Gave my quad the stability I needed
I'll start this out by saying I have awful muscles, no they don't look bad and they work at times when I need them but I tend to pull them often (which is a whole other topic). This happened recently with my quad during a soccer game which set me in need of some support for it. About two weeks after the strain I got this thigh wrap and it gave my leg the stability I needed to comfortably continue to play. The velcro makes the wrap as tight as you need it which is key. Pros: - Adjustable, lets you get it as tight as you can - Easy to put on and use - Doesn't smell bad after use (you'll understand, with it wrapped tight you will sweat more with it) - Flat out does the job Cons: - Does slip which can really be annoying - Expect your leg to be sweaty from it, but thats inconsequential you are wearing the wrap to support your leg muscles not to be trendy Tips: - For guys, wear a pair of boxer briefs, put this wrap on tight, then get compression shorts and put them over top of the brace. Might be more of a cost but the compression shorts will keep the wrap in place without it slipping at all and give you the extra support you need from the wrap. I would get it again, and at the moment only have one but have thought about getting another (again, bad muscles and the whole better to be safe than sorry.)

Pros- perfect compression to prevent further injury
An old quad injury came back to haunt me playing inter-mural soccer. I had previously had a similar wrap and after reading all the reviews, decided this McDavid model was the way to go. Pros- perfect compression to prevent further injury, keeps the muscle warm, and has aided in healing of that muscle. Cons- your legs will get sweaty, sticks to most athletic shorts. Okay, so the cons are you're going to get sweaty, I'm using this for exercise, so I knew that would be a factor. I will say, if you don't get it on tight enough your sweat will cause this to slip. Put it on tight (tighter than you think) and it will stay put. I also make sure to get it as high up on my thigh and under my butt as I can. It really won't go anywhere if its tight. 2nd it sticks to the fabric of my shorts. It's kind of fuzzy, so I do have to constantly tug the hem down on my shorts. Kind of annoying, but not the end of the world. Overall, this is worth every penny for the reduction in pain and the support this provided for me. Highly Recommend.

Very helpful relief
Bought this for help with a torn hamstring. I decided to pay a little extra for the velcro adjustable version so I could control the pressure exactly as I wanted. I'm very glad I did. This thigh sleeve is very easy to put on and adjust the pressure from slight to very tight. Also, since it's adjustable you can wear it over an underlayer or an ace bandage. One thing surprised me a bit, as I did not think I was prone to "dermatitis," but I did start to get very itchy after a couple hours of wearing it. Putting a paper towel between it and my skin fixed that without impacting performance. As with any sleeve I think, it may work it's way downward gradually as you wear it. But it's easy to slide back up or unstrap and refasten. I think this is another time where the velcro comes in quite handy. NOTE: The product differed slightly from the picture. Instead of a single thin band of velcro on the edge, it has three large square shaped velcro tabs that allow for fastening. This actually seems much easier to fasten and adjust than what is pictured, so a good improvement I would say.

It doesn't stay on your leg
I bought this because I had a hamstring injury & was leaving town to go skiing. I was looking for something to support my injured hamstring. This product just slid down my leg. There's no neoprene or anything similar to help with holding this wrap up on your thigh.

Works but occasionally slides down
Overall pleased with the product, wife uses to try to decrease swelling from bypass surgery in leg. 2 issues, first sometimes just slides down, does not stay in place, second is that it gets sweaty underneath / does not breath well. The other day I was assisting putting it on and noticed that the backing that the Velcro hooks onto is separating from the "body" of the wrap. Size is a little small also, just right for her but she has small thighs.

Good hamstring support!
This provided valuable compression and support after a complete tear of my hamstring tendons. It was easy to take on and off because of the velcro, as well as to adjust the size based on the degree of swelling. It stayed up reasonably well (and better than the large knee brace which one of my doctors recommended to keep the knee from bending, to rest the hamstring). My hamstring injury occurred at the top, where it originates in the pelvis, so I wore the brace as high as possible. Perhaps that is why it slipped down less for me than for others.

Very good, although a little hot
I have some hip mobility issues and a hamstring scar, and bought this to provide some additional support when exercising. It's a very good product, the triple straps make it possible to modify the way it fits and help keep it in place. The only two limitations are that it's not very breathable, so my thigh gets hot and sweaty, and since it's only wrapped around the leg, rather than being attached to the waist, it can slide down a little. Otherwise it's a very good product.

The material that is used is very sturdy, durable and well designed
Got this for my quadriceps contusion, worked wonders! Provided a lot of support, I literally went from liping to walking again, and much of the pain I had went away. The material that is used is very sturdy, durable and well designed. I have been using this product for two months and the velcro is still in great shape. The only flaw is that the compression will sometimes fall which is expected. Would recommend wearing shot pants when using.

Well made Velcro could be a bit longer and maybe in one strip.

Works well
Took longer to arrive than I wanted, but still showed up before my next game. I ordered one for each leg, and although they do slip a bit when walking around, once there's a little sweat under them they stay put. They keep my legs from blowing out while running and I wouldn't be able to play ball without them. The back is not "sticky", but is soft, non-irritating neoprene.

fits and works great
I am a 6'1" male 250lbs... the wrap fits with no problem.. coming off a double tear in my hamstring and this wrap is a must for sure. once it starts to sweat a little it stays up really well.

does the trick
I have chronic difficulty with hamstring pulls - left and right - due to the high-intensity sports I have chosen (competitive racquetball and squash) which tend to strain the les muscles to the max. Another factor in these debilitating injuries may be that I am 65 years of age and parts just won't stay healed! I bought two thigh wraps from McDavid through Amazon - they work beautifully and so far have prevented any injuries whatsoever. They fit well and they stay in place. I will be wearing them from now on. Jim

OK Product.
OK product. Hard to put on and some times and some times slide down the thigh. If put on right, put on compression for the thigh.
