Love the frame but shipping could be better.

I have purchased 3 of these over the years. I absolutely love this frame, except the corners after being shipped are always chipped, or broken. I end up just dealing with it. Maybe they could package this a better way.

Great

The packaging was tight around the frame but it wasn't horrible to get it off as other reviewers were saying. The spot where you put the tassel isn't a hook it's actually a loop which I had a tough time trying to loop in my tassel, so instead i taped it in. There were a few scratches on my frame but they were small and on the back of the frame so i didn't care. You can insert the photo right up against the glass or to the back of the frame to get the shadow box effect. Please also note that this frame was meant to but mounted on the wall and not free standing with an easel stand. Thankfully, I had a metal frame stand on hand so i was able to keep on my frame on my desk and not on the wall. Overall i love this frame because my tassel is safe and beautifully displayed next to my smiling face at graduation.

Nice frame

The hook for the tassel was much too small to be able to tie the tassel onto it. I ended up having to scotch-tape the tassel to the outside of the frame in order to make it work. Also, the mat was pretty flimsy and I had to use scotch tape to get the picture to stay. It looks nice and all in all, for the price it is a good frame.

This frame is pretty low quality

This frame is pretty low quality. It does the job it's intended to do, but you can tell that the manufacturer tried to save money wherever possible. The frame is plastic, though it looks clean and tidy. The glass is actually glass and not plastic, so that's nice. There is no way to attach a photo to the mat-board without taping it on yourself, which feels a little tacky (not that anyone else can see it). The two mat-board pieces are not well glued together and mine had a big ugly gap forming that I had to glue together myself (once glued, though, it looks fine). Additionally, my mat-board is rather bent inward in the center, which looks a bit tacky. Again, I had to take it out and try to flatten it under something heavy for a while to get the curve out as much as possible. In the end, it looks nice - but I shouldn't have had to fiddle with it as much as I did and I doubt it would hold up to any out-of-the-ordinary wear and tear.

Looks good for a great price

The price was great especially compared with the cost of the photographer's options that were similar. This was just the right size and looks decent. It even got bumped off the wall once and survived. I had to glue it as it split a little at the corner when it fell - it's not real wood or anything. Velcro wall hanging strips work really well to keep it from getting bumped off the wall again. I ordered 3 for all 3 kids so they would all match and I'm happy with choice.

Really nice frame for the price

Great frame to put a graduation photo and tassel in. It is plain, but still very nice. I did not have any issues with the build quality. I am happy with this purchase, and it is a good deal at around $15-20. I think you would be hard pressed to find this same style and quality for that price at a big retailer. Seems thick and well made. My original review was mistaken, this does not have the little metal tabs that you bend down to hold the back on. It has the round hook style that you spin around and latch under the edge of the frame. Way better and holds the back on better.

Best product for a very good price!

Agree with all the other reviews that the hook for the tassel does not work but its so easy to tape the tassel to the upper side along the hook. Looks perfect. Good quality for the price. No regrets.

While the frame is great the biggest issue I had was trying to figure out how to hang the tassel I thought mine was regular size but it was a bit complicated and since it had no directions (I'm pretty sure it may have seemed obvious to fit ) I had some issues and ended up taping my tassel to the back of the paper to get it to look like the picture it he frame was heavy duty and looks great it's not cheaply made at all and what may have been easy for some just wasn't for me I will buy another soon though
