I'm a Size 13 but had to order a Size 14
If you're looking for the BEST (near) zero drop "barefoot" style everyday loafer, then this one is it. I've decided to go the Barefoot/Splay-type shoe route. The reasons why are, I don't desire for my feet to be crunched in on the big toe and pinky toe. They should sit spread out naturally. For 50+ years I've been wearing shoes and sneakers like this that may look nice with a pointed tip and raised heal, but are HORRIBLE for our posture (hips, lower back, neck and bending joints) and natural walk (your gait). There are a enough YouTube videos that will explain this in more detail (just search out: "barefoot shoes benefits." or "shoespiracy extended cut"). Here are some things to note: 1) For most people these loafers will probably be one size too small, so you'll may have to go one size up. At least I had too. 2) This is a near Zero Drop shoe. That means the heal is only about 3 to 4 mm higher in the heal. Most sneakers are about 10 to 14+ mm and dress shoes 15 to 25+ mm (on average). That's why I love these. 3) Also, these have a natural foot spread (or in other words: Splay). You should be able to easily spread all your toes out freely. This will create better standing on the ground. I wear these everyday and bought two pairs to switch out every other one each day. I'm sure I'll have these for a few years, before I have to replace them. I love them and don't even know that I have them on. Lastly, even though I wear 90%+ cotton socks to aid in keeping my feet dry (as polyester is the worst for keeping your feet dry), it seemed to only partially work. So to prevent sweating (since they don't have a leather insole), I pulled out one of my older leather insoles (from one of my Rockport loafers), and scraped off the glued foam that was adhered to the thin leather insole and just put the 1mm leather insole inside the loafer and they fit in there perfectly. So now my feet are perfectly dry and don't sweat. I don't know the science of how 1 mm of thin leather can keep your feet dry, but it does, BUT, you do have to wear 80-90% cotton socks (which are hard to find), With some searching, you'll find them here on Amazon. Make sure they're at least 80%+ cotton (or higher). With that said, these are (to me) the BEST all year round, every day wear loafers. LOVE 'EM!

I have had like 10 pairs of Sanuks
I love the comfort and the lightweight design. I work in a school with no air conditioning and during the warm months I wear these to work. Even without socks, the seem to breath and not get smelly. I also wear them as house shoes at home. They don't last forever. If you use them a lot they will get some wearing down on the soles. They can also stain, so you must be careful with wine!! That being said it's worth the money -- especially since I only by them when on sale.
