Cheap Belt

Bought this belt on April 8, 2023. Today is May 3, 2023. It’s not even a month and the coating of the leather has already rubbed off. Cheaply made stuff. Buyers beware! This is a size 36 belt. You can see from the pictures that more coating will be coming off soon. Poor product

Knock-off??

I ordered 2 of these belts. I have bought 6 over the last 10 years from the Nautica stores in Florida. These don't compare well and I suspect that either the low bidder just didn't supply the same quality or else it's a knock-off. I just hope they stand up as well as my previous purchases. AFTER ALMOST 6 WEEKS OF DAILY WEARING I NOW KNOW THE QUALITY OF THESE BELTS ARE DEFINITELY NOT AS GOOD AS MY OLDER BELTS. THE FAKE LEATHER IS PEELING UNDER BUCKLE AND IT WILL LOOK PRETTY AWFUL IF I EVER LOOSE A FEW POUNDS AND MOVE BACK A HOLE FOR A SMALLER SIZE. THAT MAY BE WISHFUL THINKING!! 20220413 update - the peeling of the fake leather continued to the point where I could not wear it any longer. I called Amazon.ca and was graciously offered a full refund of the purchase price. Too bad it ended up like that. P.S. I tried dealing with NAUTICA directly - whoa - that was a mistake. Ugly customer service. No more Nautica products in the future for me.
