Mechanix are the go-to gloves.
These may be slightly pricier gloves, but they're worth it in my opinion. The key to any tools or equipment, is to use them in the manner they're designed for. Understanding this, these gloves should last you a good long time, even with high wear and tear. The touchscreen functionality works beautiful, and I've done extensive testing of these for watching instructional videos, or reading a how-to, when working on my car. It has good water resistance (Resistance does not imply immunity, rather that it won't get easily soaked, but that it most certainly can with prolonged exposure or submersion). I highly recommend these gloves for standard protection purposes. Obstacles, mechanic work, sports, etc. I do not recommend using these gloves for oil, other chemical handling/use, nor for cutting or applications that could cause punctures or high friction (aka a sander or grinder which could eat through the fabric). I also do not recommend them for cold weather, nor electrical work. They are not insulated, and therefore, not designed for that. I would say to view other gloves sold by Mechanix if you're needing a pair for a job that is shown in my not recommended list above.

A good overall work glove but doesnt shed light water and velcro was a little weak
I am hard on my work gloves and that is why I only by the Mechanix Wear brand. These gloves didnt have the protection on the top of the fingers like most of mine have and the leather was a little thinner on these. They are great for warm weather but caution, rose thorns go right threw into your hand. I did use these when working a small gas engine and I was able to use all my tools and even pick up screws with these on. I guess I need to learn to use the right gloves for the job.

Comfortable and durable
I work in a grocery store and use these every day. They’ve lasted months so far and continue to feel great and off great grip without being to rigid. Bought some water resistant ones due to nature of my work but these are great for the day to day.

Nice gloves
I can’t comment on durability yet because I’ve only worn them a handful of times. They are very comfortable though and quite nice to use. The price is fair, as I’ve had more expensive gloves of poorer quality. If the stand the test of time, I’d buy another pair.

Cut the side tab inside.
A great fit. Inside, on the side, you'll need to trim the side label. Mine was ever so slightly, poking out, and catching the side of my hand. A quick easy trim, and all's fine. A good fit. I have decent sized hands, but hate gloves that are large with extra long fingers... Not these. The finger length is perfect. I went for size large. PERFY FIT. I didn't rate durability, cos I've only had a week or so.... SEE UPDATE. Comfy to wear Good price Quality gear Look good on. Definitely cuts out the wind, but not declaring windproof. So far it's kept my hands warm, even in the current cold winds. Worth it. Go get some. Widely worn by those in the services, and I can see why. UPDATE I still love these gloves. 4 weeks on, and these are my go to gloves Will add waterproof spray later to make them perfect. Not particularly quick drying (couple hours in ambient conditions), but do comfy. even on cold blowy days, my hands are kept warm. If I put them on after getting cold, my hands are quick to warm up. 4 weeks on from purchase, and I love them, and will be buying more.

Great (also) for cycling!
I am a size 9 with gloves, checked Mechanix's pdf sizing chart which confirmed this, however the gloves are a little small/tight. If you are in between sizes I would suggest to go UP. Overall though I am very happy because they seem sturdy yet I am enjoying a much better dexterity, comparing to other gloves I have. I use these gloves for cycling, but these are obviously good for many different purposes. I think they protect your hands very well. It's a shame they are not water proof but aside from this I am happy, in fact I wear these gloves even when I go walking, shopping etc. because they look cool but not flashy or conspicuous.

A MUST for airsoft.
Durable, comfortable, , well made, tidy stitching, not too intrusive onto the wrist. Truly the best pair of gloves I have ever owned. When these eventually need replacing, I will probably just buy another pair of mechanix. Amazing.
