Refillable gallon bottle with a handle...

It's a good simple product. If you're someone like me looking for a refillable gallon jug for whatever it is you're getting into, but don't like the plague of those whimpy "inspirational" water bottles that patronize you and cheer you on as you drink your water listed all over Amazon, then this is the bottle for you. It's clean, it's clear, there's no obvious or visible branding on it. It just looks like the jug you'd find on the top of a water cooler but with a handle. Seriously, buy it.

Convenient size to keep in the fridge

If you have a water purifier that hooks up to your sink, this is a great product to purchase. I like my water ice cold (minus the ice). With the purifier it only comes out as cold as the tap. Keep this filled and in the fridge. Problem solved!!

Basically a Very Robust and Sturdy Plastic Water Jug. However, the Cap Seals on About 45% of the Jugs Leak Even when Tightened.

I have bought almost a dozen of these; the majority of the order arrived a few days ago, and the remainder are due to arrive in a few days. Basically a very sturdy and robust one gallon water storage jug. However, there was one feature which annoyed me, and one potential problem that I noticed with some of the jugs, as follows: The feature that annoyed me: The jugs feature a wide blue fabric ribbon that serves as a "keeper" or retainer to keep the cap attached to the neck of the bottle when filling or pouring. I found that the cap dangling from the neck of the bottle when filling and pouring was incredibly annoying, and so I did myself a big favor and used a pair of scissors to completely remove the retainer fabric ribbon. With the retainer ribbon removed completely, I now find the bottles, and their caps, far easier to fill, to pour from, and to handle. The potential problem that I noticed, which seems to occur in about 45% of the bottles that I have received so far: About 45% of the bottles exhibit a weird and unexpected problem where the cap, even when tightened as much as possible, leaks pretty badly if the jug is turned on its side or upended (that is, turned upside down). In one case, the leak turned out to be primarily due to the fact that the translucent silicone rubber seal in the cap had -- apparently during shipping -- come loose in its groove and was sitting askew in the groove, and once I carefully re-seated the seal in its slot/groove, and then replaced the cap and tightened it, the leak disappeared. However, the remainder of the jugs that leaked did not exhibit any problems with the fit or seating of the flexible silicone rubber seal in its slot, and yet, even when the cap was tightened with a great deal of force, the caps exhibited very significant leakage if the jug was turned on its side or upside down. In a few of the cases, that is, for a small percentage of the leaking jugs, I was able to finally remediate the leak by removing the cap and then replacing it, and then tightening it by hand with a force of over 50 foot-pounds (which is quite extreme). Frankly, it should not be necessary to need to exhibit superhuman strength in tightening the caps on these jugs just to ensure a good seal of the cap to the bottle. For the remainder of the jugs that exhibited leaky cap seals, even the application of superhuman levels of force in tightening the cap did not create a true seal, and thus these bottles continued to leak, and to leak badly, whenever they were tilted on their side or turned upside down. BTW, I am using these jugs for the purpose of storing well water from my mountain well, and not for storing any kinds of exotic liquids (such as solvents, etc.) that might leak more easily than would water. For me, the leaky cap seals on about 45% of the jugs is not a major issue, since for the purpose for which I am using these jugs, they are always stored upright, and are never tilted or turned upside down while the cap is in place. However, if you are planning to use these jugs for carrying water in a car, or in a panier bag on a bike, or in a backpack, where the jug might often be tilted or upended, then the leakiness of some of the caps could turn out to be a major problem for you, for you might have some major leakage of the jug contents on your hands!

I'm Happy with it

It's a great container, I use it for the gym and my daily consumption of water. It flies around in my passenger floor and so far it hasn't broken. This is my second one, my first one lasted for about a year and broke when I dropped it on asphalt. Hopefully this one is around for a year too.

Get weird looks at the office with this one weird trick

Pretty great bottle, holds a ton of water and if you really try you can drink it all in one day while your coworkers look on in disgust. The first day you walk in, you can use it as a conversation piece to talk to the cute new person who joined your office or your regular looking coworkers who deserve your attention just as much as the new person. The cap is a bit annoying, I have a bit of struggle sometimes trying to re-thread the cap properly but as long as you're not just brute forcing it like some 300 pound gorilla with anger issues, you'll be fine. I haven't dropped it yet but I'm guessing it wouldn't take kindly to that. Don't drop it. Would've been 5 stars but I'm a fickle mister and I don't like struggling trying to put the cap on but man for $15 it's great, I use it every day and there's no weird smell or anything like that.

5/5 Cumple lo qué promete, volveria a comprar.

Bastante bueno para el precio, simplemente ten en cuenta qué son 4 litros jaja, veo muchos comentarios quejandose de eso. Igual es bastante resistente mientras no lo dejes caer lleno, es plastico parecido al de los garrafones. No ha goteado ni una vez, lo he tenido de lado varias veces. Ya tengo 4 meses con él y super contento. En conclusión, un mini garrafonsito, esta mamalón, va a ser tema de conversación. Por el precio no puedes dudar.

NOT Structurally sound

At first glance, this product appears great: decent price, good lid, Leak resistant, Clear, No straw. Then after some prolonged use, you set it down gently on your passenger seat, and the botton blows out and your seat is soaked in 3.78L of water, and you live where its 20 below freezing all the time... After some further inspection, you notice that the bottom of the jug and thusly the whole thing with the exception of where the lid screws on, is incredibly thin and not nearly strong enough to last even a modicum of the time required for something that costs $28. The Return window is closed, so now im out money. VERY dissatisfied...
