Tough ball
It lives up to the name Nerf. It is very rugged, loud squeak, and large. It is a little hard to squeeze, that's not totally a bad thing.

The best dog ball.
This is the best dog ball I have found for puppies that love to chew and squeak for hours. My 6 month old Lab puppies can destroy a tennis ball in 5 minutes. The Nerf balls are still as good as new after several weeks of vigorous chewing and squeaking.

A word of CAUTION!
This was my BIG dog's FAVORITE ball. I have reordered them many times. They hold up best to his heavy power chewing. A word of CAUTION though, he would chew and pop out the squeaker the first day. He never choked, however this week he was not feeling well and he vomited up the huge squeeker plug, the size of a shotgun shell caseing! I can only imagine the plug end had been in a position in his mouth when he popped the plug and shot it right down his throat! Scary thought! It appeared to have been in his stomach for a long time. I have not given him a NEW ball for months. Sadly, I will only reorder in the future if there is a NO squeaker option.

Great quality and Shepherd Approved
Please never stop selling this ball; it is my dog's favorite toy. They last a very long time and withstand his chewing power. The squeaker will die fairly quickly, but he is also a 95lb German Shepherd. That doesn't stop my dog from enjoying this ball. Eventually, it will develop cracks/holes, so I replace them. But, it's the only toy I have found that my dog likes and that lasts this long without being completely destroyed.

Great Ball, Packaging Issue
This ball is so thoughtfully designed for dogs! It is just the right size for his mouth--safe enough, but also fun for him. He loves to chase it, roll it, chew it. It has great texture and bounce. Of course the squeaking sound is perfect to please the dog. A couple of challenges: 1) the squeaking sound stopped working after 1 day of chewing and 2) the packaging creates a hazard for the dog. They have attached a cardboard tag to the top of the ball with some plastic connectors that are inserted right into the interior of the ball. When I removed the tag, the plastic sticks right up and there is no way to remove it from the interior of the ball. The plastic sticking up is hard and pointed--it would definitely hurt any dog. I ended up having to shave off some plastic on the top of the ball with a sharp knife in order to remove all danger of being poked by the plastic. Despite all of that, I bought a 2nd one. Our dog loves it that much!

UPDATE. Last 6 months with super chewer.
We bought this for our 1 1/2 yr old border collie/pit mix who is an aggressive chewer and in just 3 days it has chunks missing all over it. Even tho it looks terrible she still loves it. UPDATE: I now order these a couple at a time. Each one last about 4 months before I replace it. My dog goes absolutely nuts over her red ball and carries it everywhere she goes and even sleeps with it. The nice thing about them is even torn up they always retain their ball shape unless one whole side is gone, but it goes in the trash long before that happens. UPDATE: We now have the Pit/Border Collie mix and a 8 month old full blown Pit. They play tug of war with this ball for 6 hours a day, every day, then they take turns just full out chewing on it. The current one is as old as the pup and has taken total abuse. Just ordered another one only because my older dog goes absolutely Christmas morning crazy when the Amazon package arrives and she can smell the new ball inside. Squeaker only lasts a day or two but that’s a good thing in our opinion.

Durable
My puppy’s fav toy. Very durable. He has lost this fav ball at the beach so I just got a new one. The squeaky thing stopped working in first few hrs but it’s okay. Think I like this without the sound better. The squeaky part stopped working for the last one so you might have the same issue. The ball itself is very durable!

A lot of money for little use
We have bought all sort of squeaky toys for medium size jack russell which he punctures and destroys within a few minutes as the reviews for this ball was so good I thought it must be worth the money, it did last longer then anything else but only about 3 hours. I was really disappointed so was our dog, have now returned it for a refund.

His favourite ball!
Bought for black Labrador to replace a similar nerf ball. Now that one I had got for £3.99 but I could not find them anywhere and that had been his go to ball no matter which other ones we bought. This was a bit expensive for a dog ball but he loves it and it is lasting well so what can you do!

Sturdy toy, but the squeak didn't last long
Our dog loves the ball. The squeak only lasted minutes. Our dog is a greyhound though and squeaks tend mot to last very long

Durability
Having a rather large 10 month old puppy who would happily rip a leather football to shreds inside 6min this ball is still in tact an able to kick it around

Very robust
I have a Weimaraner who destroys toys within 20 minutes. I have had this toy ball for a week now and looks still good as new. She loves it and the first thing she does after a walk is to go and find it. The squeak is quite load but my dog as a strong jaw. Very happy with product, worth the price.
