Great products

I'm a Surf and Bank Saltwater Fishing Guide. So my equipment gets used a lot ! I been using Okuma Reels for over 12 years now, with Zero issues. I'm still using those same reels I bought over 12 yrs ago. I now only use Okuma bait feeders on my Saltwater outfits. These reels are solid and very smooth. I have tried some others like Penn, Shimano etc...The Okuma's have out performed and out lasted all of them and they cost about half the price !

Smooth operating great reel

Great reel for great price. This is my second item from Amazon which was purchased as “slightly used”. Both items worked great and arrived just as described. This is my third Okuma Avenger. I have 2 baitfeeders and one regular. I am happy with all of them.

Good solid reels

Have used Okuma reels for 15 plus years. Can’t beat the quality for the price point. Salt water no issue as long as you maintain them properly. Wash down every use and yearly clean and lube. Still using 2 Okuma spin reels that are 14 years old.

Nice reel for the price.

Baitfeeder feature help when i fall in sleep at middle of night. Very good price/size/weight/drag force ratios. The only down side I found atm: The drag control isn’t fine enough, one little click will change from very tight to loose especially on the tight end.

A great added option

This is my second Okuma bait feeder. I use a 4000 on my ten-foot drift rod and now this 1000 for my little panfish rod. The reel is very smooth and a pleasure to use. But adding a secondary drag gives you more options for line management, especially if the fish are being hesitant. Great for a dead stick or with a Carolina rig.

MINI BAITRUNNER

These reels are mini baitrunners and work very well ,helped me catch 7 tench on hybrid tactics ,they match 7 ft feeder rods very well .

value for money

i used this reel yesterday, loaded up with 8lb line and fished on a feeder rod, caught plenty of fish (carp) and the bait runner feature was very useful, very smooth with excellent drag. Overall very impressed for the price and will buy another one soon.
