Not ideal but it works
Why's it so hard to find a decent LED desk lamp nowdays? I'm resigned to the fact that they stop working after a year or so - continually adjusting the position of the lamp wears the internal wires down til they break I suspect? So I order several cheap ones to have a replacement handy. So many of them have the trendy touch-activated thing which I HATE. Light turns on and off/dims every time I brush it or change the position. Never again! So I have to ignore all the lamps with that. I love a switch right on the lamp but they now all have them on the cords. Anyway, this lamp is decent I guess. It doesn't match what the reviews here say though. It's got a replaceable bulb and a standard cord (not USB as many reviews here mention). Brightness is OK for the size - could be brighter though, especially since I've had even smaller lamps that were plenty bright. The supplied bulb has a slight yellowish tone which could be good for ambient lighting but not ideal for close desktop work. The switch is on the cord, not on the lamp. Bah! The base is very light compared to even smaller lamps but it seems perfectly stable. I don't expect to have issues with that. One last thing: the instructions say to "carefully" insert the lamp into the base. Ha! Nope. You have to really push and shove that sucker, but it will go in eventually. I'd say for 19 bucks go ahead and buy it if you don't see something better. I loved my previous Newhouse lamp: DLST01-B. Perfect small size, bright, switch on the lamp not the cord. But they don't sell it anymore. I should have bought five of them.

Works great, except it has limited forward motion
A bright light on a sturdy base with Really stiff springs that don't seem to soften. Kinda hard to adjust but it does hold its position. However, take note, that you cannot adjust the light to be forward of the base. It goes up and down and very little backwards from center but not forward. Makes it hard to use up close in front of the base. Otherwise a good, inexpensive lamp.

It's made in China, so don't expect quality...
I bought two of these since they no longer make the lamp that I presently use. I opened up one of them today, and noticed that one of the screws in the bracket in the middle of the arm, was hanging out, ready to fall off. There was no nut on it. I went to screw it back in, but the Philips head on the screw was stripped. Apparently, the person in China who assembled the lamp, couldn't get his electric screw driver into the stripped head of the screw, so he just left the nut off of the screw, instead of replacing the screw with another one. Also, the on/off switch is located in the power cord line, not on the unit. The power cord is permanently connected to the base of the unit, but the other end of the power cord plugs into some sort of USB module that comes with the unit, and the USB module plugs into the wall outlet. I haven't tested the unit yet to see if it generates any RFI (radio frequency interference), since it uses some sort of switching power supply, but considering it's price, and the fact that it's made in China, the odds are pretty good that it does generate RFI. (cheap switching power supplies are cheap, because the manufacturer saved money by not installing the proper filtering components in the power supply to eliminate RFI.) Once I test it for RFI, I'll edit this post to let people know if it does or does not generate RFI. If you're wondering why I'm concerned about RFI, it's because I bought these two lamps to use at Field Day, which is a national even held every year in June. Ham radio operators from all over the country set up communications in parks, backyards, boats, etc., and the purpose of this 24 continuous hour event, is to get practice in setting up temporary communications, in the event of a disaster. My radio club sets up in a local park, and we use generators for power. I bought these lamps to provide light for the radio operators when it gets dark, but if these lamps generate RFI, we can't use them, since the RFI would wipe out out receive signals.

A Very Cool Lamp - But Had to Have a Replacement Sent
This desk lamp has a very heavy base, which is something I wanted for the stability. A clamp also comes with it if you'd rather use it that way. It adjusts every which way. It has a dimmer switch which is an unexpected and nice feature. It was exceedingly hard to get the lamp into the base as far as it is supposed to go in. I ended up turning the whole thing upside down on my lap and whacking the bottom of the base with a mallet in order to force it onto the lamp bottom. I thought that this lamp was a great buy until I tried to use it for a work session. After a few minutes it just switched off. Using the dimmer/switch, the most I could do was get the light to flash. I e-mailed the company for any possible advice, and got no reply whatsoever. I've e-mailed them again. We'll see if their customer service is better this time. UPDATE: They replied to the second e-mail and sent me a replacement lamp which does work, at least initially. 3 stars because of the trouble, but I do like its design. Perhaps they need to have more quality control at their China manufacturer.

This is a middle of the road light- and does the job
This is from a American company, designed and fulfilled in the USA (CA) but made elsewhere. This is a decent sturdy lamp with a clamp or base option. This has a built in LED build you can’t change and isn’t as adjustable as a swing arm would lead me to believe but it is adjustable just not as much as I’d like because the springs kind of prevent some angles. The materials are sturdy and good metal and look good but not great. The brightness adjusts by touch, which is cool. I wish I could change the bulb because I wanted to use it bedside and it is a cooler bright light. This is NOT a cheap shoddy lamp nor is it a nice one. It’s a middle of the road good lamp and would be great for a desk or crafting etc.

Switch plate didn't work
I ordered 4 of these for a new commercial property I was building, so they sat in their boxes for over a month before being used. Once set up, 2 didn't work. It was past the time to return. So I am stuck w 2 non working lamps. They turn on and off but only by unplugging, not by the switch plate.

Tiene buen diseño es un producto fuerte que se ve de calidad, no es costosa y no consume mucha energia, se ajusta muy bien ya sea conla base o con la abrazadera. La lámpara es grande no es mediana, la base es grande y pesada. Solo hay dos cosas a considerar: 1 no hay remplazo de led, osea que si se te descompone, funde, o no enciende, debes cambiar toda la lampara. Aun asi la garantia dice que puede durar muchos muchos años. 2 hubiera sido genial incorporar el interruptor en la base es incomodo porque cuelga el cable En general es una excelente lampara.

Llego a tiempo, la lámpara es muy bonita y de buena calidad, tiene dos formas de usarse, una es con un clip directo a tu escritorio y la otra es con una base redonda bastante resistente que viene incluida. Me encanto la volvería a comprar.

Bonita lámpara a precio razonable
Esta lámpara de escritorio vino a sustituir a mi vieja lámpara IKEA, por el precio esperaba una calidad decente, sin embargo superó mis expectativas, es una lámpara muy bonita, el armado se siente macizo, claro no como mi lámpara IKEA, pero hace su trabajo, lo que más me gustó es que mediante el conector USB la puedes alimentar directamente desde la PC sin necesidad de utilizar supresores o clavijas adicionales, el botón de encendido touch no me deja buen sabor de boca porque no siento ese feedback al encenderla o apagarla, la luz de led es muy blanca hubiera preferido un color más cálido.. En general es un buen artículo a un precio razonable y se mira bonita.

Nada recomendable ????
The media could not be loaded. Desgraciadamente solo duró una semana y ahora ya no sirve. El control dimmer es muy bajo en calidad y ya dejó de funcionar, ahora solo tengo una lámpara inservible que enciende cuando se conecta el cable USB, pero el nivel de luminosidad se quedó en muy baja potencia así que no la recomiendo, espero que mi comentario le sea útil.

Práctica, pero con muchos detalles en acabados que, sin embargo, no afectan su funcionamiento
La relación costo-beneficio es buena. Sin embargo, los materiales no son de la mejor calidad. Los soportes, tanto el que se fija al escritorio y como el que sirve para que la lámpara se quede de pie, tienen rebabas debido a que son mayormente de plástico lo que, además, impide que queden totalmente firmes. Otra cosa no muy buena es que el botón de on/off se despintó a las dos semanas de uso. La intensidad de la luz está bien, pero no es regulable.
