My baby got this for his first birthday several months ago????and even though he was a little young for it at the time, he was still really excited to see so many animals he already knows! He loves finding the animals hiding behind the doors and making the sounds for them???? As his fine motor skills continue to improve, he gets more confident pulling the animals out- those magnets are a great workout for little hands!???? ????THIS TOY IS GREAT FOR???? - animal recognition (chicken, sheep, cat, goat, horse, cow, rabbit, pig, and sheep are the magnet pieces; fox, spider, bird, mouse, goose, butterfly, worm, dog, and caterpillar also make appearances on the board itself) - vocabulary (behind, above, under, beneath, open, close) - language skills (lots of opportunities to talk about where the animals are and what they’re doing) - fine motor skills (opening and closing the doors, pulling the magnetic animals out, putting the animals back in) ????RECOMMENDED AGE???? - 1 year and up- close supervision for small parts and magnets (manufacture age recommendation is actually higher because of the possible safety hazard small of the small magnets, but this toy can be enjoyed much earlier under close supervision!
