Love these gloves

I originally bought a pair at Home Depot (clearance) and loved them. I wore them out & needed a new pair. Ordered online & they fit like a glove!

Love these gloves, but the item description is misleading (ONE pair of gloves). The item description said "pack of 2" which I assumed meant two pairs of gloves. Nope, it's one pair of gloves; pack of 2 means you get a left glove and a right glove = 2 gloves. I found that a little disingenuous. I contacted Amazon support and they told me that this is indeed a ONE pair of gloves. I've had many pairs of these gloves and they are my favourites. Just docking 1 star because of the misleading advertising.

Great comfort, poor durability

This is actually the first of two pairs of these I bought…first lasted 4months, finger ripped at a seam. Second pair lasted barely over 3, and the leather over the thumb pad had worn through. Everything they say about comfort is 100% accurate - they fit incredibly well, give great dexterity. Barely feels like you’re wearing a glove. But, for the price they wear out way, way too quickly.

One of my favorite low-end gloves

These gloves look really nice to me and they're pretty durable for light work. I think they are comfortable, but more form over function I think.

great all-around glove just not as much protection as the original's

I wear Mechanix gloves every day at work, just the Original or Fast Fit black ones and I love them. I figured I'd get a nice leather pair for at home and this pair of gloves has surprised me so many times. I've had them for 2 years now, never beat them up that much other than occasionally moving logs around in the fire which ended up being their downfall. I should have gotten the original or the M-pact, on the Fast Fit model the leather or protection doesn't go up the inside or the outside of the fingers of the glove except for the index finger there is just the stretchy material there probably to help them flex more to get them on your hand. It just so happened that I grabbed a burning log a little too tight and a little too long and it burnt holes in the stretchy part of the fingers of the gloves. It didn't burn me though, and that isn't the first time I've had issues with the protection not covering the inside or outside of the fingers. I'm going to be purchasing the M-pact model next because of the extra palm leather, and the leather goes all the way up the inside and outside of the fingers. I could do without the knuckle protection but it's an added benefit. The Durahide leather is superbly durable the leather is still as thick as it was the day I bought them, and absolutely the most comfortable leather glove I've ever wore. The only complaint I have is really with the way the Fast Fit model is designed. They are faster to get on not necessarily easier and might be just a tad bit comfier due to the glove being tighter on your hand, but they have less protection and aren't as durable as the Original. If you get the Fast Fit model, I would tell you to get them a size down from what you would get in the Original. The Original doesn't have the flex that the Fast Fit does so you can downsize the Fast Fit. The Original are easier to get on, but the Fast Fits offer a much better fit "Like a glove" so to speak. I would recommend any Mechanix product because I've used them extensively and they have absolutely saved my hands on more than one occasion!

Decent Work Glove

I use these working around the house. They're pretty lightweight, and decent for wearing in the peak of summer. Grip is pretty good. Durability is not great, I guess that might be a consequence of them being lighter weight. The tips of the gloves wear out before anything else, but they are somewhat inexpensive, so it is not a deal breaker.

Had anothe pair but I forgot it overnight in the garden. Resident fox got it and tried to fit it in its mouth & between the teeth so it was time for another one. Now everytime I see that fox, I can give it a gloved finger.

Stitching falls apart

Comfortable to wear but didn't last long at all till the stitching was literally falling apart in multiple places on the palms and fingers of both gloves- not even under very hard work, just some digging and brick stacking. An absolute joke for the price paid, and given the other complaints it's a common problem. Mechanix customer service don't seem to care at all either- seems they cashed out once they got name recognition. AVOID!

Very thin leather.

Working on a 5 week framing build, I Brought them to replace my long serving Hatch gloves. They gave little to no protection. Switch back to my old gloves within the first day. Very poor quality for the price.
