Real strong
I got this to tape my 6 mil plastic weather barrier before adding drywall to my basement. This really worked well I didn't think it would because it seemed so thin. It was like a seam you can't undo once the two sides are taped

Seals off air leaks.
I live in an older house with wood double-hung windows which look very classic, though leak icy blasts in the winter winds. This product is very flexible and tough. Adheres well, but can her removed in the spring without stripping off the paint. I used it to seal a joint in my polycarbonate-clad greenhouse and it seems to be keeping the rain out a year + later.

Use heat to apply!
This tape works wonderfully! I took off one star for ease of use because you do need to use a blow dryer or heat gun to really get it to adhere well for exterior applications. I use this for the “windows” I install on my screen porch for the winter. If you don’t heat it and smooth it down with a felted wedge (like you would for vinyl contact paper) it will peel off from the force of the wind. You may not have to use heat to apply it if you’re using it to seal an interior glass window, though. This will be the second season of use, but it’s a reasonable price to pay to turn my screen porch into a 4 season room. :-) Even with heated application, it did peel off easily and cleanly at the end of the season. No pulling off paint or any damage or residue at all. 10/10 would recommend!

Great for drafty windows and cracks!
This is a great solution if you have drafty windows or gaps around doors. We have an old door in our dining room that we rarely use, you can feel the draft coming from it, so we go over all of the cracks around the door with this tape. We also have a pulldown door for our attic which causes a lot of drafts in our hallway, we just get up on the step ladder and run the tape around the door and that stops the draft. We used to use it on our windows as well before we replaced them, it worked well. It’s a cheap and easy fix to keep out cold air in the winter.

Did not hold up in winter rains
Used it to tape clear plastic within a pvc outdoor frame. Located outside, in yard. Tape Attached well. After one or more heavy rains, the tape unstuck and was no longer attached to the plastic.

Poor adhesion in cold weather.
Not great adhesion. Came off pretty quickly.

Bonus uses! Would give ten stars! Frost King, don't ever change!!
I love this stuff! We use this around the interior frame of our wall A/C unit. The building is old and the unit access was built too high. Since we don't want to risk ladders to cover the unit outside for the winter, we use this and seal up the area around the shaft indoors. Bonus!!!!! We found by accident that this building's old construction is a perfect inlet for insects after using this tape. Yes, it's gross, but we were shocked to find the AC a source for an infestation we originally couldn't find the cause of. With the tape up all-year, I have peace of mind now. We went to killing creepy crawlies multiple times daily to only ONE this year. One or two are normal in a year, five to seven a day is insanity. And no, a costly extermination treatment didn't help. This did. It gets unsightly after a few months, but we keep four or five rolls on hand at all times. We peel off the old tape n dead creepers n their babies and put up fresh tape. We have since caulked the area, but we keep tape up just in case. Adults can't get in, but the larvae are so tiny, they wiggle on through. So, the tape stays up. It comes down if company comes over and goes back up with ease right after. Keeping our utility bills down and handling another headache! Would rate ten stars! We also use it for a seal on our vacuum cleaner bag connector since the vac company altered their allergen bag construction and is not as efficient with dust control. The connector is too loose now! The tape's uses are endless because it's paint safe yet reliability adhesive! Think outside the box with this stuff. It's way more useful than Frost King advertises.

Did not hold for weatherproofing windows inside
I was disappointed we had used the tape for weatherproofing a vacation home windows and the tape had unstuck in a week’s time. We used the tape on the inside to secure plastic. We had to retape all of the windows with another brand which is holding fine.

Keeps the draft out
Was very easy to install and it instantly stopped the draft. It was very easy to peel off at the end of the season, too.

Not what I thought it was going to be
It didn’t work well on my windows

Could stick better
Not terrible but I have to keep re-sticking some spots down. It’s on painted drywall and it’s easy-clean paint so that could be a factor. There’s a fine line for tapes between ‘doesn’t stick’ and ‘rips the paint off’ so I think this product is at least somewhere between those two extremes.

Doesn't work.
I applied a three inch long strip of this tape, plus a three inch long strip of Gorilla tape to a tent shelter tarpaulin that was ripping out. The temperature at the time was minus 5C. The gorilla tape was easy to rip off the roll, but I had to use scissors to cut the Frost King tape. The Gorilla tape is still tightly adhered to the tarpaulin. The Frost King fell off. I repeated the experiment three times at different subzero temperatures with the same results every time. I DO NOT recommend this tape. It is much more expensive than the Gorilla tape, and does not work as well.

Modite hiver lolll
