Beautiful but tricky

This was a very well constructed recessed TP holder. If cramped for space in inches this would give you a little more room than the average recessed holder. But we found loading it with a name brand 1000 sheet roll snug and a bit tricky…BUT had we not decided to go with a different design we possibly would have kept it. Like I said, high quality construction.

Looks breat but.. ..

I cut this into a tile wall and it looks absolutely great however, it is difficult to load rolls into and it isn't designed for the larger rolls of TP alot of people are using now. The rolls drag and break-off before you get what you want out of it. It's in the wall now and looks great but I wouldnt put one in again.

You'll need a different holder/rod

Although I very much appreciate that someone makes a deep-set TP holder (these are surprisingly hard to find!!!), the rod that holds the TP in place simply falls out with even the slightest tug, making it a very frustrating experience every time I go to tear the TP off the roll. After I replaced the rod with a new one, it now works great!!! Quality product, nice finish, hard to find.

Finding a deep recessed paper holder is not easy. This one is a good quality and finish. The barrel has sufficient tension to hold a large roll in place and is easily inserted and removed. One important note: there is a top and bottom which may be overlooked. The box must be installed with the barrel in the upper portion to carry the roll properly. Seems expensive but it really is not. Thank you for this product.

Shiny chrome, no bracket

When it says it comes with mounting hardware, that means screws. It does not come with the mounting bracket. I bought two. Damaged finish on rivet lines inside both. Why don’t they make this with a brushed finish? That would have solved the problem. Has a little bit of weight to it, but not the 3 lbs. listed in description.

Truly recessed

Since the tabs for the spool are inside the box rather than protruding, this is the only unit that is completely recessed. I am not experiencing difficulty changing rolls as described by other reviews. The size is adequate for Scott 1000 sheet rolls without drag.

Not Good.

Returned this item. It was very cheaply made for the price of it. The roll itself was made in pieces which kept getting stuck inside itself and it also looked like it was splitting!

Good when space is tight

Space is tight so a recessed toilet paper holder was required. I chose this because it's the only one I could find with the shaft mounted in the recess and without a flap. I knew it would need to be screwed to something at the back so had a builder install it in our vanity unit. It looks good and achieves the goal of keeping the toilet paper close so it's easy to reach but is out of the way. Despite some reviewers saying they have problems with the spring loaded shaft I find it's easy to use and works well.
