It looks more Tan in photo but Grapefruit is really more Orange
My wife wanted a flesh or neutral color to wear under her clothes to protect her arms so she would not have to wear sun screen outside. She did have some cancer recently removed from her arm. There was one that had a tan type color but I should have noted the color was called grapefruit. It was neither. The second we received it we knew it had to be sent back even without opening the package. It was more Orange than Grapefruit. We did not want the pure white because we did not need it has a contrast to other clothes so we chose Vanilla and it was just enough off white to not draw attention to the color so it appears to blend with any clothes color.

size up size up size up!
Every review I read said to size up and I am sure glad I did! I'm 6'2" and 145lbs and usually wear a small but I decided to size up to a medium since all the reviews I read said this product runs small. Like I said, I'm so glad I did because it fits just how I wanted it to! For reference, the medium fits me like the Lululemon Swiftly long sleeve shirt which I usually wear in a size 6. I haven't gone in the water with it yet so maybe I will update this review when I do go swimming with it but so far I'm happy with my purchase! Looking forward to going to the lake without getting burned!

Let's talk about size
I'm going to talk about the size since it seems to be a topic of discussion on this item. 1) This item is SKINS, it is meant to fit skin tight 2) According to the one I got, sizing is accurate. 3)I am usually an XS, I am 100 lbs, A Cup, 5'2 tall. I decided to order a SMALL instead of an XS because I didn't want it to fit completely skin tight, just a little bit of room to breathe. My top: 1) Torso, length, etc is true to size. The torso part falls a couple of inches below my hipbone, because I am so short. 2) The wrist opening runs on the small side, my wrists are tiny and the size small hugs them perfectly. 3) Shoulders and armpits area runs true to size, I have a bit more space than I would with a skin tight rashguard. My advice: - If you have a bigger chest, this might be a bit restricting on your front/chest area. - I think this might run too small for plus size. -True to size. I would rate this product as running TRUE TO SIZE if you are looking for a SKIN TIGHT RASHGUARD. If you want a tiny bit of stretch, order a size up. If you want it to fit like a fitted t-shirt, order two sizes up.

Ordred a small and XS - kept the XS
There were so many different opinions of the size that I knew I was going to have to try both. So - I ended up keeping the XS and sending back the small. There really wasn't much difference in the two. Both are extremely tight (they are supposed to be, it's like a wet suit) in fact, I didn't notice much difference in the tightness around the torso between the two. If you're looking for more of a loose swim shirt then you want to go with a different brand. The length was nice on both. I have a long torso and they were both long enough for me - the small might have been a 1/2 inch longer. The main reason the small went back was because the only place I noticed a difference in size was the neck. It was slouchy and droopy and built for a person who weighs more than me. Also, on the back side right where your underarm crease is, there was lots of excess material. For reference, I am 97 pounds and 5' 2".

Color sizing is off
These are the same shirt in the same size L, different colors. For whatever reason the coral color is much larger. Also I think it’s a pretty color, however it looks darker in the picture when ordering. That doesn’t bother me, but something to consider. Returned and order a size medium.

Perfect fit and no drag!
I'm a lap swimmer and have tried many "rash guards" or sun shirts to protect my skin from the year-long California sun. Usually, when I wear these so called swim shirts, I end up taking it off in frustration mid-swim due to the drag they add (soaking up the water adding quite a lot of drag) and stretch out! I was hesitant to try this O'Neil, but this is actually a swim "skin" that hugs my body as if it is part of my speedo, love it! Now I can swim without worrying about the damaging sun on my body! I am 5'8", about 140lbs and the size M fit perfectly.

If you aren't shaped like the picture, move on
That sounds harsh. The shipping was fast and so far the return process has be simple. Sadly, I have a few issues with this product. First, let me say that I researched a lot before buying this particular rash guard. I wanted something that was on the tighter side, flattering, but also made of good quality. I chose to order this particular item because the reviews were generally good and the price is nice for a first time buyer. I wanted something I could wear while kayaking in the summer sun. 1. The color "Deep Sea" is really just navy. It's darker and more blue then pictured. To be honest, the color wasn't that big of an issue, sure I was hoping for what is pictured, but navy isn't so bad. 2. The material feels very cheap. It feels like those active tops you can get at Wal-Mart for like, 7 bucks. I really don't think I would have liked to get this wet. That may be just my preference, but it's a fabric that will stay wet and cold. 3. The big one. The fit is horrible! I mean, bad. If you have breast, try something else. I could barley get this over my chest (I ordered a size up trying to account for that) but when I got in on, it was so unflattering. The shirt is boxy and that is the one thing I was afraid of. The neck was fine, but if you don't like things tight around your neck, again this item is not for you. If you have a slender, athletic figure this top will be great for you, if you're bigger chested or curvy, order at least 2 sizes up.

Size up!
You really do need to size up! I am 5'0", 125lbs, and 34D chest. I am consistently a small in my shirts, and wear a size 6 dress. I ordered a medium, and it was so tight around my middle that it felt suctioned on. Update: the large fit perfectly! The photo is of the large. This is a replacement for a much older version of the same shirt, and the sun protection on my old one was great! Also, it was a hand-me-down from my SIL, and still lasted me a good 3-4 years. Highly recommend the product, but I would recommend sizing up more than you think you need to.

fits very nice (it's a flattering cut)
So light, fits very nice (it's a flattering cut), and protects very well in the sun. I was in Cuba, and wore my rash guard all day on the beach and boat rides -protects well! I didn't need to constantly be slathering sun block over and over. Just make sure to put sunscreen on the lower back as your shirt will ride up occasionally and you may get a weird tan line (those surfing or snorkelling especially).

Will be buying more!
Beautiful rich colour, fits an athletic build perfectly. I typically wear a M shirt size, but ordered a L because I know rashguards fit tight. It fit perfect. Fabric is soft, but has good body. Will be buying more.

Tight fit but works well
It does fit snug, but still comfortable and flexible. Great sun protection!

Exactly what I was looking for!
Good quality, was really happy with the purchase. Usually wear a small to medium, ordered a large and was glad that I did.
