It’s a great Vera!

This was on try before you buy & I decided to try since I’m picky about purses! I’ve always liked Vera Bradley brand & this one is great for me. No middle divider & lots of small pockets around the perimeter. There’s a hidden pocket on the outside where I put my phone & a zippered pocket & open larger one. Top has a heavy duty (although silver) zipper at the top. They say the fabric is water resistant but I haven’t seen that yet. All in all it’s great - for me!

This thing is perfection.

The media could not be loaded. This is my first Vera Bradley and I went with the solid navy (I’m not a fan of quilted floral). I’m giddy with how perfect it is. I needed a new bag for field service and it’s the perfect size and so so functional. My magazines and tracts are kept in a leather folder and it fits perfect along with all my other essentials. My iPad mini (in a case) fits nicely in the front outside pocket making it very accessible. My house-to-house record holder fits perfectly in the inside slip pockets. Also my oversized wallet, makeup, keys, hairbrush, and gum all have homes in the other pockets. My iPhone 14 pro max with case fits perfect in the hidden top pocket. Everything has a place. It’s like this bag was made for me. The fabric is wonderful and feels lush yet durable. I love the color so much that I went ahead and purchased a purse in the same navy twill. Im hoping I’ll love it just as much as this tote bag.

Perfect large handbag

VB recycled cotton Small Vera tote—6 pockets inside, one large zip outside with slip behind that. Then top cell pocket. Light weight but room for everything you need to carry everyday. The purse charm also purchased through Amazon.

Did NOT like the fabric

I have had dozens of VERA BRADLEY bags in the past and this is the first I have ever returned. The water-proof fabric felt cheap. It is stiff and slippery to the touch not the lovely soft cotton of the VERA bags I have had. Also the "small tote" was too large. So sad to have to return it.

Lesser quality than last year’s bag

ThIs bag is not the same quality as the navy one I purchased last year. The quilted stitching is so large unlike the fine detailed stitching on the navy bag and there are large showy metal zippers rather than nylon zippers which were hidden. The inside storage pockets are the same. I would not have ordered it had I looked at an enlarged photo. I assumed it was identical to my navy one. I am keeping it. Vera Bradley is fine quality.

Good size

I bought the ‘performance twill’ in black. The bag is a good size, with a GREAT length of drop on the shoulder straps (so difficult to find a bag with long straps!). The interior has six open pockets (three on each long side) of two different sizes. All are decently sized and about 4” deep - I use mine to hold a big tube of hand cream, pens, a coin purse, snacks etc. I was disappointed to find there was no interior zipped pocket, like most bags have. However, the bag does have a neat secret open pocket at the top on the non-show side, which is quite large and will hold your keys for easy grabbing. There is no closure on this pocket (a magnetic snap would have been nice), but the pocket is pretty deep and I’ve not had anything fall out. The interior fabric is not to my personal taste, but it’s not visible from outside, and a patterned interior does make it easier to see what is inside. I have owned this bag for about two weeks of daily use, and have two issues to report. I have difficulty keeping both straps n my shoulder - one tends to fall down if I am not using my hand to hold them both. The second issue is on the exterior. The bag has mild padding (for the quilting), and I am finding the padding is starting to work its way out through the stitching, and around the whole bag, not just in places of friction. It’s purely aesthetics, but gives the bag a ratty look. Personally I would have also appreciated a pair of D-rings, as the bag is a nice size that it could be worn cross-body as well.

Buenisima bolsa, Vera Bradley es una excelente marca.

Conocí la marca Vera Bradley hace varios años y desde entonces me han gustado sus diseños y estampados. Ésta línea (Performance Twill) era nueva para mi porque solo conozco las de algodón estampadas y las de microfibra pero resultó ser excelente. La tela es suave y se siente de buena calidad, el forro igual y además el estampado es bonito y esta muy bien acabada. Es ligera, cómoda y espaciosa. La compré en color azul marino en oferta en dias de Prime a $1,200 pesos (vendida por Amazon Estados Unidos no terceros) lo que me pareció excelente precio. Llegó muy bien empacada y en excelentes condiciones. Llevo un mes usándola casi diario y estoy muy contenta con ella. Recomiendo la marca si buscan algo que dure y aguante de todo, he tenido de algodón y microfibra y usandolas diario han aguantado mucho, las lavo sin problema en la lavadora y siguen como si nada, solo se va deslavando un poco el color pero despues de varios años de uso no me quejo, son mis bolsas de batalla.

La amo! La bolsa perfecta para el día a día, el largo perfecto, tamaño perfecto, no me permite pasarme con el peso y aún así le cabe todo. Perfecta!
