LED Bars are only creating 15 Watts each.
I was really excited to see a reasonably priced 30 Watt 6 inch LED bar. I was lured by the claimed 5 watt LEDs. Sadly the LEDs in these light bars are not 5 W LEDs. They can not be driven at 2.4 amps at 12 V. The LED driver is an OC5628 Built in MOS Switch Step-Down LED constant current driver which has a maximum regulated current of 1.2 A. At the regulated 12 volts that is just under 15 watts per 6 in bar. So although the lights are not generating the 30 watts I was hoping for, the lights are still bright. The construction is very good at this price point and upon inspection there is gasketing inside the device for water protection and intrusion. There is a gasket between the plexi-glass lens on the front and is sandwiched into place by the 8 front screws, in picture its white. There are also rubber gaskets on each end that are held tight to the body by three screws via end caps. The machining and coating are decent but there are some rough areas near the cutout for the power cords that could break the coating and start corroding. I have not permanently installed these onto a vehicle but have bench tested them. They draw about 1.4 amps each from the source and deliver at maximum 1.2 amps via 6 leds. The device comes with what appears to be stainless hardware and two similar coated mounting bracket heights. The taller mounting brackets can be mounted inward if you have a tight installation area. I took a picture of the mounting brackets mounted in so that you can see the space needed to mount. If you also ordered with a harness its a solid harness but if you are trying to use a more custom installation you may need to modify the harness. The fuses provided are 10 amp and 15 amp. Seems bigger than needed for a complete draw of 2.8 amps. Seems like a 5 watt fuse would be safer. Also the provided crimp on connectors are hard plastic and the ones on the harness are softer silicon or rubber. I would suggest using better crimp on connectors that the plastic ones provided. Bottom line if you need a small 6 inch light bar this is a good option, if you want the highest level of light output in this size look for a company who is using a True Osram 5W or Cree 5W LED package.

Motorcycle Lights
I saw a YouTube video where someone added one of these to their bike and it helped a lot at night. Since I do a lot of riding at night, I added both, and I can’t imagine not having them now. I’ve become so dependent on them, when I turn them off and rely on the standard lights and brights, it seems like I can’t see anything. If they ever die, you can bet I’ll be replacing them.

Good quality.
Bought three times so far with different styles of light bars. Good value for money, easy to install, and brighter than I expected. It is used for fog light and DRL purposes. If someone asked me to recommend a light bar, I would recommend this product.

Nice lights for the money.
The lights are very bright and easy to install. Also there were complaints about moisture getting in the lights. So I opened the ends and sealed them and then around the front lenses. I used Gorilla all weather caulk and seal. I saw it on youtube.

A tip for the moisture intrusion problem...
I've bought a number of these LED spotlights over the past three years, used for backyard 12 volt spotlights to illuminate my yard at night from a 12 volt battery. Very bright and a good spread of light. However, as posted in some of the other Reviews, they do have a long-term problem with moisture getting into the housing and shorting out some or all of the LED's. This occurs over a long period of time, about six months and you can start to see the condensation building up into the clear light lens. These lights get hot so I imagine that as the light cools off it sucks in tiny amounts of humidity past the lens. I took one of my defective lights apart. It appears that the clear lens is glued into the aluminum housing and the wire as it enters the bottom of the housing also has some sort of sealant that seals that area too. However, I suspect that the heat generated by the light breaks the seal of the clear lens and that's where the moisture is entering the housing. Again, it's a very small amount of moisture at a time, not like a rain-water leak. But that's probably the source of the long-term moisture problem. I just bought a couple more and will run a bead of clear silicone around the joint of the clear lens and the aluminum housing to help seal that joint. Just and idea for other buyers...

Wattage rating below advertised.
Although these lights have decent lumen output and are sufficiently bright for most intended purposes, they do not meet the advertised 30w rating. Each light consumes approx 15w each. So yes both lights are 30w combined together but individually they are not.
