first sight when arrived ! I wear it as “ go to “ shoes because of its top quality, comfort and support for feet! Lovely shoes, not heavy with heavy looks ! I recommend it!

Shame on you Rockport!

I've owned a similar style of Rockports before and absolutely loved them and wore them for over a decade. At $145 a pair, they were out of my budget, but I figured what the heck, these shoes will last 10 years. What a disappointment, although they look stylish these new Rockports are very cheaply made and not worth the money. They feel like cheap knock-offs, I'll be surprised if they outlast the winter.
