Good Size and Floats Decent.
I’m a former competitive swimmer and this board passes for my use. I use it for casual lap swimming but it holds up well. Floats well for my needs but if you’re a heavier/bigger person it might sink a tad. The foam isn’t has dense or buoyant as others I’ve used before. Overall, I will be keeping.

Great durability
This isn't the most buoyant kickboard, but I've had it for over 10 years and it's held up really nicely!

Decent
I was a competitive swimmer waaaaay back in high school.... you know.... before indoor plumbing. Back then our kickboards were made of a very rigid foam that could snap and break if mishandled. Which happened occasionally with a bunch of rowdy high school teens. This board is a more pliable foam. What I like: Size, thickness, density of the foam material, gripability, comfort on the forearms, and the 'Murica graphics. (Die-hard patriot here.) I go 200 pounds and the board buoys my arms and upper body just fine for it's intended purpose - leg work outs in the water. This is NOT a floatation device, nor is it a riding device. For the reviewers complaining about not buoying your body weight - get a paddle board, not a kick board. What I don't like: This is preference but it's a big preference to me - it's not rigid enough. This board will flex/bend on both an X and Y axis during use, especially when doing intense fin-kicking drills. I want my board to be solidly rigid. Zero bend. Zero flex. If I had my druthers, I'd laminate a 1/4' piece of plywood between an upper and a lower layer of the board's same foam just to maintain the board's comfort and gripability. Over all the board works fine for my pool workouts. We'll see how that flex hold's up over time as I am not a casual fitness swimmer. I will put it through its paces. I'll update after a few months of use.

Solid but not stiff foam - ideal
I have been swimming laps for 40 years since my high school swim team days. The biggest question I had was whether this kickboard was made of the "bendy" foam or the stiff foam or somewhere in between. The "bendy foam" isn't ideal for kickboards, IMHO: too flimsy. This board is the perfect stiffness for a kickboard: not the purely-stiff type of foam (which would be too fragile and break apart too easily), but also not at all the bendy type of foam. There is a very slight "give" to the foam, but in a way that makes it more durable, not that makes it flimsy as a kickboard. It is also "full-sized:" very similar to what most swim teams have used for decades. I am a fairly big guy, so I need a full sized kickboard, not one of those mini-kickboards. This one is full sized.

Works as expected
I got this kick-board to use for drills at the pool since we no longer are allowed to use the ones there because of covid. It seems as good or better than what you would find at any local pool. It is pretty sturdy, which I like. My only grievance is that the picture shown is not exactly what I received. I liked the one pictured with the red. Mine was just basic with no red logo. I emailed TYR directly with these images and they confirmed to me that it was in fact genuine. Just gotta be careful nowadays, always be careful shopping on this site. I've received numerous items that were not genuine, but this one seems ok.

Great for the lower body.
I'll start off by saying that I am not a great swimmer. I am someone who lifts weights, and does cardio but rarely swims. However, my new house has a pool, and I decided that I need to use it more often. But I found that when I swim, my upper arms get most of the workout. And I would really prefer if my legs and lower body did. So I decided to get this board. I am 5'7 and I think it's the perfect size for me. I can hold onto it comfortably and it provides a little bit of extra flotation but nothing crazy. And it works! The first time I tried this, my legs felt like jello after swimming for a bit. The board itself does seem durable as I constantly leave it outside in the rain and whatnot. And it still looks like the day I got it. I think this is great for anyone who wants a lower body workout when swimming, no matter what your level.

Good kick board to use
I used to be a swimmer for about 8 years and I just started to get back into the water after a mini break. I got this to start doing kick sets again and it is a good product at a reasonable price.

Great for taller people
Nice sturdy float, longer than most which is good for taller people. It doesn't have any slots so you have to grip the front or side, this is fine for me but may not suit everyone.

Bought for my 11yr old and they love it. Works well and dries quickly. Would buy again but it seems durable so not for awhile.

Sturdy and helps you to kick comfortably in the pool without worrying about buckling under the pressure of water. Very functional. It's quite an eye-catcher too. Makes you look like some kind of a serious swimming enthusiast, if that's what you want.
