GREAT TOOL FOR CUTTING THE LEADS ON ELECTRONIC COMPONENTS ATFER SOLDERING THEM TO A PC BOARD

I love this little diagonal cutter that works great for what I bought it for. I use it for cutting the leads on electronic components I solder onto a printed circuit board. They're also good for cutting small gauge hookup wire. This is the second time I bought them after a friend tried to use them like a set of pliers which resulted in them putting gaps in the blades. They work great for the purpose they're made for and for what I bought them for, but they are not wire pliers and were never intended to be used as such!

Excellent nippers

Extremely sharp, well designed return spring, and fit perfectly in hand. Mine are marked "made in Italy". There's no reason to spend more on other brands. Would not hesitate to purchase other products in the same line.

One More Fantastic Review

These things get such great reviews, and I feel the same way, so what can I add to what has already been said? Not much! These things are great! I have three pairs of them. I also like to give them as gifts for the "tool people" in my life. They feel great in your hands, are very precise, and stay sharp. And how can you possibly beat the price? Side note: I am a big fan of the NYT Wirecutter review site and they have, ironically (??), done some reviews of wire cutters. They did review these and sort of gave them a tepid review. I disagree and thought it was unfair. Their main feedback was these were too small to cut thicker wires. Well, yeah, these aren't made to cut 10AWG solid copper cable. In my view there are different wire cutters for different purposes, and there isn't a one-size-fits-all solution. I found these are good down to 18AWG, but they are also good for all kinds of other things like snipping hanging threads, small plastic tabs, and even hang nails. Love 'em!

Better than Klein

Great tool. The Kleins always break at the spring and are not oiled well. These have a better design and are oiled.

Can’t Beat These for the Price

I’ve been using these almost daily for work for about 9 months now. I primarily use them for cutting zip-ties and small electronics (I install LED for TV and film sets). I recently had to lubricate the spring as they were not opening automatically anymore, but I can say that for the price they have performed extremely well and I can see getting several months more out of them. They are still as sharp as when I bought them and fit nicely in the hand. You can’t beat these for the price!

Great wire cutter, reaches tight spaces

I've had this wire cutter in my toolbox for over 5 years. It reaches small and tight spaces and works great. The handle does not lock, so I use a rubber band to secure it.

good quality cutters have become available

Use it only for cutting soft wires. The metal blades are soft and I damaged mine trying to cut a steel wire. Now I see that cheaper, good quality cutters have become available.

Muy útil para modelismo

Herramienta que debería de ser un básico para modelismo, en plástico y metal. Las he usado para separar las piezas en modelos de Metal Earth y no han perdido su filo después de tres modelos. Es mucho más barata y mejor construida que otras pinzas de corte hechas especialmente para modelismo

Muy utiles y de buena manufactura por ese precio recomiendo ampliamante su compra. Yo la utilizo para el cableado estructurado, específicamente en la realización de cables de red UTP con ponchado de conectores RJ45, muy útil, muy barata y el envio a cargo del servicio AMAZON PRIME mejor compra no puede haber, muy contento y feliz por las pinzas. A mis compañeros de trabajo les gustaron mucho que termine comprando 5 pinzas mas. Se recomienda cortar cables o alambres no mayor a 16AWG de calibre (grosor).

Use these every single day.

These are the best, I use them every single day. I bent my first pair because I was trying to cut something way thicker than what these can handle and ordered a new pair right away because I couldn't be without them. Gave 4 stars because you can't lock them shut and as sharp as they are they are at the top they can be dangerous while rummaging through a tool box.
