Durability does not mean it has to be hard to squeak

The first squeak football we bought in local store was durable and hard to squeak. I also suggest you buy ear plug to dampen the noise because my dog loves to throw it up in the air or just sit with it and squeak it.

Super!

This is really tough. The best thing is that it is one piece. My dog can't take it apart. He loves it. Just a warning, the squeak is REALLY LOUD!

Not boxer proof

It was fun for the dogs while it lasted. About a week was all it took for my boxers to destroy this toy.

Happy when squeaker goes, but dog is hahahappy.

Happy dog. Ordered months ago. On purchase delivery date was December 29. The date came and went with no football. Looked it up. Delivery changed to January 6. Arrived today, January 4. 3rd one. Grocery used to carry but no longer. Dog is happy beyond words. Thanks.0

Football Did Not Hold Up!

Squeaker failed on day one. Black paint started pealing off on day two. Rubber is coming apart on day three. My shepherd mix loves this toy, but it is becoming less safe for her to play with. Unfortunately, I will have to take it away from her, and pitch it!

Great ball for a massive chewer!

My large golden doodle goes through toys in minutes and I am happily surprised to say that this ball is still alive and well! The squeaker inside did not last more than a day but the ball has maintained its shape even after the constant chewing my dog has done on it.

Great Small rubber football

It's a great small rubber football, but it is relatively small. I wouldn't personally recommend it for big dogs because of that. Also, a side note when it comes it has the label attached with those plastic things (have no idea what there called) but they go through the ball. I wasn't able to pull them out so I had to push them into the football.

Is a great toy

Our GSD’s love it however you need to keep putting the squeaker back in if you want it to keep squeaking. At least it can be repaired if you find the squeaker ????

Tough and Noisy!

This was ordered to replace a very tough vinyl squeaker dumbbell of a sort that isn't made now, for sure. It was very tough and very noisy much to my clan's delight. So I've been on the search for a replacement to withstand the fierce attempts of my 4 border collies (2 are 53 lbs, and 2 are 38 lbs) to play predator. The nerf football is easily seen, withstands nasty attacks, and screams nicely. If your critter simply likes to lie around and squeak the toy for a spell, I suggest you get your headphones on.

Not that durable

Edit: February 14, 2020 4th day of owning this toy the rubber cover and the squeaker have broken off. Very disappointing, especially since my puppy loved this toy, especially because it squeaks! Original post: Had more hope for this, but now that it is in its second day of use I can see where it's starting to break at a joint, where a solid oval piece on top was placed and just melted together. So it's not going to last as long as I had hoped for! A shame really, because my almost 9 month old puppy loves it!!! Definitely not that durable.
