Almost a perfect vacuum just not quite
I don't know if it's because my carpet is new and not a very short pile but you can pull it back put to push the vacuum forward does not work so well and I'll have to go on their website to see if there's a different vacuum attachment than what's on Amazon. I was actually disappointed by that because I wasn't seeing any negatives really in the comments. - it's super light weight - easy to maneuver otherwise - I was looking for something with a hepa filter bag with moving into an apt with much more carpet - is happily smaller than anticipated so it makes storage even better - works easily on the kitchen floor The negative really is how difficult it is to run on carpet, which is what it was kinda designed to do but no one is really mentioning.

There is a reason they use these on cruise ships!
First saw these being used on a cruise ship. It was remarkably quiet and appeared to work well. When I questioned the service person she commented how good these were, easy to use and light to carry. We moved order one that night while onboard from Amazon. Needless to say, my wife is in LOVE with Henry!!! Works great and not very loud. AAA+++ recommended

Powerful vacuum! Perfect for our needs!
I love it! Normally I do not like canister vacuums. But after watching YouTube videos on vacuums. I purchased this one and have No Regrets! Powerful. Having the bag is so much better then bag less! I bought a turbo head for carpet, which I would recommend. I have home with throw carpets wood & tile floor, and it’s perfect for this. Suction is excellent. We live in a warm climate and get sand in our home. It picks it all up, Something that my old vacuum, Shark, never did! I’m impressed with Henry 160. One of the best vacuums I owned. It’s pricey but this is made for the long haul! Great quality vacuum, that gets the job done right!

Very powerful
The vacuum itself is a bit on the heavier side however, it definitely makes up for it when it comes to suction power. Even when the bag was completely full, the suction power felt the same.

Made with too much plastic
I’ve used Henry Hoovers for many years and my current one got damaged during a house move. I was very disappointed with this new updated model. Too much plastic in it’s making. The plate used to be made of metal now it’s plastic. Felt like this Henry would not stand the test of time and it was extremely expensive for this amount of plastic! Sorry Henry it would appear that our love affair is over!

Great vacuum! I have the large version and this has the same power in a much more compact size. Has great suction is light weight and replacement bags are inexpensive. For me it’s the perfect vac. 5 years later it’s still going strong ! Changed the nozzle to a wessell werk with a roller makes it easier to use on carpets. Highly recommend this vacuum. Ps we a Miele sitting in the storage closet that we pd a fortune for it will be in the next charity sale in our neighborhood.

Not light weight BUT AMAZING SUCTION
I needed a clean, minimal, quiet vacuum, and this 60db noise level was the best option on the market. I use to own a cordless dyson (80db) and it was a drilling ear sore, I felt bad for myself, pets, and the neighbours. The Henry 160 is great for my new 470 sq ft apartment, I like that it is a simple plug and play. A bit tedious and bulky when taking it out of the closet and rewinding the cord but it does the job well. I'm petite 5'3 109lbs so I did find the machine heavy to carry around obstacles in my home. With Dyson, the battery life dies over time, and the replacement battery can be quite expensive and always out of stock. Another thing is I live by the lake so there are sure spiders and with the long adjustable hose and interchangeable nozzles, I can suck them up in hard to reach places and not have to empty the bag often, unlike the Dyson which would release dust and dubree into the air when emptying just after a few uses, not to mention I see bug carcasses in there and that's unsightly. Overall, super happy with this purchase.

Not impressed
My parents have a henry - so I bought one thinking it would be a good family vacuum that would last for years to come. I have been nothing but frustrated with it. It has minimal suction power... I do a better job cleaning with my friends.... After my experience I would not recommend this product.

Amazingly quiet. Crazy suction! huge capacity for small compartment, and easily rolls around the house, around corners, over rugs etc without you having to pick it up! Love Henry!!

Simply the best vacuum
Fantastic vacuum, performs as advertised with amazing suction and straightforward design. Mechanisms seem very sturdy and unlikely to break, especially the cord-retract feature, which is manually wound rather than automated. Plus you get to look at a cool little guy every time you vacuum.

Works great!
When I picked this up the box was practically destroyed here was me hoping that all parts were there and it worked. All was good thank God. You guys should ship these in a stronger box end of.
