High Quality Sign

Very High Quality Polished Sign - Ideal For Homes
I've been hearing stories of how property owners are getting into a legal grey-zone by having cameras, not having notice posted that there are cameras, and then trying to use those cameras when needed for a criminal or civil case. Heck, our local NPR station even had a story where a local politician suggested people get signs. If you want a sign and you're reading this, you've quickly discovered that there are three varieties. There are wooden signs, flat metal street-sign like signs, and plaques like this. Yes, a plaque costs more than a flat printed sheet-metal sign, but again, if you are reading this you are probably noting that the flat metal signs either look appropriate for an apartment or commercial property and not so much for a house in a neighborhood where a lot of neighbors come and go. I will dare to say it is less than friendly to have a sign making visitors feel like they are being monitored for criminal acts or that they are not trusted. This plaque, by contrast, is small and unobtrusive and does not really cause intimidation or even necessarily get much notice (which I would argue is part of the point). Neighbors will see a cast metal plaque and either not read it (because it looks like it belongs there, like a no solicitation sign) or they will read it and ask why it is there. I have already had two conversations based on it, and in both cases the neighbors were asking out of curiosity, not out of fear that I don't trust them or I'm operating some kind of police-state-type camera system (like some of the flat metal signs intimate). Ultimately the choice is yours, but what you get here is a very heavy, high quality, defect-free plaque (no nicks anywhere, well packaged, the polish on the letters is good) with mounting screws. It is a reasonable size, should cover the legal bases, and looks like something that you would find near a front door.

Heavy Duty
This is not a flimsy little sign. This sucker is almost a quarter-inch thick and weighs several ounces. We'll see how it holds up in the summertime sun, but so far, I'm pleased.

Not cheap, but high quality
You do get what you pay for. This is really heavy duty. Screwed it to a less than perfect rock wall and it stood up to the not-so-flat surface. Classy looking, but people get the idea. Much better than a sticker on your door. Just ordered another sign from them. Had to order direct as our friends here did not have he one I wanted.

Great deterrent
You’ll need fencing wire if you’re going to hang it on a wire fence. And fence wire is very hard to twist! Love the sign!

Worth the $
I wasn’t sure about spending so much money just to inform people on my property of surveillance, but the thought of cartoonish plastic signs placed on the front porch or decals on on a window made it worth a try. It’s heavy-duty, nice quality, and arrived on time (same day).
