Fantastic we use it to make our fruit leather

Work quite well
Used for drying fruit, these make cleanup easy. Since they are for a Nesco dehydrator, they fit perfectly.

These fit the Nesco FD-80A square model I have!
These trays fit my square Nesco FD-80A dehydrator and I couldn’t be happier! One suggestion. Because of the packaging of these trays, they were misshapen when I received them. In order to flatten them out for use, I preheated my oven to 200F, then placed the trays into the oven with flat cookie sheets to weight them down. After 20 minutes or so, I turned the oven off and allowed it to cool. Now the trays are perfectly flat for use.

Great for dehydrating soups and stews too!
I'm dehydrating my home made soups and stews, and these are working great for me not that I've learned to rub them down with coconut oil before using them. I set my dehydrator for 115F to help preserve the nutrients, and foods just stuck like crazy before trying the coconut oil. I chose coconut as it doesn't appear to go rancid. I found an old old jar from perhaps 20 years ago and it smelled and tasted good, even though it was nearly all gone and had been opened many times before getting lost in the back of the cupboard. Animal fats go rancid for sure, so my meats are precooked and rinsed with boiling water to remove oils prior to cooking into soups or stews. So far the short term storage of dehydrated foods has worked well for me and I plan to continue putting up more of my own cooking to take with on campouts etc. Now I just have to figure out how to keep the dried foods from poking through the vacuum bags!

Since we got our fruit dryer just as the fall fruit season drew to a close, we haven't gotten as much use out of this and related products as we would have liked (I will potentially update this if my opinion of the product changes). We were, however, able to make a few batches of fruit roll ups before running out of cheap, fresh fruit. A word of warning to anyone purchasing, with theNesco/American Harvest FD-80 Square-Shaped Dehydrator , the time it took to dry fruit rolls was significantly longer than what was mentioned in their booklet, almost 1.5 times as long. So if you are planning on taking them out just before bed, make sure you start earlier than suggested and then watch the progress. Beyond that, they produced delicious fruit roll ups, and worked perfectly with the dryer linked above. Cleaning was super easy, and the fruit peeled right off without much of a fight.

These are great for making leather-type fruit roll-ups. I've made a few batches using peaches and a little bit of applesauce. On my first batch I tried it out without first wiping a little oil on the sheet (counter the guidance on the instructions). The result wasn't good, as the roll-ups stuck to the sheet. I next tried using PAM, but that resulted in roll-ups that were too oily. Finally I'm put just a tad bit of vegetable oil on a paper towel and spread it around. Perfect! My only complaint is that these sheets are round, and I have the square Nesco dehydrator. It would be better to have these in a square format, especially since you would typically want to cut the roll-ups into strips.

Much Needed for my Dehydrator
After making fruit leather in my Nesco FD-80 by covering the trays in plastic wrap these sheets were a godsend. I purchased two sets (4 sheets total) and have found that this makes enough fruit leather for my family at a time (enough pieces to fill a quart sized mason jar.) The trays are a very light, thin plastic but sturdy enough to pick up even when full of fruit puree. I use a very light coating of refined coconut oil and have not had any problems with the leather sticking. Definitely recommend these trays is you are considering making fruit leather with an regularity.

Nice product
I bought this for my dehydrater but it came alittle to big. So I solved it by placing my regular rack between them and it was perfect. I also clogged the top hole to allow the air to come out the gaps on the sides and it really worked. Great product, just slightly to big.

A simple, useful tool for dehydrating
These work great! I am now making my second batch of fruit roll-ups or fruit leather as my children call it. I just followed the recipe on the packaging and used some unsweetened apple sauce and strawberries the first time. This time, I added some leftover blueberries too. I didn't follow the proportions exactly, but it came out delicious. I think any combination of fruit or proportions would work fine. I also just made a batch of chips using banana, coconut, sesame seeds and almonds. It was less liquidy than the fruit puree, but too wet to just put down on the normal screen. In the past, I have used a sheet of parchment paper which works fine, but is a bit of a pain since you have to cut the edges and a hole in the center. The fruit roll-up sheets are far better for wet mixes though because of the lip that prevents the mix from dripping. It also gives you more of a sense of how thick the mix is and of course, it's reusable.

They do the job well and clean easily.
I have not used these new ones yet but have had no issues with my original one so see no foreseeable problems when I do use them shortly. Find the price higher than what I pay locally though which is disappointing but not a tie breaker for me.

Worked great with the right method
Works good, just make sure to lightly oil first. Use apple sauce as a base, store or home made, then puree desired fruit onto it. Spread evenly and wait. Best fruit roll ups you will ever have, they do not last long! Buy lots of these!

I think they're knock offs
These don't look like the genuine nesco trays that we've bought in the past. I suspect they're knock-offs. The originals came in a package and didn't have such visible injection mould scars. They're either knock offs or nesco quality is dropping dramatically.
