Oh my word! I couldn’t wait to get this! I was a bit worried, I may have purchased the wrong one. I originally wanted, an air fryer that had ‘shelves’/‘Racks’, NOT baskets! However, my husband insisted on, not only an air fryer with baskets, he insisted on a NINJA! Well, we received it a day late, but it Definitely DOES NOT DISAPPOINT! I LOVE IT! We made tempura battered Onion Rings and homemade French Fries in it, the first night! They were the very best onion rings we have ever had! The French fries were great too! You DO have to let the unit ‘heat up’. It says in the manual, you don’t…but you definitely DO, if you want your food to be ‘done’ in the amount of time they tell you it will take, in the manual they send with the unit. Next time, I will let my unit heat up, by setting it at 400’, and setting the timer to 12 minutes. A lot of the reviews say, “the unit is loud”. It is ABSOLUTELY NOT, too loud. It sounds like a ‘FAN’, which makes total sense, since it IS an ‘AIR’ fryer! Right? Anyway, I love it! I’m super stoked, to cook our next meal in it! We got the 2 basket, 10 quart size, Ninja! You won’t be disappointed! There are a lot of air fryers out there, this Ninja one, I’m SURE, is at the top of, THE TOP RATED, if you ask Google! Buy it!

An excellent air fryer - though I would recommend the 10qt over the 8qt.
I love the controls, especially being able to time the two sides to finish together. I like how everything you want to clean is easy to remove, and dishwasher safe (even though I hand wash everything). I bought the 8qt because everything says that it is ideal for a family of 3 to 4 people, and the 10qt is for a large family. But the 10qt would be my choice for even a single person. They both have all of the same options - but the baskets in the 8qt are skinnier and longer than the 10qt. Advertising pictures will show baskets full of things like French fries - but the instructions say to cook them in a single layer. You can do more than one layer, but the ones underneath get a bit less heat with each layer - so a larger basket let's you cook in fewer layers. Also - the longer, thinner baskets of the 8qt do not get heat as evenly to the edges as the 10qt. Don't get me wrong - it's a great air fryer - but if it will fit in your space then I recommend the 10qt. FWIW: They aren't as large as some reviews make you think.

Air Fryer Game Changer!
I hesitated buying an Air Fryer, because review were not so great. Finally decided to "try it out" and OH MY GOODNESS ... we could not believe how this one small appliance has changed our cooking habits! The Ninja 6 quart was a bit pricey compared to others, but well worth every penny. Hamburger patties can go from freezer and in less than 20 minutes come out totally perfect, as with bacon, and with no messy cleanup. Any frozen fried food, too. Shrimp, onion rings, French fries, Sweet potato fries, breaded cheese -- ALL perfectly prepared! And my favorite is roasting veggies. This model will also allow you to prepare foods to cook at the desired "Rare, Medium, Well Done" preferred by each of us, yet comes out at exactly same time, because of the two separate drawers. Simply set temps on each side, then timer. Easy Peasy! Definitely Recommend!!

Love it!
I have bought in the past air fryers only to feel there’s gotta be something better. I heard from my brother about the Ninja 2 basket air fryer and I did my homework and got myself the same one and can’t say enough. This fryer is a game changer for me . I cooked ribs on one side and veggies on the other and I can’t stop trying more foods and love love love it! Good is crispy on outside and really juicy inside . Get one, you’ll love it too!

UPDATE: Most Valued Item in My Kitchen
UPDATED AFTER 6 WEEKS OF USE: This has become the most valued item in my kitchen. I've enjoyed immense benefit from using this to replace my use of the oven. In the past six weeks I've used my oven only twice, to cook a pizza. Everything that comes out of this Foodi is hands down better than it ever was in the oven. I use it on average about 4 times a week for meals. I use both baskets 80% of the time. When I use both baskets, I use the smart finish feature about 75% of the time. No preheat necessary. I found that I can mostly guess the right time for things that don't have air fryer instructions, it's that easy going of an appliance, and it's that hard to mess up! The crisper plates are great for letting grease fall and so things come out tastier and not soggy. An added bonus for me is that it's super easy to clean! Both baskets fit into the top shelf of my dishwasher and the crisper plates go at the bottom. It's non stick and comes out very clean in dishwasher. (Note: I do not use the heated air dry, but it sounds like it would work with heated dry on.) As of yet, I have not had to clean the compartments the baskets go into, they seem to remain very clean to the touch. I use the top to place whatever utensil I am using to grab things out during cooking, and then I wipe down the top. The top does not get hot at all. Even though it only goes up to 400 degrees (for everything except air broil, which goes up to 450, on one basket at a time, not both at a time), I find that I don't need higher than that for things that call for 425 or 450 degrees. 400 works for everything so far. I just add a few minutes. My favorite thing to cook so far: air broil at 400 frozen burger patties, no need to thaw. basket 2: curly fries. Both are done at 14 minutes, flipping the patties over halfway through. Easiest 15 minute 2 burgers half basket of fries dinner ever! ORIGINAL REVIEW: This is my first air fryer. I am pleasantly surprised. It exceeded expectations. I'm a middle-aged perpetual bachelor who's culinary talents max out at backing chicken breasts and simultaneously using the stovetop to cook rice. Most things for me come in boxes with three instructions or less, and pictures. This enhances that experience for me. In just the few days since I got it I made burgers, chicken, fries, cooked a half ham. It is much better than the oven for sure and the food comes out better. Less oily or soggy for sure. BUT - I was shocked to learn that you can turn the unit on without the baskets inside. If you have kids, this may be a problem. The heating element is easy to reach inside and touch, it's just above the cooking baskets. I can see this as posing a serious problem if you have curious children who like to push buttons and reach inside of things. I mean, this device doesn't have a sense detector that says, hey there's no basket, let's not turn on. You can fully set up cooking time and temp and with no basket in, press start and it will start cooking. A bit shocking to me considering all of the safeguards I thought were in place for kids when products hit the market.

Working extremely well
This fryer is a real gem. I was surprised at how easy it is to operate. Several options and most everything is very intuitive. Best part is how easy it is to clean. Similar to an oven, you have to play around with how the temperature works, pre-heating and all that. After using for a bit now, the oven is starting to collect dust as this cooks faster and for smaller portions, is rather ideal.

Can't use it, not for uk market. It has an American plug for 120 v. This is unfit for purpose.
I repeat this appliance is for the American Market and not the uk marktet. It is not fit for purpose. I purchased in good faith from Amazon (UK), not an American company based in America. This item cost me over £300 and is totally useless. From a very disappointed customer. Amazon please help me. .

Great air fryer
I upgraded from a Philips which I consider the best quality in the market, but they don't have dual basket fryers. The Ninja is on par, and is well designed. This also offers a higher temp option (450F) when needed which is a bonus! Having two baskets opens a lot of options in the way it can be used. Air frying is way better than using an oven - more crisp and much faster, which is why I needed a bigger air fryer..

Not suitable for use in the UK due to 2 pin plug!
Never been so disappointed with a purchase from Amazon until this morning when my Ninja arrived to find I cannot use it here in the UK due to the 2 pin plug feel quite annoyed that I never spotted this in the description. Surely it would be better to show a picture of the plug, nor could I find this model on the Ninja Site. Very disappointed especially as I had to wait quite a while for it to be delivered.

Great air fryer.
Had a smaller one but this double one is perfect for us. Much better size even with just the two of us. Nice to be able to plan both sides to be done at the same time. Price comparable.
