Have your own 1/4" anchors

The anchor provided with the mounting kit is complete garbage. Once it was in 9/10 of the way it became hard to turn it to get it flush (even with a pre drilled hole). One turn of the screwdriver at this point stripped all the cheap plastic off then I had to use pliers to rotate the anchor out of the hole. Thankfully I had some 1/4"anchors of my own lying around and used one of those to do the job. Easy peasy. -2 stars for cheap mounting kit. 3 stars overall because the towel ring does look decent once it's up

installation system could be better

Moen, hire someone to reengineer the installation system because it sucks!. Alternatively you can go back to the old butterfly system that was the easiest way to install/reinstall. I installed the ring in my half bath, after the 18 inches towel bar in the master bath (read review). I knew I only had one shot at doing it right because after the plastic clip is in, it is almost impossible to remove it. Well i run in a complete different problem. The one screw push system is not made for wood partition walls. After I installed it, the screw would not hold. Fortunately the wall back is accessible from my kitchen. I had to move around the refrigerator and other appliances but i managed to reach the back of the screw in the wall. A bit of creativity and a good amount of cement later and everything is nice and tight and holds a towel. What should have been a 30 min job (two towel bars) turned out in a all afternoon mayor work out and humongous mess.....although i had the chance to clean behind my refrigerator..... Let's hope the quality is still there because I'm not looking forward to install another one

Bathroom Remodel

We recently remodeled our bathroom and used the Moen oil rubbed bronze in the tub/shower. We decided to change out the fixtures towel rack, hand towel ring and toilet paper holder too. After checking local and other online stores, Amazon really saved us money. Now everything matches and looks great!

WOW, very simple to install!

Builder didn't install towel rings so we grabbed two of these and they are super easy to install. My bad, second one I thought was going to need the provided molly and hit a stud! Ended up using a wood screw but this was my error! Also purchased a hanger for robes and it was great also.

Nice Appearance, Firm Installation Design

The towel ring looks as advertised and feels solid. The reason I gave it 5 stars is the hardware for installation. It comes with a good drywall anchor and screw which secure a black plastic cylinder. You push the base of the towel rack over the cylinder which will click into place securely. I've installed a number of these types of bathroom hardware pieces over the years and most have bases that are secured by adjusting a small screw under a bracket. These frequently do not fit well or over time start to fail in one way or the other. This system seems, at least initially, to fit better and be less prone to issues with the base rotating.

Good quality and easy to install

I got this on sale on amazon for about half the cost at retail stores. I purchased faucets in this line and wanted to towel ring to match. This is a sturdy ring that’s easy to install and looks great.

Precisely what I needed.

I was too cheap to buy a complete set when I originally replaced the towel bars in the bathroom. This little beauty, although a considerably after afterthought, fits right in. Not the same style name as the others, but so close it isn't noticeable. Now when I reach blindly for a face towel because I got soap in my eyes, there is actually a towel there.
