Almost like not wearing gloves.
First, and this is important, these are NOT 'work gloves' ... unless you frisk people for a living. Second, I like them a lot. They seem to be well made with not even a stitch out of place. They fit me well and are very 'tactile'. You really do feel everything you touch. While not insulated, they offer enough protection to my hands to make a difference when holding the freezing steering wheel of a car in the winter until it warms up. Then I take them off but I don't have to. After a while you forget you have them on. I have done a little target shooting with them as well. Absolutely no issues doing that either. Yes, you can operate your cell phone with these on. I'm sure I will find more uses for these gloves. I only gave these a 4 star rating for durability because I have not had them very long and don't know how well they will hold up.

Excellent light duty gloves. They are thin and breathable due to the stretch back hand and inner finger material. Very similar to the discontinued sog grip light gloves i used to order. These will give you a minimal barrier between you and something you dont want directly touching your skin. Only has leather on the palm side of your hand and tops of fingers. The sides of fingers and back hand are all permeable materials. Dont expect these to last more than 4-6 months being used 2-3 times a week based on how its assembled. Thats pretty average for this glove type. Would recommend putting on surgical gloves underneath for biohazard mitigation Pros: super light. Breathable. No bright or flashy logo to violate any policy. Velcro attachment is on back of hand out of grips way. Conforms to hand well. Cons: Full leather fingers, atleast enough to wrap around the sides would help with mitigating contamination. A full nylon/leather cuff at wrist could make product more durable against tearing. Would reccomend for most job types not doing heavy manual labor.

Good gloves so far.
They are comfortable and they do what they were bought for. I use them while training with LWRC gas piston AR they manage the heat from the hot gases. They haven’t stated to fray worn about thirty hours now and holding up good.

Good quality if sized correctly.
The fit and leather are typical Mechanix quality. I haven’t had any issues with the glove tearing like some of the other reviews, and I think that’s because the others sized it wrong. I wear a small in Mechanix for reference. I pulled the gloves on by the loop and the gloves never tore. Unfortunately, due to the design of the Velcro on the wrist strap hook part, it constantly rubs against your skin. It’s uncomfortable, and is the opposite design of the 0.5mm Velcro closure. Overall, the glove offered amazing dexterity, and I could use the track pad on my MDT at work - that’s how good the touch screen sensitivity is. I’m knocking a star due to the Velcro being a poor design. I can’t comment on durability, but I wouldn’t expect them to last more than a few months of duty use since they are so thin.

Phenomenal pair of gloves
*UPDATE 6/19/19* **I’ve been wearing these for a while now and they are fantastic. The stitching still holds great and the grip is still fantastic. These glove are, without a doubt, the answer to my problems.*** I bought these to ride my motorcycle. I love this brand of glove but the normal kind in the store never had enough grip for my handlebars. So I ordered these. When they first came in I didn’t think they’d work... WOW... I was pleasantly wrong. They fit great and comfortable. The grip is phenomenal and when I stop and check my phone I no longer need to take off my gloves. I’m sure they’ll eventually wear out but I DEFINITELY WILL BUY THIS PRODUCT AGAIN.

Well made gloves for whatevery you are up to...
These are a pair of light gloves ready for action. Seriously, anything you are up to they're good for. They even are able to be used with your smartphone witout taking them off even though this is not really mentioned in the descriptions of the gloves. I have used them in all kinds of weather and situations and so far works great with no damages. Pro: Sturdy and very good quality Con: Stained my hands the first couple of times when they got wet but it is better now. The Velcro is very sturdy and after daily use for quite some time shows no signs of wear. On the other hand the Velcro can scratch they upper part of your hand if you fasten it incorrectly.

Good gloves.
I love these gloves. I use them for my motorcycle. They are not warm at all but will protect your hand from the wind at least. Touch screen finger tips work good. Only problem with these are, they break down too fast. I had them probably 4 months and they are starting to fray and come apart.

The only glove I'll use in Law Enforcement
I have had a lot of success with these gloves. The touch screen works great for me, they fit my hands perfectly and I have never had issues shooting while wearing them. Perfect for every-day LEO tasks. I will say the touch screen capabilities diminish overtime though. They are reasonably priced though, and the shipping is always super quick so I order a new pair every year.

Not a 'work' glove unless you’re a cop
It’s not clear from the UK listing is that these are designed for US 'law enforcement'. The Mechanix website talks about frisking suspects and handling guns.

Pleather
Fit is close to the sizing guide, the finger tip seams are quite thick so get in the way for fully fit for touch screen use. The way the middle and index finger are seamed is odd. And there is a lable on the blade of the palm that catches on everything. Sure you want your branding on it but to impact functionality? Only had them a few days I'll add more later..
