Nice hinge, screws too short, price up 60% in 2 weeks!

These are great quality real stainless. Hinge pins are removable. Disgusting price increase when price of steel, etc, now decreasing (2023). Hated to throw out the #6 3/4" screws because screws are expensive now too. Very hard to find #6 1 1/4" stainless that fits countersunk holes, and it is important for screw heads to be flush. Company should definitely provide longer screws. I needed weather resistant metal, otherwise these are REALLY expensive.

Hinges

Good quality hinges but the sealed package only contained one screw. I did not need the screws for my application just sharing to make others aware.

Not quite a perfect replacement for old Stanleys

I ordered a set of these as a replacement for some legacy Stanley 2". I compared the these and the old by holding them against each other. These have leaves about 1/16" taller. I had to extend my mortises. The stainless steel seems nice and strong, although the supplied ¾" #6 screws are, in my opinion, too light for a relatively heavy or active cabinet door. I also found the recommend pilot hole size of 3/16” for them too small.

Nice hinges, too wide for my use

I bought these to replace the rusted antique brass mortise hinges on a bathroom medicine cabinet in a 100 yo house. The side wings are too wide to fit, so I won't be using them for that but these are excellent hinges. The screw-hole distances are accurate. I just didn't think about hinge width. Measure everything!

Good Hinges, Poor Screws

I purchased these stainless hinges to replace old rusted ones on our storm door. The hinges have an actual pin which is great, and the stainless seems to be good quality. The screws provided are way too short, though. Do yourself a favor and pick up a pack of stainless screws 1-1/4” or 1-1/2” #8 screws to install these — especially if the door you’re installing is on the heavy side or if the jamb is older.
