Solid, sturdy, cheap, SMALL!
SOLID, STURDY: Made of stainless steel, nice and thick.. a little flexible but not too floppy. Handle is solid with good flush-ground brass rivets. No wiggle in the handle, washes up easy. I would warn against washing in the dishwasher much, in my experience these kind of wooden handles ultimately pay the price and start to degrade as the clear-coating starts to come off. Hand wash it and it will last a long time. CHEAP: For five bucks, you can't go wrong. I bought this to use with my cast-iron so that I would not be melting my plastic spatulas.. plus, stainless is supposed to be good to use with cast-iron as it helps keep the developing nonstick coating (the seasoning) in good shape. For the price, it is a solid piece of kitchen equipment. SMALL: This thing is tiny,. READ THE MEASUREMENTS ON THE DESCRIPTION, and then get out a desk ruler and see if this will be big enough for you. I bought it primarily to work in my little 11 inch cast-iron skillet.. works great for eggs, somewhat for pancakes if they are small, but tried to use it on my pizza stone as a kind of "mini pizza-peel" and it really is just to small for that. The picture is somewhat misleading as it has nothing to compare for reference. Did I mention it is tiny? WOULD I BUY IT AGAIN? Absolutely, but know that it is small and will fit small needs.

Great small size for small tight places
Both our son and we had the small Pampered Chef's spatula and loved the size. Our son's broke, handle came off, and ours did the same thing. I really feel like this was our faults as we put them in the dishwasher. I found this little Fox Run and ordered one. The size of this spatula is ideal for our use. It can get into the cake pan for a small first piece of cake or the brownie pan for that first corner without disturbing the rest of the pans contents. I use a small stainless steel skillet and a small cast iron skillet a lot and this turner is ideal. The slots keep the juices or oil drained away from the item I'm cooking. I find it too small for turning a fried egg or an omelet though. The width of the slotted area is 1.5" and the length to the bend of the metal is 3.25"...total of the stainless steel being 4.25". The wood handle is 3.75" and the part I like about the handle is that it's got brads holding it on to the metal. The brads are flush to the wood, making the whole handle smooth. I always hand wash this turner and have even used tung oil to keep the wood staying nice. Never never leave the handle sitting in water if you want it to last. I find this little spatula indispensable (as my son evidently does too).

wood handle/ stainless steel for a reasonable price
It has good balance and construction for the price and I like the feel of real wood. I use it primarily for my fried eggs in the skillet in the AMs. As with most wood handles, plan on hand washing it and not submerging it.

More than a toy
We have a little iron skillet that is perfect for frying one egg. For many years we tried to maneuver those poor eggs with a huge spatula that didn't fit in the pan--with disastrous results. When I saw this, I suspected it could be a solution to our problem, but I worried that as a toy, it might be flimsy. It's not flimsy at all, and visitors ask where we got it. Now our eggs are happy and all in one piece.

This is also an excellent spatula. It is more delicate and lends itself well for delicate fishes. It is very pliable which makes it good for fish fried one at a time in a small skillet which can be tricky spacewise. Great tool. I really like it. Also, I often use an appliance called a New Wave oven. It is designed to drain excess fat out of meats by way of a raised grill. But I also use it for baking fish because you don't have to thaw it out before cooking. Since fish like cod or trout are so delicate, I juse metal foil which is disposable. With this tool I am able to turn the fish to cook the underside, without tearing the fish or the foil.

It's Okay
The small spatula that I had been using for over 30 years, finally needed replacing. When I came across this one on Amazon, I thought it would be a good replacement. Since the overall size was not listed, I emailed Amazon for further details. As is often the case, they didn't have any more information than was already listed. The reviews were so good, I decided to give it a try. I know it's called a mini spatula, but I wasn't expecting something quite sooooo mini - especially for $8.79. For the record, this spatula measures 1 5/8 inches wide. The 8 inch length breaks down into 4¼ inches of spatula and 3¾ inches of handle. It is nicely made, and I do like that it has a beveled edge; so I'll try using it for a while. Update: This may work if you're preparing food on a griddle, but the handle is much too short for usage with a frying pan.

It’s really small but great for smaller cooking. Very sturdy and well made.

Price Higher than Listed
I like the product. However, I was shocked to see a charge of $10.99 on the invoice when I received the product. The product charge was suppose to be $4.63 with free shipping. It was sold as an add on item when you purchase $25 or more. Why would I be charged $10.99 in lieu of $4.63? Makes no sense. The product is not even listed at a higher price than about $8.00 when bought through other retailers through Amazon.

Smaller Than I'd Like
It is OK, but smaller than I was thinking.

Perfect camping spatula
Very sturdy and nothing to melt so is perfect for camping. Very compact but not undersized so is perfect for backpackers who need to conserve space. I use this with a 21cm Primus frying pan for camping. Highly recommended.

Ok
It’s a great little flipper, but the handle was still pretty rough. I had to sand it some more to get it smooth.

The handiest little lifter
It just the perfect size for so many tasks, lifting main courses, desserts, etc. I almost always choose this relatively small tool over the larger ones.
