Love McDavid, But This Product = LEAKY!! *75% LEAKED*
The media could not be loaded. I want to start off by saying that I am a huge and loyal McDavid fan. I have many McDavid braces that I use for a wide variety of injuries and activities and am typically a great ambassador for their products. These Ice Wraps however, are another story. I bought 2 wraps for my elbows. I'm recovering from surgery on one elbow and have had an older surgery on the other. I bought them last week and have used these wraps 4 times now to reduce inflammation. They do not provide cold around my entire elbow, so I put them in place for 15 minutes, then shift them to the spots that were not covered by the ice bag. First the good. The wrap itself is well made and easy to put on one-handed. The velcro sticks easily and the neoprene stretches enough to get a comfortable fit. The wide mouth ice bag is adequate for crushed or cubed ice. When applied, it delivers enough cold to help reduce inflammation, although it could be a little colder. They stay in place so that you can wear them around the house and do other actives while icing. Although the coverage area is adequate, I'd like it to cover more area, however I realize that this may be specific to me and my purposes. The Bad: IT LEAKS! That's it. The mouth and screw in stopper are not water tight and leak water. I discovered this on the first use, as I fell asleep in bed after a work out and woke up with soaked sheets. When I use the ice wraps I must put down towels to catch the leaking water. Today after a lifting session I put on the ice wraps and got on the spin bike. Towards the end of my ride, there were two puddles on the mat under my elbows from leaking water. This is not a deal breaker, but it is certainly an annoyance that I am aware of every time I put on the ice wraps. I'll continue to use the ice wraps, but I will not encourage others to purchase them, or at least do so knowing the leaking is super annoying. UPDATE: After submitting my first review, Raul from McDavid left me a comment in the space below asking me to contact him. I did and he was very friendly and to make things right sent me 2 brand new wraps in the mail for free. These two new braces were identical to the original True Ice Wraps that I'd previously purchased. The only complaint that I had with the original True Ice Wraps, were that they leaked. So I opened the new ones and put a little water in them. One of them leaked and one did not. I haven't worn the new wraps yet, I just did a water test. In total I have 4 True Ice Wraps and 3 of them leaked water on the first wear or the first test. I really appreciate Raul reaching out to me and sending me new wraps to make this right, but in my opinion, with 75% of the True Ice Wraps leaking, this is simply a design failure. I hope that McDavid will go back to the drawing board and redesign the screw cap. (If they do I'd love to try the new version) I do not recommend buying this particular product, although I still recommend the McDavid brand for most of their products.

Leaks, otherwise happy.
I trusted a response that the leaking issue had been resolved in 2022..... FALSE. It's just a simple old fashion ice bag, not a new invention and sad this company cannot support a clearly defective product. Reached out to company via their online support page I was directed to from Amazon and no response. If the leaking issue wad fixed this would be a great product, but unfortunately this still defective and not addressed by the seller.

Love this product!
I purchased this for my daughter who plays Fastpitch softball. She complained at first saying she didn’t need it; however, this has quickly become her favorite ice pack because it holds teal ice, which is readily available, stay cold longer, and the fit is perfect. I would highly recommend this for anyone who needs to ice their elbow - works great on ankles too!

Great product and even better customer service.
Hold a ton of ice so well over 2 hours before you even have to think about adding more ice. stays in place even when moving around alot. Had a small drip from the filler seal, called the company to ask for a new seal ring and they just sent me an whole new brace/icepack with no head ache at all. The only thing I would like to see improved is something to keep the ice pack from sticking out through the filler hole in the brace as much. this has no functional impact but sticks out a bit and bumps into stuff when you are waking around.

Definitely worth it!
Works great! I have elbow tendinitis from weightlifting and this product has really helped with recovery. Before I bought this, I would sit and practically do nothing while sitting at the table with ice bagged up around my elbow. Now I can put this on and although a little restrictive, can function normally. This has allowed me to ice more often, has really helped my pain and allowed me to workout with my normal schedule. Great quality, no leak, fits great, would definitely buy again. I thought it was a bit pricey but well worth the money from the results and it is nice quality.

Love it!
Thought maybe it was leaking but I think it's just condensation. This thing is great for my tennis elbow. Stays in place. Gel packs are nice for a quick short ice but with this the cold last longer with real ice. And you can refill without waiting. Great design.
